Since the MLB Allstar game is in Philly this year I was in the mood for a Philly cheesesteak. Having been to Dave's, Murray's in a hurray, and Philly connection i settled on sub of subs. Even though I got mine to go the service was fast and friendly. The prices are steep when you get combos or add ons. The menu is varied and offer a bulgogi cheesesteak too. As for the regular cheesesteak I had it was excellent! I The bread, cheese onions and mushrooms blended together scrumptiously. I can recommend Sub of Subs for great cheesesteaks.Ambiance inside is cozy with wooden booths and ac at a good temp.

    More cheese than meat

I wanted to like this place, but the value just isn't there for the sandwiches. I ordered a turkey sub with American cheese, and to say it was light on the meat is an understatement. I paid extra for double meat. There were maybe 2 or 3 paper-thin slices of turkey on the entire roll and there was literally more cheese than meat. It felt like I was eating a bread and cheese sandwich rather than the turkey sub I paid for. For a shop with "Sub" in the name, the execution on their namesake item is unacceptable. The only saving grace was the spicy teriyaki wings. They were well-cooked and the flavor was actually delicious. If you're coming here, stick to the wings and skip the subs entirely until they learn how to properly portion their sandwiches.

Sub of subs. Subpar. I orded ham and egg sandwich expecting, since it is a sub shop, it would be on sub bread. No. Silly me. They slapped some stuff on soggy wheat bread and called it a day. They direct you to some small print that justifies them giving you slop and making you pay for it. Do not buy from them. Their motto. The food was legal. We served you.

I had a ham and cheese sandwich and it was very good. The bread tasted really nice and was warm.

Door Dashed a Philly and it looks so yummy! Bread is fresh an food is hot! Loved how the meat is not huge strips! Flavorful and portions were PERFECT!

    Dry

Had this today and this was DISGUSTING!!! The fries was over seasoned with waaaay to much seasoning salt and this is the DRYEST sandwich that I ever had. The packaged sandwiches at QuickTrip taste better than this! We will not be going back!

Club hoagie and fries were awesome. Fresh toppings and bread was slightly toasted. Staff friendly as well. I will be back.

This isn't my first time getting Be Banh Mi, but my first time at this location. I ordered to go and picked up via DoorDash. Unfortunately, some choices run out close to the end of the day, but the sandwiches were still good. This particular location has also sugarcane juice and you can get it without flavorings. I had ordered a bunch of options and ultimately, this place is ok to me. Don't get me wrong, their ingredients are fresh for sure, but the flavors were just ok to me. Some sandwiches were surprisingly spicy because of the jalepeno which was no bueno for my kids who are spice virgins. I thought I had ordered non-spicy options. Again, lots of banh mi shops in the area to try. Be Banh Mi was solid.

The more adventurous eaters will go for the bun bo hue because there is a lot more complexity to it. And then you have the banh mi. A marriage of traditional Viet flavors mingled w/ the French flair of the baguette but with Be Banh Mi, there is an additional twist that I think is just ingenious. First off, you will fight for parking so bite the bullet and walk Second the interior. One of the most spacious, under used spaces ever to be used for a sit down/take out banh mi joint. They seat roughly 20 people while the middle section is primarily used to start a line queue. The service. It's the self-service kiosk where you order and they call you by your receipt number so there's no bussing or wait staff. Now for the for banh mi. It's not that it's anything necessarily special. It's a banh mi. Your proto-typical Vietnamese ingredients from grilled pork (what I got!!!) to BBQ pork to crispy pork belly and the works! The ingredients are one in same with any place that specializes in banh mis. What sets this place apart is that they offer the stick version of the traditional banh mi. Yes!!!! The stick version. Banh mi is traditionally served in a toasted buttered French baguette loaf that acts like a submarine sandwich open hot dog bun style then all the ingredients are shoved in the opening then wrapped up for you to open and enjoy. The stick version however is a long, thin, yet equally buttery, flaky, soft bun but it's almost a foot long and thin but they don't skimp on the flavors of the banh mi! That's what makes this place so interesting and worth visiting time and time again. Plus the price is so affordable for a banh mi. The traditional banh mi's run you at $6 per sandwich. The stick version runs you at $5. Between the two versions, you're looking at roughly a $12-$14 with tax. It's such a fantastic deal for something as filling as banh mi can be and between the two versions of banh mi, you will be satisfied! Highly recommend for a good banh mi!

There are classic variations of your standard burger, such as mushroom and Swiss and Texas BBQ. If you want fries or another side, you have to pay a little bit extra. From a taste standpoint, I would rate this as an average burger. Great size, okay taste. Also, I'll have to admit that I'm not the biggest hockey fan.
