On a calm Tuesday afternoon, I was really craving something to celebrate cinco de mayo. Thus, my partner and I found ourselves at Suavecito Birria & Tacos. This place was so awesome. It was just a window in the wall with a qr code to scan. Side note: prices on ubereats are the same as the price on their ordering system, so they don't have any extra mark up. Anyways, we had ordered the 24k California Burrito with birria and the Crispy Chicken + Cheese Taquitos. The burrito was so good. They do a nice thick layer of cheese as the base right on the tortilla then they absolutely load it with birria meat, avocado, tater tots, and orange sauce. It had a ton of flavor and though it was a little oily at the end, it was so delicious and rich. The taquitos were even better to me. They were so crispy and paired with sour cream and guacamole, they were genuinely the best I've ever had. Though you have to figure out where to eat it, the food here is so good and it makes sense why there are always so many people waiting in front for their orders.

Must try their strawberry lime agua Fresca! We really enjoyed the quesabirria tacos, consome was delicious. The guac is worth $10, the chips are thick and crispy. I really liked the shrimp burrito with mayacoba beans. I opted for the orange sauce and it was spicy & delicious.

Through a small, inconspicuous order/pickup window on the side of South Amphlett, you'll find perhaps one of the best birria in the Bay Area. With no sit-down dining area, this is a to-go or eat-in-car situation, which is totally fine by me. Order at the window or better yet, order online in advance of pulling up - orders can take 5-10 mins or longer when it's busy, but I assure you, the food is well worth the wait! The consommé is simultaneously rich and complex, while also not being too oily or heavy - you can taste the beef, chilies, spices, and dried herbs in each delicious sip! Unlike other birria joints where the meat can be a bit dry, here the meat is tender, juicy, and flavorful. Their quesabirria tacos ($17.95 for 3 + consommé + chili oil + pickled salad) are to die for - really delicious corn tortillas, crispy cheese skirt, tender, juicy beef, and melt cheese - the perfect vehicle for dipping into the consommé and tomatillo-avocado salsa that comes included. It's admittedly a bit messy to eat, but so worth it! If you haven't checked this place out yet and are a fan of birria, get down here asap! You won't regret it!

If you love birria and trying new things. Suavecito Birria & Tacos is the place to go. I tried the Birria Pizza and Birria Grilled Cheese. This was some of the best Birria I've ever had. There's no seating but the people were very helpful with the menu. Great place to try multiple things and share with friends. This is a great spot to take someone visiting the Bay Area. Good food makes good vibes.

I went to Suavecito Birria & Tacos a year ago and never got around to reviewing it, but recently ordered this for takeout. This is definitely a hole-in-the-wall spot, literally just a window to pick up your order, no seating. The food is okay. It's not bad, but nothing that stood stood out to me as exceptional. It's on the pricy side for what you get. I tried their salsas and thought the orange one was just okay; I preferred the red. Overall, it's a decent option if you're nearby and wanting birria, just nothing crazy enough for me to go out of my way for Their customers service was okay; last time I didn't know they had no seating so we ordered and waited around 20 mins. They do have street parking.

Wow! The Birria grilled cheese was to die for. My friend showed me this place and we split it for lunch and we were so full. The portions were huge and at a decent price. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the consume was perfect and not too salty. I definitely will be ordering from here again ans trying the birria pizza next!!

Hole in the wall gem that is take out only. You can pre order online and pick it up. The tacos are huge, juicy and so packed with flavor even by itself. Highly recommend!!

It was taco Tuesday and I haven't tried this spot out yet so here I am. I ordered the Quesabirria which comes with 3 tacos for $17.95. Lemme tell yall, these hit different! I really enjoyed the cheese pull and the consome was good to. This place is essentially a ghost kitchen. It's located in a lowkey sketch alleyway. You can order online and then pickup at their window. They also have a QR code at their pickup window in which you can use to place your order online. The only reason why I didn't give this a 5 star rating is because, the app never gave me a confirmation on when my order was completed, so I had to keep coming back to check in at the window. Anyways, try it out if you like. :)

Got a bunch of tacos! Al pastor taco- easily the best taco here! Carne asada taco - large quantity of real good quality beef. So flavorful!! Garlic prawn tacos - 4 prawns, but it wasn't as garlicky as I would've liked it to be. Chipotle chicken taco - it tasted good, but didn't really stand out. Good quality food, pricey but you pay for the quality! There was a line when ordering the food, so I recommend ordering online.

It's surprisingly hard to find a quesobirria taco place in the Peninsula, so we were pretty excited when we discovered Sauvecito! The place itself is a hole in the wall next to the 101 freeway in an area one wouldn't expect. There's no seating since it's a grab-and-go spot. Parking is street parking and generally easy to find. Each order of quesobirria tacos comes with 3 tacos, consomme, and some slaw. It's a bit pricey (almost $20) for 3 tacos and initially we were taken aback by the price. However, after eating it, we decided it's something worth treating ourselves to once in a while. It was so delicious and enough to share between 2 people for a snack or a light meal.

