In my case the new tank had a bad value. I paid $20+ for the exchange, got a defective tank and no help. I called the phone number on the machine they display. Gave some information and then got disconnected. The store manager said they are a total pain. Often the door for the new tank opens and the slot is empty. Your tank is gone and there is no replacement. When elsewhere for a bluerino tank and all is well. So long Amerigas.

When they're convinced you're not a competitor calling to compare prices, they'll take your phone number and call you back, usually in a couple of minutes. Price-wise, they're better than their competition, but look for that to change once AmeriGas gets their toxic teeth into the business.

So while i watched numerous YouTubes and got some condescending "help" from chain hardware employees in the area, my bathtub dribble grew into a stream. Not just wasteful but getting scary $$. I was desperate! So i tried Archie's to try to find the right kind of washer and tools. The guys on the floor sent me to Jill. She not only coached me and let me borrow tools, she CAME TO MY HOUSE and returned TWICE to swap out tools and the washers and fixed it herself. She knows her stuff and cheerfully gives it away! A 21st century miracle!!!! Please know that this is NOT a service you can demand at Archie's; Jill offers her skills at HER discretion - she told me that she likes to help out other women because she understands how tough it can be for gals in the DIY/home repair field. Nevertheless I am now on Team Jill and a loyal fan forever. And Archie's is pretty high on my list, too! If you ever have to reschedule a delivery you will truly get screwed. The new driver to our area…read morehas chosen to pick any excuse he/ she likes to not deliver propane and just it sit in the truck and drive on by. So far we have been told, he ground is too soft to deliver, the weather was too bad to deliver, the truck broke down so we can't deliver. Is there any end to the excuses? Four days go by and four days of getting nowhere with worthless customer service people that barely speak english. Get the same excuses and stupid reasons for why this company is unable to complete the most simplistic task of delivering propane. Time to move on to a different company.
