We've been here several times now and the food never disappoints! I got the grilled Italian and my husband tried their cheesy cheese steak. Everything was amazing and now he says he'll have to order it every time! I'm excited to try even more things on the menu. I can't give this enough stars. It was a bit more expensive than chain sub shops, but inflation and the quality, I still feel it was 125% worth every penny. Upon walking in, we received the warmest welcome. They explained we had never been here prior. They explained how they fresh bale all their bread. Everything is grilled fresh and made to order as well. Three people were working on the grills in the back, taking walk-ins and ample call-in orders. It smelled amazing too. I got the steak and cheese, and it was delicious. Percent amount of Mayo and Dijon too. He got the Ruben with extra meat and enjoyed it too. The subs come in two sizes. We both got the small and ate only a half of our subs. They were so filling. We split an order of onion petals which needed a bit of salt but otherwise were perfection. They served it with a horseradish sauce, but we used the ranch for ours. Their soft drinks are all bottles and cans. They also sold fresh-made brownies that were my best in years. For sure, grab one if you stop in. Both subs, one extra meat, an order of onion petals, a canned coke, and two brownies, were 27.00 and some change total. In Newton Falls for a track invitational, and we came upon Sub Stop. ALL their signature subs sound so delicious! We got a chicken BBQ, a chicken cordon bleu and a chicken parm. They came out hot and smelled sooo delicious! All three of us loved our subs. We got 8-inch subs and they were more than enough! We also grabbed a couple shareable sides. My favorite was the fried portobello mushrooms with homemade ranch. They were absolutely AMAZING! We enjoyed talking with the girl taking orders was well. She made some great recommendations! All their sandwiches can be a sub, a wrap or a salad. We chose subs this time, but hoping to come back and try some more options. Wish we had taken photos! read more

Sub Stop is a Must Stop if you're hungry for some really good sandwiches! We got a regular Philly Cheesesteak and a Rueben. Both were hot sandwiches with gooey melty cheese served open face that were easily folded into a top and bottom toasted French roll. The cheesesteak came with sautéed onions and peppers with provolone cheese melted on top. The Rueben came with sauerkraut, 1000 Island dressing and melted Swiss on top. We also got the onion petals as a side dish. Onion Petals were well breaded and fried to a nice golden crisp. Onions were mildly and not overbearing in flavor. Came with a horseradish/1000 Island dipping sauce that was strong so a little dip went a long way. Service was very friendly and attentive and the food was prepared and ready pretty quickly. One of the best Reuben sandwiches I've ever had. Definitely worth the slight detour if traveling on the I 80. read more

When this place first opened the food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted perfect and was extremely fresh. All the chicken tasted like salt and pepper chicken that I would of made here at home on my stove. The bread was the best part, It was some of the best Italian bread I have ever had. They also really packed the subs full of meat! It was a very generous amount. Fast forward over 50 subs and a few months later and the food has completely changed. The chicken went from being perfection to being extremely dry, the bread went from the best I have ever had to being stale and chewy, and the bacon went from very good to be being barely cooked. And the amount of meat they put on the subs now is just so small I honestly couldn't believe it. Even asking for double meat I got less meat then a regular sub had when the place first opened. The owners really need to take a step back and figure out why the food when downhill so fast. I used to stop in here every other day too. read more

Ordered 5 sandwich/wrap items. The BLT wrap has uncooked bacon on it. Asked for it to be cooked longer and was told "everything comes precooked". Asked for a refund for it and was told they would remake the wrap, but couldnt cook the bacon any more. Got the other food home and it was not good at all. The buffalo chicken wrap was soggy and super chewey "precooked" chicken. Threw everything away from my familys dinner and ordered pizza. read more

These subs are really something else. They are made with TLC (tender loving care), the staff is wonderful, and the subs just absolutely enrich your tastebuds. I tried this place for the first time today. First, NO ONE uses gloves! I didn't even see that gloves were available. This is disgusting, I almost left when I saw that but decided I would try it. Second, they charge $0.79 for any card that you use. This is ILLEGAL! Businesses are allowed to charge visa and MasterCard CREDIT CARDS, no one is allowed to charge ANY debit card or any other type of card. And when I said something they blew me off and got an attitude. Lastly, my food had at least 4 hairs in it! When we took it back and asked for a refund, they said "we can remake it, we don't put hair on every sub." Just ridiculous. I will never go back to this place, I hope the health department is alerted to their awful practices. This is sad because it seemed like it was going to be a great addition to our small town. Went here tonight to get subs for the family since I was in town and saw this as a recently opened business. I like to support local and remember when this locations was a Sandwich Factory in the 90's. It's been a lot since then but nice to see another sandwich option in Newton Falls besides Subway again. I ordered 3 Italian Subs along with a family order of chips and an order the fried portobello mushrooms. They offer a 7" and 11" option for their subs and suggest them to be grilled. I personally prefer a cold Italian Sub and they were fine not grilling them. The bread was excellent and probably my favorite part. The meats were fresh and thick cut along with the veggies. The Italian dressing wasn't anything special but overall, I was really impressed with the Sub. That bread is incredible! I'd really like to try some of their other options like the Reuben or Cheesesteak. The fried portobello mushrooms were pretty good too but kind of on the smaller portion side for price. I wish I could tell you more about the homemade chips but when I got home I discovered that they gave me French fries instead. Before anyone says anything, they offer chips or fries. At first I though maybe they call their fries chips but looked back at the menu and they are both options. The fries were okay. Pretty average. I know that they have just opened up so there will be some growing pains so I'm not worried about the mishap. The service was very friend and quick tonight. It looked like they were definitely training their workers and everyone was having fun. Prices were fair with the 11" options being $8.99 and 7" $5.99. Sub Stop is a solid choice a great option for my hometown. I wish them the best of luck in the future and I'll be sure to stop back when I visit. read more
