Gas is pricey for area but comprable to nations gas prices. No restrooms. Dont think about relieving yourself outside there is an electric fence, poorly labeled. They have alpacas and donkeys which are cute however, i dont know if they have enough room to roam. If you stop give the animals some love they probably need it! read more

Dang this gas station owner is rude!!! I walk in and she's already speaking to me like I burned her house down. I needed a trash can for a water bottle and she said there was none and not to throw it in the bathroom trash either, as I'm leaving she actually stops me to ask what I did with my bottle, which I showed her was in my pocket. A cute, charming little stop in "the middle of nowhere " stumbled across it on a trip to visit my parents and it will now be a must stop location any time I make this drive. The owner was very nice and the little critters (two donkeys and two alpacas) our front were so excited to get their critter pellets (only $0.25) each serving! I also appreciate the sings they had hanging letting visitors know it is cruel to feed the animals anything except their designated treats. Little places like this bring happiness. When we got off at this stop to get gas, I was really excited. Signs boasted an alpaca farm, but what we pulled up to was hardly such. The sheep and alpaca had a tiny pen covered in their feces with a small (almost nonexistent) area for shade. It was upwards of 90 degrees. The alpaca was sprawled out on the ground, not even lifting its head to the people presenting it with food. I can't say that I know this place's methods of treatment for these animals. I'd like to think that they go back to a farm in the evening, but what I saw was so disheartening and sad. read more

THIS IS ANIMAL ABUSE. I am not the first to point this out! There are some miniature donkeys and alpacas in a small, fenced pen that has only dry dirt on the ground with a doghouse-like structure that offers the only shade in this hot Idahoan desert (it looks like it fits only one donkey).The animals look so depressed and lackluster, and must be incredibly overheated. I feel like this is animal cruelty and they should be moved to a larger area with at least more shade and water! What is the point in keeping these animals here if no one comes to this gas station with the terrible reviews anyway?? It's a quaint, little store where my kids got to feed alpacas and donkeys in the middle of a very long road trip. The animals had shade they could go to if needed and appeared fine. The store clerk was extremely nice and friendly. There are no bathrooms, which it states on a sign outside the store, so don't stop here if that's what you're stopping for. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the gas prices were so high. But that's the supply and demand model, so they're making it work for them. Horrible! Do not stop here! They had severely over priced gas (3.09 a gallon), when we had been in twin falls earlier and it was almost 60 cents cheaper. Also when we asked about restrooms we were told they had no restrooms for customers to use and that we would have to stop at the public restroom about 10 miles up the road! BE VERY CAREFUL - I purchased 10 gal of Diesel here on July 23, 2021. 60 miles down the road my BMW X3 diesel was dead on the side of the road from bad diesel. It took a $6,900 repair bill and 2 weeks before the car would run again. Owner needs to clean out his tanks, buy better diesel or quite trying to stretch it. TLDR: Owner doesn't deserve to have a gas station, gives Idahoans a bad name. Stay away, you are better off hailing someone from the side of the road for gas. The only reviews that indicate this is a place worth stopping at seem to be ones that never got the displeasure of interacting with anyone who works here. Swung by this gas station on a road trip out east. I pulled around the island of pumps and then parked slightly away from the building & animal pen, unable to see any prices or even into the inside of the building -- all of the windows appeared to be really dark or blacked out, with no one inside as far as we could tell. As soon as we got out of the car to stretch our legs, the owner pops out of the inside of the store and started yelling at us, claiming that he saw that we were driving too quickly and told us to leave. Less than ten seconds later, he popped back out and yelled 'I've already told you three times now. You need to leave!' (this was his second time telling us in the span of 20 seconds). We found his demeanor to be very rude, unwarranted, and disconcerting, seeing as to get rid of us with unreasonable expediency without hearing us out or giving us a moment to get our bearings to get back on the road. We thought the altercation was so unnerving that we decided to dial 911, unaware that he was just some rude hermit who works at a dust-bin of a gas station. We honestly thought he might not have worked there and was attempting to shoo us away to conceal evidence of a crime. The 911 operator said that this wasn't the first time they've received such a call about this gas station (go figure, read for yourself some of the other reviews), and said they'd dispatch another unit to check it out. If you're reading this, odds are you've probably already interacted with this guy or someone else who works at this "establishment", and it's probably too late for you to decide to pass it up. If not and you are thinking about stopping here, think again. Seriously, stay away. Find somewhere else further down the road to give your business to, or take your chances with needing to hail someone on the side of the road for help. So glad we stopped in to explore this hidden gem. While the proprietor was God knows where writing snarky replies to his previous customers' Yelp reviews, our ten year old was able to spend some quality time riding the llama. The fleas hosed off OK and he only got bit once which is a "win" in our book. The several hours we spent waiting for service without internet access brought us closer to one another and to a state of spiritual awakening. I now consider the $263.23 we ultimately spent on 15 gallons of watered-down leaded fuel and stale Cheetos to constitute a charitable donation. It was truly refreshing to re-experience a road-side gas station the way I remember them from the early 70s. I was able to get a Tab cola and snacks with actual trans-fats. The only thing better than the service and the food was the smell of all that yellow lead-based paint baking in the sun. Just be careful not to let your kids or your pets play too close to those big white tanks out front or they'll come back coated with the oil that's seeping from the base. We found that out the hard way. But it's nice to frequent a business that is not burdened by "laws" or wasteful government regulation. read more

This place saved me! It was closed on the Sunday I drove west on I-84, down to my last gallon. I'd been good about filling up when half empty all the way from Austin, but when I hit Salt Lake I had a false sense of security. After I crossed the Idaho border....NO FLIPPING GAS STATIONS. I pulled off at this exit, praying I could use my phone GPS to find an open gas station. I sat in the empty parking lot of the unmanned station, staring at the animals in the pens out front, and saw the sign "Welcome to the Middle of Nowhere." No kidding. Then suddenly I had an inspiration...those pumps were turned on! I bet my credit card would work! So I tried it, and it DID. Yes, the price was $3.50 a gallon. So what? The place was closed when we stopped to see the alpaca, burros, and sheep, so I can't comment on service or anything. The animals were friendly enough. They were completely out of water, though, and kept putting their heads into the water bucket looking for something to drink. On a motorcycle trip from Lewiston, Idaho to El Paso , Texas! Stopped for gas as I was almost empty! Thank goodness this station was here in the middle of. Nowhere! But, got home and was reviewing my credit card bill expenses for the trip! Paid $17.00 for gas???? App. 4 gallons??? The whole rest of the trip I only paid at most $12.00???? This store participates in animal cruelty. Little lamb outside has no water, no shade, and it's 95 degrees outside. he was foaming at the mouth due to hydration when we were there.
