I had a scheduled inspection a couple of weeks ago by Jim. I will say that this man was highly professional, very knowledgeable, genuine and personable. As I am looking to purchase my home, I know and expect that I will hear each and every little detail; even ones that are painful (or expensive) to hear. I was not only given each little detail down to an explanation to what it all meant, but Jim was not making me feel like I was annoying or unintelligent when it came to home repair items. I feel that he was being honest and straight forward at the same time. The coolest part about this inspection with Jim was that he was able to review these things with me immediately following him completing the inspection. He had it all available on his iPad/tablet for us to see. Loaded with action items down to just FYI's along with photos was extremely helpful. I received a copy in my email right after. I didn't have to wait until later that day/night or the next business day as most inspectors do. By the way, if you're reading these reviews and looking for the right company, halt your search because this is the place! For you heroes, you get a $25 discount (police, military, etc - Maybe others but just call and ask!) The woman who setup my appointment was a delight as well. Super friendly and didn't seem bothered when I inquired about the Hero Discount. On top of that, they had another promotion that if you liked 2 of their social media pages, you get $10 off. Added bonus: they applied BOTH discounts!! What a way to help keep money in our pockets and value the Heroes! Overall, amazing experience from start to end. Stop looking and just call them! I cannot overstate how profoundly disappointed I am with this home inspection service. From start to finish, their conduct was not only unprofessional, but wholly incompetent and astonishingly careless. Rather than providing a meticulous evaluation, they offered a haphazard assortment of dubious assessments--often pushing superfluous services that served no purpose other than inflating their own fees. Worse still, their physical handling of the property was nothing short of appalling. Debris from the attic was strewn across floors and even onto our clothing. Multiple upstairs windows and doors, including those in our children's room, were left unlocked and wide open, compromising our family's security and allowing expensive indoor heat to escape into the cold. Days later, we were still discovering unsecured points of entry that they had neglected to properly close. Ceiling tiles were forcibly dislodged and left broken and askew, creating a scene more reminiscent of vandalism than professional property inspection. They crushed the exhaust vent for the dryer disabling its ability to vent properly. Their negligence extended beyond mere inconvenience and untidiness. Through their reckless and unprofessional behavior, they created a legally vulnerable situation, practically inviting litigation from the property's seller. In sum, if you aspire to trigger a lawsuit and jeopardize your own standing as a buyer, then by all means, hire this inspection company. For anyone who values expertise, integrity, and basic respect for property and personal security, look elsewhere. I recently had a home inspection completed on my newly built home, and I am extremely glad I made the decision to hire an independent inspector. The inspection uncovered a significant number of issues that were either overlooked or improperly addressed during construction. By chance I had Tyler to be my inspector twice in the last two months for inspection at two different houses. The first inspection he found out mold in the attic. However, that house was just back on the market yet the previous inspector said nothing about it. I ended up back out of the contract from purchasing of that house. The Buyer and Anthony are both Veterans; (Wood Destroying Organism Inspections (aka Pest Inspection) are required for VA Mortgages and of course Anthony can do this inspection too. I think that, I have said this before, that Trademark is 1 stop shopping with all the services they provide. 1 inspection date with 3 inspection services where provide by Anthony (Private Home Inspection, Sewer Scope and Pest Inspection). I recently had an inspection completed on a very old home that had been completely renovated, and I was extremely pleased with Ora's thoroughness in inspecting the 2,774 sq. ft. house, which includes three floors plus a basement. Ora took his time and explained everything he was doing throughout the process. He provided numerous visuals and even had us join him for the sewer scope, so I could see firsthand the issues he identified. The report I received was nearly 90 pages long, which might sound overwhelming, but in reality, it showed just how detailed and comprehensive his inspection was, covering everything from major concerns down to something as small as loose screws.
