So they either give your things to someone else or it ends up in a "lost an found" category I've only recovered one t-shirt in 2 1/2 years and today someone has taken a Christmas washcloth from my sock drawer without asking me or gone to the showeroom to use to clean up my roommate and left it on the handicapped bar in the bathroom. Now they will say I was sleeping and they didn't want to wake me, or because they know I would have told them to go to the shower room for a company towel. All white towels washcloths and hand towels are the property of Oakview. My point is thes things cost me money and there needs to be a more organized system in place to return property to the patient/residents and they after 2 1/2 years living here I still run out of my pain and muscle relaxers(at least 5 time) perhaps this is just the Healthcare system that we have in Florid, and it's failing.

Watching my husband…read moresuffer and be in constant agony this entire summer under your care has been heartbreaking and unbearable to watch. ALL because CYA is more important to you than a person's well being. Because people are overdosing on fentanyl on the streets, you doctors are too afraid to give prescriptions of medicine that will actually help to the people who need it most. My husband was in a car accident, hit from behind and his MRI proves he has suffered multiple herniated disks in his neck and back. Surgery has to happen. BUT in the meantime, you give NO pain medication for this man!? Pardon me, Gabbapentin was your suggestion. I am here to tell you I have not seen any relief from this medication. In fact, the nerve pain is so bad he tells me that his arm hurts worse than his neck at times. He cannot sleep, I have not seen him sleep for more than 2 hours at a time since this accident because of the pain. He's constantly taking baths and falling asleep in the bath because it's the only way to get any relief. Sleeping in bathwater!! Having to work during the day (which, involves a lot of driving) Half awake everyday. Naturally he's on edge, has little patience and is basically in survival mode. Looking into his eyes are so sad these days. He is so miserable! It is absolutely heart wrenching to watch and not be able to help. I think to myself if you, Dr. Powell, had a spouse going through this you would in no way allow this to happen to them. To suffer so unnecessarily like this. Why does my spouse have to suffer? He has never abused pain medication. Ive been married to him for over twenty years and cannot remember a time he's ever even needed or taken it! He obviously has pain, you can see it on the MRI and surgery is being scheduled. Why would you not prescribe this man some pain medication in the interim??? He cannot have surgery any faster than it can be scheduled because if he could, he'd have it done today, he's in so much pain! We are not a third world country, we have access to medicine and this seems absolutely inhumane to me. Pain medicine is not good long term, but in the short term can make all the difference. Even as far as a person taking their own life over being in constant pain. Shame on you, the program you have Tony Crafts on is NOT "managing his pain" one iota!!! I hope this message will cause you to reflect on your choices and perhaps compel you to put yourself in your patient's shoes and consider that their days matter too. As someone with a diagnosed, painful condition, your care team has a moral and ethical obligation to help.

This is one of the worst nursing homes I have ever been to! The staff often ignore or talk down to…read morethe patients. They leave the patients without changing them for hours- even if you beg them to please make your soiled family a priority! All of the head nurses are not only rude but super short with you! On many occasions the lift equipment hasn't been properly charged which leads to your elders being left unchanged for a minimum of two extra hours! If leaving zero stars was an option trust that that would have been selected! There is no care at this facility at all! I have seen others sit at dinner for several days and not receive their food or others being forgotten to be fed.. we are in the transition of switching facilities for sooo many reasons but hands down I hate leaving my family there out of fear that without my care they will be mistreated or forgotten

My provider is Sunny and she's exactly that, Sunny. I'm sure she gets that a lot! But it's true. When you're struggling with mental health as badly as most people are who get to the point of needing TMS, it can mean the world to have somebody that accepts you, talks to you like a normal human, and lets you know you're okay and not broken. TMS has been so helpful in helping me to continue with life and accomplish the "little" things that others complete with ease. I'm able to do the dishes more frequently now, journal, meditate better, etc. The people reading this who think any of this is silly -- it's not for you, then! But for the people reading this and being like wow, this relates to me, please check this place out. You can also see if they accept your insurance. You deserve to feel freedom.

I'm sorry but your the face of the business. You are the first and last person patients see. They are often confused and seem to be lost. This is probably the 3rd problem I've had this year. Fire these women and get a monkey in there to do a better job. Their job isn't that hard. I plan on going up there Monday and telling them in person how terrible they are. This rant will also be followed up with a BBB complaint stating my specific complaints.
