    Pupusa revuelta chilate y nuegados

It was sooo delicious the only thing is the pupusas are very small other than that flavor is 10/10

I got the carne asada plate and he got the steak and shrimp fajitas. We also got the loca pupusa, bean and cheese pupusa, and the jalapeño and cheese pupusa. The loca and the jalapeño and cheese were amazing! We will definitely be back again. The carne asada plate was simple yet delicious. He said he really enjoyed his fajitas but the shrimp were a bit overcooked. Much to my surprise the beans and rice were epic. The rice was so fluffy and perfect and the beans had this delicious creamy texture and almost smoky flavor to them. So so good! The service was awesome and she was so patient with us trying to figure out what to order and how to pronounce it. I'm sure we will be back. The ambiance is really low key and casual. It gets a little sketchy in the parking lot at night so we will probably stick to the day time.

Quick Summary Freshly and hand-made pupusas were so good here! No frills but excellent service and great food at great prices! Lots of parking available Food- 5 stars Pupusa- tried the loca (includes everything), the ayote and queso and chicharon y queso. The pupusas are freshly made and are the star of the show. My favorite was the ayote and queso (squash and cheese) carne asada taco- really enjoyed the fresh tortillas here. the carne asada was good; would skip on the shrimp Yuca Frita con Chicharron- this was pretty good as well Service- 5 stars No frills spot but the waitresses were very attentative. Takes about 15 minutes to get the food ready, which is worth it because they make it from scratch Bottom Line Solid local spot for some authentic El Salvadorian food. The pupusas are fantastic!

A friend had told us about this spot and we decided to give it a try... and we were not disappointed! Once we placed our order, we could hear our pupusas being made. They were delicious and the cheese was delicious as well! We will definitely be back!

This place has been on our radar for a while now and we finally found the chance to stop in and give it a shot.. Small Salvadorian restraint with big flavored food. I started off with the asada burrito which was very very good. A little smaller than I would have liked but the flavor made up for the lack of size. Also gave the street tacos a shot. The tortilla looked like a baby papusa and was light and almost fluffy. The chips and salsa were also light and very flavorful with just a hint of heat. They make everything in house, the chips, papusas, tortillas and more. The waitress was patient and explained the menu items that we weren't familiar with. All in all was a great lunch! You can bet we will be back again!

This place is definitely worth a try. It's a small Salvadoran restaurant that offers both quick serve/take out and a full serve "sit down" option. We dined in and were not disappointed. The asada tacos were really good, with handmade tortillas which were thick and delicious. The pupusas were tasty. I recommend the Pupusa loca with a mix of everything in it. For me I think the highlight was the chicken tamale. It was a Salvadoran tamale which had a softer, moister consistency. I can't explain it, but do try it. I think they use banana leaves rather than corn husks because those are the only other ones I've tasted like this. Idk but so good!!! The service was good as well. I would definitely come back, and probably take some tamales to go!

Loved this place! Delicious pupusas & fried plantains. We enjoyed the pupusas mixta, fried plantains with beans & cream, and empanadas. Quick service too! My order was ready once I arrived 20 mins after placing it online. Will definitely be returning and telling my family and friends who love Salvadoran food to check this place out. P.s. no indoor seating, masks required, hand sanitizer is available, and a shield between you & the cashier register is present. Appreciate these steps for safety during Covid-19.

I had a craving for horchata de morro so I Yelp searched for my nearest pupusa spot and Su Casita Bakersfield came up. This spot isn't very flashy and it's in an unassuming shopping center/ strip mall. It's not the type of place you'd usually stumble on so lucky for you, you're reading this review. We arrived around 6:00 pm on Thursday and it wasn't very busy. There was plenty of seating available as there was only one other group. They have the option for take out orders too if you don't want to stay. You can even call ahead and just pick up. We were seated promptly and the server was ready to take our order so we ordered the horchata but needed more time for the food order. The horchatas came out and we were finally ready to order. Three pupusas and the mojarra frita to share. The horchata was so refreshing and delicious that I would've been happy just having that. Horchata de morro is different from the Mexican style that is usually just rice, cinnamon, and milk. This one has a blend of toasted seeds and nuts that gives the horchata a much richer flavor. It's also nice that it's dairy free. The pupusas were just as good as the best I've ever had. They had the perfect masa to filling ratio with plenty of melty grilled cheese that oozed out from the side. The curtido was really fresh and they served a generous portion. I also appreciated that the pupusas weren't greasy. The fish plate was also good. They serve it with a side of beans, rice, salad and fresh handmade tortillas. We asked for some crema on the side too and it went perfectly with the beans. The fish was cooked well but I felt it could have used some seasoning or sauce. One exciting thing about getting the whole fish is that it comes with two sides so just as you think you're done, there's a whole other portion when you flip it over! I enjoyed the experience overall and the staff was friendly and patient. I'll definitely be back next time I need my horchata fix.

Definetly satisfied my Pupusa craving tonight , if you're looking for some homestyle Pupusas freshly made Su Casita is the place to be. This place is nothing fancy but the Pupusas coming out this place are super delicious. I have a lot of Salvadorian friends and they definitely pointed me in the right direction. The Pupusas were nice and hot and the Curtido that accompanied them was on point. They were served with the traditional salsa Rojo that had a good flavor to it , and also had a side of the regular salsa which was delicious as well. The service is great the ladies are really friendly and it feel really homey when you step into the restaurant. They offer phone in orders and due grub hub and all the other delivery services too. On this occasion I had the mixta that has chicharon, frijoles and cheese and I also had the queso con loroco all absolutely delicious. The fried plantains looked delicious when looking at the menu on Yelp , on my next visit I'll give them a try and update my review. So do sleep on this place people good down and try the Pupusas for your self you won't be disappointed.

Agua de frutas is ways freh. Pupusas are light and fluffy, delicious! Some of the best I have ever had.

My Salvadorian ancestors would be disappointed in these.

Customer service is great but the waters were a letdown. I forgot what mine was called, but it did not look like the picture I had seen posted in yelp. The restroom was very clean and spacious. The music gave the establishment a great vibe. I ate a fish eye for the first time!!! Not a bad taste it's like nerve if you've ever had menudo. The fish was huge and juicy just full of flavor. The rice and especially the beans were very savory. Im not a big fan of popusas, it's just not my thing but these weren't bad and the cabbage topping was very well executed along with the sauce it comes with. So for the first time I have no complaints regarding the popusas toppings. The sauce they use for my land and sea plate was so delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly along with the shrimp. I would try this place again maybe ask for more chicharrón in my pupusa and less cheese, even though I did order my pupusa with easy cheese. The chips and salsa also tasted good. I only gave this place a 4 because of the aguas other than that food is great.

They have lunch specials I'm sure there good plates but let's be honest, I'm here for the pupusas $75 dollars later. I went home to eat and I must say again they were delicious Do I recommend them: sure Will I come back: maybe, unless they promote those pupusas for a special deal. Service all servers were very friendly Ambiance was decorated as Latin style restaurants 6/10
