While I can't speak to the other negative comments, which I can believe. Today, as a visitor in Baton Rouge on Father's Day, Miss L was working alone and she was terrific. The sandwiches were prepared pretty good and she was very hygienic unlike others. She always changed gloves in between each order and that's commendable all by itself. We all have germs and bacteria in our bodies but we don't need anymore than necessary lol. It was getting very busy and she did a good job by maintaining her composure. Let me start by stating a fact, I used to be a strong Subway customer. This location killed that I stopped going to Subway a year ago after the horrible service from this location. Now today I decided to give you another try, figured 1 year later and you are still open maybe a change. Well I was dead wrong. They were a little busy, so I waited patiently for them to get the group of ladies in front of me all their stuff. This location, and maybe all locations only offer white, wheat or herb and cheese bread. Next thing is I order a cold cut combo. It used to be ham, salami, & bologna all turkey based. Today is was just bologna when I asked what about the other meats. I was told it is all blended together that is why it is called a cold cut combo. If this is what you are serving I will no longer be a customer. This is crazy. This place for 2:00 pm on a Saturday was busy. The soup (potato) is great like it always has been. If I wanted a one meat sandwich I would have ordered Black Forest ham. My generation grew up on Bologna Sandwiches they are good but not what I wanted. I refuse to argue I just will not return. None of the soda worked. My wife is diabetic and I asked if they couldn't change the machine then could I reasonably have diet cokes. She simply said no. She wouldn't change them. My wife has asked for a refund from Corporate and we're never returning. We paid 34 dollars for two sandwiches and couldn't drink the drinks. The service was pretty lousy with only two people working and I blame management on that one too. read more

CORPORATE NEEDS TO COME OUT AND SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN. The manager is angry and the workers too. This has to be the worst subway in town. I asked why my 6INCH sandwichWAS $11.00 and the manager beat on the counter and cused me out. I was very afraid, especially when the workers backed her aggressive behavior. They fixed a sandwich and blocked the view of the sandwich so I couldn't see that the ingredients were not freshly prepared. I got a yelp just to talk about this subway and the other restaurants around. If you want food just buy a plane ticket, walk through security, and buy overpriced food in the airport. I came here hungry after work and ordered a sandwich after waiting a while for the worker to get off his phone, he continued to squeeze and squish the bread while he cut it and slammed ham on it. I've been here for both lunch and supper while working out of town staying next door at the motels. Always come here in he early hours. If you go after 5 pm - they are ALWAYS out of sweet tea and various different breads. It's pretty frustrating to always get told they don't have the bread you like only to order a drink and see they are out of your favorite drink after you have paid. The bright side, it beats the pathetic Burger King next door. If you have it on he menu, it should be served from open until close. No excuses.
