If I could take the star away I would. I was an AmeriGas Propane customer for 11 years. Their…read moreprices seemed reasonable and the service was always acceptable. When they started monitoring tank levels I was thrilled and signed up for Keep Full immediately. Yesterday my heater started acting up. I ask Alexa to set the temp to 74 on My Ecobee and she came back and ask did I want to reverse the last command. Sounded a little strange but I replied no. Shortly after my heater came on and then went off again right away. I waited a little while and repeated the command. The heater came on and ran normally. I thought it was just me. Later when it felt cool I ask Alexa to turn the heat up. Once again, the heater started and shut down rapidly. Wondering what Alexa was wanting me to reverse, I went to the thermostat and checked everything. Looked okay to me, but the technicians who installed my heater set everything up and I thought I had done something wrong. I contacted support for My Ecobee and tried to work through the problem with them. Their Tech had me pull the unit off the wall and cross a couple of wires. He said that would make the heater start if something was wrong with the thermostat. Nothing happened and he said I should contact an HVAC tech. When the tech came, he checked everything and said there was nothing wrong with my unit. He asked me to try my stove and it didn't work either. We then checked the propane tank and the gage read -0-. By then it was almost 9:00 pm & I ran for the store hoping to get a portable heater. The store closed right before I arrived. I spent the night snuggled in my waterbed. The 1st thing I did this morning was call the local number for AmeriGas. The man who answered was very snooty and said I had switched to "Will Call". I explained that I had done nothing with my account except pay the bills. He insisted. He informed me that they could deliver gas today but there would be an additional charge of $300 for an "Urgent Fill". But I'm on "Keep Full". Asking to speak with his supervisor he left me on hold for about 5 minutes and came back on the line saying he was transferring me to the supervisor now. That was what he said before he placed me on hold??? The longer I waited the madder I got. Sitting in front of my computer while holding for well over 30 minutes I started looking for other suppliers in the area. Still waiting for the supervisor, I dialed my cell phone and spoke with a different company. The lady emailed me an application to fill out and assured me I would have propane today. I completed the application while I was holding. When the supervisor finally answered the phone, I explained what happened. He started with the "Urgent Call Fee" and I stopped him. I no longer want any service from your company. You were under contract to keep my tank full and your company blew it. I emailed the application back to the new supplier. I had a tank full of gas and a working heater by 2:00 PM. When my new supplier delivered the gas, he saw the AmeriGas transmitter on the tank and his office called me before he would fill the tank. He suggested I call them and have them pick the unit up or they would continue to "monitor" my tank and charge me $200 a month for the unit. I made that call as soon as I came back in the house. I also told them I would be writing this review. I'd recommend skipping the agony and calling anyone else.

I had acquired some metal chairs for free through Craig's list. It was suggested by a local fence…read moreand security company to go to Ned's to find what I needed to repair the rusted legs on these chairs. I walked in and was greeted right away. Told the guy what I was looking for, I had the chairs with me so he could see exactly what I was trying to do. He looked at the chairs, took measurements and we went back in the store in search to get me what I needed for this project I wanted to do. Now, I was probably not needing steel to repair these legs but, hey I got these chairs for free and didn't want to spend too much time trying to find something that would match perfectly and they had been rusted out so I was looking for a fix more permanent. After having the right size found and cut I was looking forward to this project. Now, let me tell you why this place got 4 stars vs 5. As I go to the steel yard to get my steel I hand I was approached by a guy on forklift, hand the guy the paper, he looks at it and tells me to go to the back corner and wait. I get there and in a few minutes he cuts the first pieces, perfect. The second piece is a round piece...he cuts a square piece. I tell him that's not what I need, I don't need a square I need round. He tells me that the paper didn't have round on it. I looked and nope it didn't say square nor did it say round. So, he then looks for the right size round piece. A few min go by and here he comes on a fork lift with a 20 ft piece. Ok, cuts me my small piece and I check for size to make sure it fits the leg and it fits. I say thank you and I'm heading out. When heading out, there's a sign that says stop here to check out. There's a truck in front of me so I wait, the guy grabs his paper and waves him through. I get up there and the guy to check me out is now on the phone....I wait and he notices me but, keeps talking...I wait. A girl walks up and I go to hand her the paper, she yells to the guy on the phone, he seems agitated and tells her something and she's confused, and tells me, I don't know what he's doing...so, I tell her here's the paper for my metal, she yelled back to the guy on the phones and he yells back agitated at her and waves to her and tells her to let me go through. So, the customer service was good on the inside, friendly and helpful when you go in but, could of been more helpful to write round pice for the guy in the metal yard, and they need to work on customer service while heading out. Have lots of metal choices, and well as other things for a lot of uses or ideas,

Great people! Awesome place to go if you need any kind of metal for you projects! Reasonable…read morepriced. Or if you just want to go in and look around to see what they got it's likely you will find something you need or just want! Never had a bad experience here. I like that it's run by family and all of them from the country! They know what it means to work and what it takes to get a good done!
