I ordered online via the subway app and one of the persons I happened to order a sandwich for asked me to see if they'd be able to toast the Italian sandwich. I was in the store already waiting and quickly asked the lady who seemed to be the manager if one of the subs could be toasted and apologized for the late message. By the time I had asked one of the Italian subs had already been completed and the second Italian sub was about to be, the manager didn't hesitate to tell the worker to scratch off the toppings and toast the sub and then to redo the toppings. This seemed to have bothered the worker assigned to the task, Annabelle, as she had to redo the toppings she began to make smart comments about me asking to toast the sandwich using the phrase "before she tells me I forgot." As she made this comment she happened to look up at me as I already heard what she said and was looking back at her. I did not appreciate Annabelle's unnecessary comments that were snarky and disrespectful. Do not work in customer service if you are not friendly and kind to customers and get frazzled at their requests for the food they are paying to eat. Had it not been for the manager doing her job well, I would've rated this subway 1 star. The sandwiches themselves were well so 2 stars I feel is deserving. read more

We had placed an order and received confirmation that the order was ready at 12:55pm. My pregnant girlfriend went to go pick the orders up. Not only were the orders not ready but they had her stand for 30 minutes before even attempting to make the subs. Things get busy that's understandable; however, what I don't understand is when we check the subs they were the completely wrong subs(picture). Now we are back at the store trying to get this resolved at 1:40 an entire hour past when we even put the orders in. Did a quick stop to grab sub's as our lunch while driving to Sedona and overall it was pretty quick. Restaurant is attached to gas station convenience store and little Ceasar's too. Also, there are plenty of seating inside. Restaurant looked clean too. Taste was same as any other subway and ingredients on display looked fresh. The only reason to rate them 3-star is that the staff lady was in so hurry that she did not even ask me which bread and as soon as I said what I need , she grabbed one loaf and cut it for my order before I could say the bread that I wanted. grey haired man with a beard was so rude. trying to upsell my 11 year old little brother as i said multiple times "no he is fine." Toasted his sandwich as I sat there telling him not to and he just completely ignored me. he was extremely impolite acting like he was in some kind of rush when we were the only people in the store and they didn't close for another 3 hours. the heavy set fella with him is always kind and understanding when i come in. yet this older man is always rude and fast paced as if we are some kind of inconvenience. this man needs a good talking to. we will not be visiting again. read more

Great food. Once it was done right. Literally walked up, and they just stared at me. No hello, no what would you like, just silence. They seemed like they hated their job so much they could even say have a good day to anyone. No smiles, just scowls. Then after they didn't toast the sandwich we asked to be toasted they tried to stick it in the oven with all the lettuce and tomato in it, which is disgusting. And I asked them to remake it so I didn't have to eat soggy lettuce. Keep in mind, I have 100% niceties when asking them to DO THEIR JOB. I've been to many other Subways including three others in the Verde Valley. This location is probably one of my favorites. It's clean, inviting and the employees are friendly and attentive. Some of them can actually carry on a meaningful conversation instead of just grunting. The sandwiches here always seem to be just a bit better with more ingredients instead of counting olive pieces like they do in Sedona. I stopped here earlier today en route to Phoenix for lunch with a guest who requested that her sandwich be toasted. One of the employees realized that it was not prepared as ordered as we were paying and graciously offered to re-make the sub after toasting it. Granted there was an oversight by the sub maker but it was caught and corrected before we paid. Nicely done. read more

Maybe the kid was training at the register but he didn't seem to know anything about the gift cards how to do them also was very quiet and not super-friendly when it came to taking the money. I don't know what the other reviews were complaining about - this Subway was one of the best I've been to, as far as service and quality go. For starters, they did indeed have the regular $5 Footlongs - a choice of Meatball Marinara, Veggie Delight, Black Forest Ham, or Coldcut Combo. The same $6 Footlong (Chicken Melt of some kind) advertised in the Phoenix commercials was also $6 here. The service, as one can usually expect in Subway, was excellent. I called ahead because I was on the road, and was reading the bad reviews on my cell on the way. The call was immediately answered & was told they do have all the regular Nationally advertised $5 footlongs, but occasionally they don't have the same specials as advertised in the Phoenix stores. When we got there, we were greeted as we entered, and orders immediately started. Requests for extra spinach and tomatoes and cutting & wrapping the sandwich a certain way were cheerfully fullfilled. They had all of the toppings and sauces available. Everything was clean. Everything tasted fresh & couldn't think of how it could have been any better. Out of dozens of Subways I've been to, there were only a couple that were bad. This wasn't one of them. read more

I can't say I am impressed by this Subway. Indifferent server who didn't make the sandwiches very well and were messy. The tables were messy and covered in leftover filth and there were gnats. One ice tea dispenser was empty and the other ran out midway through a refill and tasted odd. Sandwiches weren't very tasty either, the bread was off. Not my first choice of a Subway in this area. Stopped here on our way to Bearizona...it was around 8...8:30 in the morning. It was delicious. Bread was freshest that I may have ever had at a subway. The sub was loaded with the fillings :) Will definitely be stopping here again our our road trips towards Flagstaff! read more

Always friendly and they make the sandwiches neatly and correctly. I feel like the service and quality are consistent every time I go to this location. I have gone here quite a bit and am surprised at some of the more negative reviews. I can only assume things have improved as a result of those negative reviews (about the service, neatness & accuracy of orders), or the reviews were not accurate in the first place but I would recommend this location as much as any other in which I've had a good experience. read more
