a plate of food with macaroni and cheese
    Megan P.

Finally after living her two years and hearing how amazing their Mac and cheese was made it over here yesterday evening. I ordered the veal cutlet dinner which is served with gravy and I got the Mac and cheese, along with a side of hot peppers in oil and garlic bread. Which is not on the menu and subject to availability. I also got as my second side a house salad with Italian which was really delicious. It was very tasty! Not too much breading, didn't taste oily, gravy was Rick and smoky, and the Mac and cheese was everything I wished it could be. He got the veal Parmesan with spaghetti (all red sauce in the side) and a house salad with ranch and garlic bread. It was also cooked perfectly and the melted provolone was done just right not burnt. The sauce was very acidic but tasted great. I would have been anted mine on the side too because I am sensitive to citrus and acid based foods. But sparingly still delicious. The hot peppers were outstanding a top the garlic bread which rival any hot peppers in oil I've had in the area. Not spicy at all but still very flavorful and enjoyable. We got the apple and blackberry pie to go and 2 French toast muffins. I was not a fan of the apple pie because it was a bit tart for me but he thought the blackberry was delicious. Very impressed with the 50's feel, warm environment, and incredible prices for the quality and quantity of food you are served. Highly recommend.

Half a grilled chicken wrap and fries

Nice hometown diner vibes. The staff was friendly and the service was very quick. I went for lunch and had the grilled chicken wrap which was amazing!! Everything was reasonably priced and I will be back when I'm in the area.

    Mama's cheeseburger.

My Mom and Dad swear by this place. Hometown cooking at a reasonable price and family setting. You won't be disappointed.

Thick slices of beets dressed with Gorgonzola (or maybe bleu cheese) slivered toasted almonds over fresh greens. I'm glad I made the cohort get his own. My seafood pasta was phenomenal. They ranged from sweet to boozy. It was a nice variety that offered something for everyone. For dinner I tried the crab crusted salmon. It was a good pairing, but the salmon without the crab left something to be desired. The Chophouse offers a vegan/vegetarian menu, but you do have to ask for it. One of the featured items on that menu was the ratatouille. It was fantastic and I would certainly recommend it. For sides I greatly enjoyed the Caesar salad, which was not too fishy, and the whipped Yukons were a delight. Large parties can be a challenge, but regardless I found the service to be a bit inconsistent. Though always friendly, we had to remind our server of items that we had asked for on more than one occasion. Near the end of the meal it seemed that the bussers were pushing for us to wrap things up and get out, despite not having been there for a terribly long time. We were asked multiple times if certain items could be cleared while we were still eating them. They just didn't seem to have a good feel for this. There certainly were some strong dishes and I wouldn't hesitate to go again, though it would be on a special occasion as they are certainly not cheap.

When we got to the counter to order, the two ladies there both greeted us, although one was taking someone else's order. When my mom and I said we were gluten free, she had every answer we needed. Sauces, putting hush puppies on the side, no bread. Excellent job! We would have sat outside, but all of those tables were filled. We did get a table inside for the four of us. Packed inside too. They brought our food out to us when it was ready. With it being packed for Father's Day, 20-25 minutes wasn't that bad. The two sandwich eaters devoured their sandwiches and sides. The two meat platter had just the right amount of proteins and sides. Pulled pork is often my go to, but the brisket was divine on Sunday! I didn't know there were at least four kinds of beans available in the side but yum! The Green beans were solid, cooked in/with butter. Upon finishing our delicious lunch we went across the parking lot to the creamery. They had vegan options so I got one vanilla and one chocolate. The cookies and cream wasn't gluten free so I am unable to comment on that vegan option. Very smooth. An awesome finish to an excellent Father's Day lunch. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Great food. Your shoes stick and make noise the whole walk to your seat. They were clean, but somethin ain't right! Table Popcorn was good, definitely see how it works to get your stomach ready by grazing on a snack! Couldn't pinpoint the seasoning but it wasn't bad. Fried Dumplings, half spicy half mild. My goodness! My lips/gums were burning from the spice BUT the flavor was extraordinary and enjoyable despite my sensitivities LOL. The mild ones were perfection and flavors meshed well together. BEST CHICKEN & FRIES EVER! Kickin Bourbon (maybe SBR's?) were very fun and exciting on the palate. Definitely have that bourbon taste present and spice level was beginner friendly. The Soy Garlic were also delicious, it seems this was the "mild" sauce that was on the Fried Dumplings per my tastebuds' thoughts. Parmesan Truffle Fries had that perfect crispy thin outer shell and meaty inner potato heaven. Truffle level was satisfactory and not lacking (but could always do more). Food was fresh, table water was cold (thankfully) with an orange slice, & employees friendly. I did sit for about 10-15 minutes not eating anything due to needing a box and I had to initiate asking for one instead of it being offered. I love being left alone to eat, but don't forget about me! I will be back for sure.

To our surprise the wait staff was very attentive keeping our drinks refilled, they never ran empty, when it came to our appetizer and our food they were always asking how it was, if we needed anything else. the wait staff are amazing and if not for just the food being great we would definitely dine here again. The food was immaculate, we had the deep fried pickles appetizer and I will tell you straight from the heart I've never had fried pickles as delicious as these were, not even Quaker Steak has pickles this delicious. 10/10 We each ordered the Philly cheesesteak, hers with the garlic aoli and mine without, and I have to say we were both surprised at how delicious, savory, and tender the steak was. This is the type of dining experience we have expected but have never gotten to witness. Barrel 33 has really out done themselves. The only problem I had and I'm sure my wife probably had was the Ambiance, the music was great, but the lighting was terrible it was difficult to read the menus and I was almost at the point where I was going to turn on the flashlight on my phone to read what was available but it's nothing to complain about, these old tired eyes just don't see very well anymore and it's not their fault. yes I would have liked a little more light to see, but I get it, the feel they were going for, which makes the overall dining experience enjoyable and pleasant. Thank you Barrel 33 for a great evening out with my babydoll. we will definitely visit again.

The service is always impeccable. You never have to beg for anything. The servers are well trained. They come around regularly to fill drinks and genuinely care if you're having a good experience. Now to the food. They have a fantastic menu so you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My family and I have tried all kinds of things and loved them. It's our go to for celebrations. We started off with the fried artichokes which were crispy and delicious. They reminded us of the ones we had in Rome last year. My mom and I had the lemon pasta with shrimp. It was unbelievably good. You got tons of shrimp and the pasta was soft and melted in your mouth with the lemon. My husband loved his wedding soup and chicken Milanese. His family is Italian so he's hard on chicken cutlets. He said it was crispy and moist. It looked amazing but I didn't snap a photo since I was hungry. My cousin loved her eggplant Parmesan. She's also Italian and has been to Italy several times. That's her go to dish. It's always cooked perfectly. My other cousins got spaghetti and meatballs which they loved. The meatballs are huge and perfectly cooked. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you love Italian and know what good pasta is supposed to taste like, go to Leo's.