10/10 would definitely visit again This is literally a hole in a wall place next to freeway 101. Me and my boyfriend shared the 24k California burrito and it filled the 2 of us. That was surprising. The burrito is definitely worth the $20 price. It was huge and flavorful and they are very generous with the carne asada we chose. It's different from other Mexican places where they'd have some sauces on the side. This place directly puts it in the burrito so we didn't need to get our hands messy! Definitely would come back here to try it out again. If you feel it is sketch to order there, you can order ahead online and pick up as well!

First time here and it's a tiny little stall with a QR code that you can order from in person or online. I got the Quesabirria and my friend got the Suavecito Burrito with Beef Birria meat. She enjoyed her burrito. I thought the Quesabirria was very good and filling! The consome was a bit different than other consome that I've tried, but it was still good. The pickle cabbage on the side was fresh and a nice break from the Quesabirrias. They packaged everything really nice and neat and provided utensils and napkins as well. Make sure to come hungry because the portions are a good size! It's a little bit on the pricier side but food was good! There's only street parking too.

My favorite place for birria tacos. Even though we drove for about 20-30 minutes before eating, it was still really good. The tacos are loaded with plenty of meat and they provide a lot of birria sauce. Delicious!

Hi are the quesobirria tacos made out of goat meat?

Great question! Though the dish is traditionally made from goat, Suavecito uses beef for their birria.

It's a Mexican chain from AZ (popular I think, they have like 53K followers on Instagram), and they just opened multiple locations in Bay Area, so this time I decide to finally give it a try. I ordered the Tripa Mulitas, Torta, and Horchata drink, Mulitas was $7, Torta $14, and Horchata was $7. They're all delicious, I was actually shocked at the first bite because I didn't know Mexican food could be this great (like I ate at a lot of Mexican place before, but this place is just chef's kiss). You seriously have to try their torta!! It has grilled meat, cheese, avocado, lettuce and tomato, all packed in there. Together with their green sauce, red sauce and some of the onion & jalapeno salad, I'm good for the whole day. The flavors are just so authentic and hit the spot perfectly. I totally get why there is always a line now. They officially converted me into a regular from today! If you see a crowd, just jump in line, it's worth the wait.

I love El Sinaloense for two things , ceviche and molcajete, which is a mixed grill type of Mexican dish named for the three footed volcanic rock vessel that it is cooked in. This was a molcajete day, despite the fact that I had no one to share the dish with. El Sinaloense has a couple of different versions, with a mix of seafood and meats, but the one I ordered today was their special with charred whole green onions, nuggets of tender roasted cactus ( nopals) as well as shrimp, chicken and shrimp. The molcajete sauce is what makes it special and cheese is added to the dish at the end. It is served with homemade corn and flour tortillas and a side ( very small portion relative to size of the main course, which easily feeds two or even three. That is correct, instead of a small portion of quality protein accompanied by a ton of beans and rice, El Sinaloense loads you up with the expensive, flavorful stuff, using the side plate as an accompaniment as it should be.. and BRAVO for that. At $30.95, for a shared entree this is such a cheap eat, especially when given the quality of the meat and shrimp. Today I sat outside and Mr Cesar took such good care of me. As an aside ( which I specialize in, mais of course ) it is worth noting that this lively establishment seems to be a World Cup mecca, for locals, with Happy Hour specials during games. Anyhow my molcajete arrived sizzling ( also worth nothing that this dish finishes cooking table-side due to it's vessel and is optimally consumed immediately because of the risk of overcooking as it sits. I made two gorgeous soft tacos, one steak and shrimp and one chicken and steak, each with a charred onion, lots of cactus and cheese and a small dollop of guacamole. They were filling and each ingredient sung. I will say that the steak had been rendered a tougher texture by the time I got to the second beautifully wrapped package. Taking my cue from this I opted to consume the rest if the shrimp, which were still perfectly cooked, rather than stuff another tortilla. Julius Cesar took care of bringing me a box for my considerable ( 2/3 of the molcajete contents) and an iced tea to go cup. Paying through the InKind app is seamless, just let your server know and in the case if this establishment, note the name of your server specifically. My points covered all but gratuity and my boys can stretch the leftovers with beans and cheese and make some killer nachos to watch World Cup tonight. 10 stars as a bang for buck- this cost me $7, but 4-+ because that 5th star is still elusive. That being said, I have never had anything but a stellar meal here and although today was a solo dining experience, El Sinaloense's atmosphere and drinks lend itself to a large group experience.
