Wow!! Stopped here on a whim because I was passing them and had planned on going to chick-fil-a. I don't indulge in fried food very often, need to watch that cholesterol, but decided to give it a chance since it's Friday, lent and I was craving fish. Ordered the fish platter and absolutely loved it! Came with three large pieces of fish, nice thick pieces too - not skinny/thin fish where all you taste is the breading. The bread coating was tasty without being overly seasoned. The onion rings were real onions and I was very pleased that they were not too thinly cut. Just wish the onion inside the breading were a little thicker too. But it's nice that they offer you french fries OR onion rings without an upcharge for the latter. I came in hungry and I was only able to eat my onion rings and one of the fillets. Ended up taking two of the other nice size fillets home to eat later. The counter staff offered three different types of dipping sauce for my onion rings and/or fish: ranch, sweet chili pepper & their 'flayva' sauce. The latter 'house' sauce is a tomato mayonnaise base similar to Cane's, but a bit more spicy. And of course they have ketchup available too. Absolutely loved the sweet chili sauce, tangy Asian kind of sauce with some specks of dried red pepper flakes YUMMMMMM Personnel at the counter were very pleasant and helpful and restaurant was impeccably clean - even the bathrooms. My only negative comment was that I ate in and the seats on there individual chairs are not very comfortable. But they do have bench seating too and I'll use that next time. Wait time for my order could have been a little better, but it was peak lunch time on a Friday. Several people came in to pick up orders from the counter that had obviously been placed in advance and several cars came through the drive-thru while I was waiting for my meal. Have to give them grace for having come during a busy lunch period. Definitely will be back here to try a Philly steak sandwich, hamburger, or wings. read more

Flayva gets a 3....for now. We ordered it through DoorDash the first time around midnight, it was hot, fresh, and delicious! I was excited to get it for lunch yesterday. I ordered everything and took it home to eat with my husband. Service was realistically fast. I was there maybe 10 mins but I expected as much since everything was made fresh. Ordering did present some challenge between the speaker or the cashier I had to repeat myself a few times. Not sure why that was, it wasn't a terrible inconvenience just something I made note of. The Oreo milkshake was the first thing I noticed. It was thin and super melty when they handed it to me through the window. So already off to a bad start, milkshakes made thin are NOT my favorite thing. Especially since I was transporting it home. I was so excited to get home so I could dig in to my Philly cheesesteak fries. They looked delicious, but after the first bite I wasn't impressed. Very light sauce, not enough cheese, seasoning was lacking for the meat and fries, and the fries weren't fresh. My husband got a repeat order so we at least had that.....except the chicken cheesesteak wasn't as fresh or as flavorful as the first time. And his fries weren't fresh old and not great AT ALL. I gave Flayva a 3, because the first taste was FABULOUS. We are willing to try it again and hopefully I can rate it higher then. Definitely worth a try, or 3. read more

This place came highly recommended by a friend. I drove from Perkins Rowe to give it a try and I'm mad I wasted my gas. I did drive-thru, which was my first mistake, as I ended up being trapped +20 mins waiting to get to the window. We ordered a Philly cheese steak, 2 shrimp plates, onions rings, Philly egg rolls, sweet tea, Dr. Pepper, and a 10 piece wet lemon pepper and BBQ wings totalling $75. The cheese steak is TINYYYY, the onion rings were cold but good flavor, shrimp was OK, and the egg rolls were dry. The wings? I was highly upset!! They taste like they were ran through an oven and then laid around for 2 days and then tossed in some sauce. My mom said the Dr. Pepper tasted like some kind cleaning product. Been wanting to try since they opened finally got there I ordered the Fan Favorite Philly and water wanted to charge $2.50 for a cup to get water. Cashier asked me twice did I want it as a combo said no both times. So far as the Philly it had to be the blandest tasteless sandwich I have ever had the meat looked like it had been put in a blender. I really really wanted this to be a good experience but it just wasn't. I ordered lemon pepper wings in the drive thru and specifically asked for dry because there also was a wet option. The line was long but I expected that because it was opening week. I shouldve checked my order before pulling off because when I got home I had wet lemon pepper wings. I forgot to take a pic but they did not look appealing at all & it wasnt what I asked for. Luckily I live less than 10 mins away so I went back and went inside to let them know about the error. I assume it was a manager or owner who I spoke to-he was very apologetic and said he would correct the order. I waited about 5 mins and grabbed my bag and got in the car. This time I checked before leaving and the pics below is what I had. They literally just dumped lemon pepper seasoning on top. At this point I was over it and just went home. My husband doctored them up and ate them himself. I know they have other menu items and I am willing to give them another shot but I dont think I will be getting any more wings from there. read more

An amazing variety of items should please the whole crew. Went to try the wings and definitely not disappointed. The hot wings brings you right to the edge of too much heat without pushing you over the cliff. Lemon pepper dry was very tasty. On both the chicken was cooked perfectly. Ordered cheese curds and the burger combo. I first got coke zero, had to pour it out, it was nasty, then tried the coke, also nasty, ended up with the root beer that was okay, they need to fix that fountain. The burger was not very good, thin patty, maybe one step up from Mickey D's, looks nothing like the pictures of their burgers, fries were passable, This meal totaled $27 and change, very overpriced for what I received, only thing decent was the cheese curds. read more

Burgers are good but nothing special. The chicken tenders, however, were so good my six year old literally applauded and declared that it was superior to her previous faves of McDonalds, Canes & Chik-Fil-A. Shes obsessed. After having the adult meal, I 100% agree with her and I've been recommending this place to everyone I know because damn. Service is slow but that's mainly because it's freshly made and once you've had their food, you will be happy waiting. It is clean, well lit and lots of beautiful/creative art on the walls. Only complaint is that it is a bit pricey but the portion size is good. I have not had the wings yet but it's on my to do list. I'm not usually the type to write negative reviews but I'm genuinely writing to hopefully help. I ordered the 3lb crawfish and it was very poor quality, not because the flavor was bad but because the crawfish tasted old. After the 2nd crawfish that I ate that tasted spoiled I just threw it all away. The potatoes had a weird rubbery texture. The corn was cold and had a faint spoiled smell. This is my first time at Flayva so I'm sure their other items are better. But if the crawfish isn't selling fast enough, I'd recommend taking it off your menu. Crawfish is too expensive to be selling customers old crawfish or risking anyone getting sick. read more
