I truly cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. It's truly the definition of family atmosphere with down home Greek/Italian comfort food. Amazing portions as well at impeccable prices even with the rising rates of eating out. Came last night for 18.99 got the veal (real veal not the processed patty) parm with spaghetti, served with an amazing side salad [their strawberry vinaigrette is to die for ;) ] and I left with a few meals still to go from the serving portion. Also hands down the best hot pepper in the NE region!!!!

I hope you can see this is at least an inch thick.

Right across the street from my favorite Texican restaurant,Mi Amigo, is my newest favoritest all you can eat prime rib restaurant. On wedsdays from 3pm to close at 9pm, they have a prime rib buffet. The prime rib was perfect for me, rare inside, crusty outside. What used to be called "Pittsburgh rare". Absolutely delicious, tender, moist, and great beef flavor. And it is NOT some cheap cut like eye of round being passed off as prime rib. It is real, served with au jus, mainly lean but just enough fat for flavor, prime rib. And the piece as you can tell from my picture, is honking big! If you don't finish that first piece they will pack it up and let you take it home. Which is only fair. But if you want to meat yourself to death (and who hasn't dreamt of that every now and then?) it is meat city and I'm the mayor. Mayor McMeat. They have daily lunch buffet specials as well. And they have great sides on the buffet, like the best homemade mashed potatoes and broccoli cheese rice I have EVER had out. This place is worth the drive. Had a nice trade going on when I got there with the wifey at 6pm. The wait staff was pretty epic. I mean, when I overtip and I am at a buffet, they were doing something right. And the owner and his wife, or owner and her husband, or however that combo has it worked out, were great, funny, smiley happy. Gonna go back, just because they have veal parm. And if they do that as well as they do the prime rib, I just cut my trips to Boardman and Austintown by half.

Amazing food but I can't give buffet food 5 stars. Everything went well, in a lPonderosa Buffet way.

Shared the crab cake and red wine mussels. Both are excellent. I went for a seasonal sea bass which was grilled to golden brown, seasoned perfectly. Stuffed shrimps got a very nice comments. Strawberry salmon looked very interesting. Our waitress was really attentive and made sure we were all taken care of. Off the hook is on my list for the next visit

Everyone was satisfied about the meal. It was quite pricey, which was expected when we walked in because of the ambiance. So why only 3 stars? I live in Las Vegas and my guy lives in this area (long distance). Well, we were with friends that my guy hadn't spent time with in a while, and this was my first time meeting them. Nice double date! 3 out of 4 of us got multiple drinks and we were enjoying our dinner. We got dessert too. The manager checked on us once. We probably stayed about 20ish minutes after desert while talking and finishing drinks. We got up and used the restroom, and saw the mgr in there. We heard her say that our table "finally decided to leave." Very unprofessional when you are sharing the same restroom as customers to then be talking about them. I'd say the same thing had she not been talking about us but another table. I have 20+ years in the hospitality industry and that rubbed me the wrong way. Food wasn't good enough to come back, so this is a place that relies on ambience and service, which we'd come back for if the service were great...be hospitable. The server was knowledgeable and kind; it's too bad the manager couldn't keep her thoughts about well paying, well tipping customers to an area where customers couldn't overhear.

My boyfriend and I weren't really into the King Cajun Seafood Special Sauce. I usually go for house special sauces since they're usually good, but this one just didn't hit the spot. We ordered the hot spice level, but it wasn't spicy at all, and the sauce had this creamy taste--maybe they added flour or cornstarch to thicken it? I prefer my seafood boil sauce to be zesty and spicy. We ended up ordering a side of Cajun garlic butter sauce instead, and that was way better in my opinion. I also wish I had asked for a side of lemon slices (my bad), it would've made the flavors pop more with some extra zest and tang. One thing I really liked about the restaurant was that their seafood sizes were enormous! The shrimp and crawfish were jumbo-sized, and the Dungeness crab was packed with meat. Oh, and a heads up, when we ordered extra corn, we thought it would be three cut pieces, but I think it was actually three whole corn cut into thirds. So yeah, no need to order extra corn unless you really love it. We ended up leaving with a whole bag of corn. I guess that will be my lunch and dinner for tomorrow.

I was made aware that the base of the Aplos was very herbal and tart. The first one brought to me was very tart. Very, very tart. I was not a fan, my dad was going to drink it, our waitress: Deja noticed and offered to have it remade. I accepted, the bartender came out to drop it off and explained how she changed it up. She stood by me and waited until I tried it. A bit much, it was better. The tartness was only at the end for a brief moment. They didn't have a specific gluten free menu, but Deja did tell us what was naturally gluten free and/or could be modified. A lot of the food is made in house. A lot of it looked appealing, but they had gluten free noodles that were not made in house. So I went with a trusted filet mignon cooked medium. The demi glace was an excellent touch. The potatoes were pretty good. The broccolini wasn't what I was hoping for. My parents dishes were much larger. Leftovers were had and enjoyed on a second day. I would maybe try the short ribs next time we would go. The building is very rustic and decorative. The bathroom is upstairs; an elevator is present is needed. A very interesting place. Staff and kitchen very accommodating. The prices are high for the amount you're given. Would love some in house pasta that is gluten free with an in house sauce. I was there primarily for the company. Not my favorite spot. I would be willing to go again.
