We had reservations for 2 nights. I'll say you get what you pay for, so this place had a lower price point than other places, but if I were needing a hotel here again I'd suck it up and spring for something else I think. The bed was good (although there was some kind of crumbs on the sheets)--made me scan for bedbugs but didn't see evidence of that and otherwise the room seemed clean enough and ours did not smell like smoke. No breakfast but maybe I was mistaken--there was a little coffee pot and one mug, no coffee. We asked for another mug and were first told there weren't any, then they brought one, but the coffee pot was broken anyway. Our room was right by the desk so it was easy to request a roll of tp as soon as we got there, and the desk clerk was very nice. At the same time we also requested a blanket because the room was about 50 degrees when we checked in, which she also provided. Somehow we got an accessible room, which was interesting, with walk-in shower. The light fixture at the entry had no fixture, not a big deal, but that kind of run-down. Again, the bed was good!

Don't stay here. Horrible service, dirty rooms and unprofessional Assistant Mgr, Wendy and General Mgr, Becky. Spend your money somewhere you are valued as a paying customer.

The lobby boasts an enormous period-correct mosaic tile floor in earth tones. There's quite a lot of art ranging from kitsch to bronzes in the classical vein. Our suite had four rooms: a bedroom, a living room, a dining room with a sink/cabinets, and an armoire, and a bathroom. The decor is professional in a style you might call rural Americana but without quilts. Most of the walls are painted sage green and the outlet and switch covers match. The beds were firm, probably vintage, and reasonably comfortable. The bathroom has lovely multicolor granite tiles and a vintage table for a vanity. Don't be surprised if the floor in your room tilts - this place is old! When we stayed, the pillows could have used a refresh. And I'm not sure what the housekeeping schedule is, but we stayed three nights and there was no towel/turn-down service in that time. I'm reluctantly taking a star off for these two factors. The service is friendly, professional, and responsive. When we had a question but no one could answer the phone, they saw that we had called and called us right back!

We checked in on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, and checked out on Saturday. The front desk attendant was very pleasant. I did not like our room placement. Our room was next to the mechanics room. Throughout the night, it made loud noises that could be heard in our room. Our room was also next to the pool, which proved to be a high traffic area with noisy children and families. Parents also allowed their children to run screaming up and down the hallway. The room itself was fine. It had a separate couch and bed area. Neither the couch nor bed were super comfortable, but they did the trick for the two days we were there. The bathroom was nice and large and had a modern feel to it. There were some stains on the carpet. The breakfast had lots of options, from waffles to eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, and gravy to fruit and cereal. They also offered milk, coffee, and fruit juices. The only downside was that the same food was offered both days. I was hoping that some of the hot food options would be different every day. Overall, this hotel served its purpose. We got a clean bed to sleep in and a hot breakfast.

General: I stayed here for work in early September, 2024…read more Location - Right off the highway that is a quick drive from the college campus and many different restaurants and shopping options. One downside from that, is that it might be a little noisy if your room is on the freeway side. Rooms & Building - Rooms are standard Country Inn rooms with a touch of modern décor. They were clean and comfortable. The hotel itself has the standard Country Inn modern design with neutral colors, open airy public spaces, and light wood designs. Amenities - There is a good sized indoor pool that also included a hot tub. I used the hot tub and it was relaxing. Quick shout out - whoever painted the tropical decor in the pool area did an amazing job. Such detail and attention to realism, it looked awesome. I would have that artist paint those things in my own home, so cool. Food - There is a free breakfast buffet offered at this location. The breakfast layout is your standard waffle bar layout. Hot options include eggs, breakfast meat and fresh waffles. Continental options are available too such as yogurt, cereal, breakfast breads, fruit, etc. and also some more rare things such as Poptart packs, single serve soy or almond milk cartons, and other single serve food items. There was plenty of options for a variety of tastes. Vibe - Easy going and friendly staff. They had fresh backed cookies available at all times and they actually had them available (most of the time, they bake one batch and if you miss them, you miss them). They kept the cookie tray full, so welcoming. Reality vs. Online - Pictures that I saw on their website and online matched the quality and condition of the hotel and rooms in-person. No surprises. Price & Final Verdict - Price was just a bit over $100 for one night. Great price point for what was offered. I would stay here again if in the area.

The pool and hot-tub area were awesome. The only suggestions I have are: 1.) Put towel bars in the bathroom. There was only a small vanity space, huge sink, tub/shower, and a tiny hook on the back of the door. There wasn't anywhere to hang towels or swimwear. 2.) Put a floor length mirror in the main room because 4 girls getting ready with one small mirror in the bathroom was very difficult. 3.) The fridge in the room needs to be bigger. It was so tiny and we could hardly fit anything in it.
