One of the most qualified in the Metro Detroit Area! Rob was extremely detailed and meticulous, had specialized equipment to gather and document his findings, and still made time to answer my questions (though we respected his time as well to keep on schedule). After the inspection, Rob used a handy software-based tool with all his documented findings, images, and descriptions. It was very easy to export a PDF report or filter + make notes. Rob also made time to review the report with us and helped us prioritize the most impactful repairs upfront to get our house up to our standards! He will thoroughly evaluate structure, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc. and provide you with accurate information and honest opinions! Additionally, Rob is extremely approachable and happy to discuss anything during or after the inspection. I also have to mention - Rob went out of his way to visit the house and inspect the roof two days prior to our scheduled inspection, to get ahead of the snow that was coming and would have prevented a proper roof inspection. He pointed out all areas of concern, both large and small. He gave us specific feedback on our roof plus an excellent recommendation for replacement. We had had our roof looked at three years ago (They gave us about 3 more years before replacement), so Rob's assessment was right on target. Extremely detailed (75) page report. The value on peace of mind that the home has been thoroughly vetted is priceless. Rob photographed with annotations everything that required attention in an easy to understand complete report. We are still working with the sellers to remediate the issues that he uncovered. When buying a new home, we went with Suburban based on a recommendation and all the great reviews, and couldn't be happier! Rob does a fantastic job. He really knows his stuff & inspects every nook & cranny. He takes pictures of everything including drone coverage of roof & siding. The final report is very detailed with the photos & recommendations. When we obtained estimates from a contractor based on his report, the contractor commented that the inspector did a good job finding things that others might miss. Rob was very thorough. He took the whole morning inspecting the house. Was very focused throughout. His report was very detailed 90+ pages with images detailed the damage and it also included recommendations (contact a contractor, etc). We received the report the same evening. He looked at appliances, walls, insulation, windows, roof, every floor, etc. He used an infrared camera to look for moisture and also used a drone to fly over the house which helped us notice that there was a hole at the top of the copula of the house. It would not have been possible to notice this without the drone. We decided thanks to his report not to make a very expensive mistake and keep searching for our dream home. He saved us tens of thousands of dollars in needed repairs thanks to the home inspection. read more

He was responsive, professional, friendly, and very thorough. As a first time home buyer and an anxious person, I had lots of questions and concerns about the process. Rob was very respectful and kind to explain everything to me and provide helpful recommendations for how to maintain the house. He clearly stated what his prices were upfront, and those were the prices we ended up paying. His prices are also very fair!
