    Colette sandwich

Very homey feel inside the bakery, they have a decent selection of sandwiches cold or hot, in house sourdough is amazing i should've bought a loaf

We found this delightful bakery by following the smell of fresh baked bread and pastry. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they also serve sandwiches. Everything was delicious.! The portion sizes are large and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.!

    Agreed, the bread is tasty.

We Loved the food, best quiche ever. Our peach cake was so good cold & warm. We took home 2 loaves of bread; sour dough olive loaf and walnut cranberry. Cute place, family run. We can't wait to eat & shop here again.

Stopped by on a Saturday in the fall around 11:30. Was busy and smelled great. Only 5 tables plus three bar stools so it could get crowded when busy - consider getting things to go if you're coming prime time. Park in the lot just before it if you're coming south on Main Street. Greeted immediately. Helpful service. Got a Reuben w/ salad for lunch plus a cinnamon roll, chocolate croissant and berry croissant to go. Cold case of bottles with sodas, water and iced tea. Pleasantly surprised at the side salad, mixed greens, spinach, carrots, tomatoes and cucumber slice. Rueben was standard but with their wonderful rye bread. Berry croissant was day old so was discounted. Overall a great little stop for bakery goodness and a sandwich on house made bread. Air conditioned, cute space with old timey music that is perfect - could be the 1930's except for the Apple Pay!

Wingfield's Ham and Rosemary Focaccia Egg Sandwich. It was HUGE. Had several meals from it.

Great breakfast sandwiches and bread products. Love their croissants (too much work to make at home). Their cinnamon rolls are good, but mine are better. Sorry.

Note that the label says "Whole". But that is not correct, the bread is all sliced up.

I'm not happy when I cannot give 4 or 5 stars to local merchants, but I consider truth to be paramount. There is a very apt nearby comparison: Wildflower Bread, in Sedona. And Wingfield falls short in every way that I can think of. I went to Wingfield for the first time to have breakfast this morning. Had a vegetarian breakfast sandwich. Sandwich tasted very good. But it was petite and had absolutely no sides, either with it or as an add-on. So it does not make an adequate breakfast. Unless you are on a diet or are a very petite lady. And the only other things you could buy were all sugary No lattes. Yes they have ordinary coffee, and it is ordinary. You would think that a place with "Bread" in the name would do bread right. But you would be wrong. They looked at me like I was a Martian when I asked for an unsliced loaf. Now of course Wonderbread comes pre-sliced. But this is not Wonderbread! A lot of us really like to chomp on a thick heel. Quite in general, pre-sliced bread is a bad idea for two reasons: (1) it keeps fresh less long; and (2) some like it thin, while some like it thick. You would think that a place which has "Bread" in its name would know that ... well, you'd be wrong, unfortunately. And finally, the staff. The folks at Wildflower are almost cut of the same cloth as those at Trader Joe's: trained to put customer service first-and-foremost. The folks I encountered at Wingfield were, well...ordinary. They were doing their thing, and if they got around to the customer, then fine. Finally, there is truth in advertising (or rather lack thereof). The label on the loaf says "Whole". But the opposite is true. It is only sold to you all sliced up. It's easy and simple for me to get to the Sedona Wildflower Bread. But I do feel for the folks in Camp Verde who would like to eat locally. I truly wish your merchants would take better care of you. And I am amazed at all the 5-star reviews. If this is really what passes for 5-star in Camp Verde, I would say the field is wide-open for someone to do a really good job.

Wingfield serves consistently fresh and flavor filled food! A must try for great salad and sandwiches with fresh bread.

    Do they serve breakfast?

They have baked goods and coffee but not traditional breakfast. They have quiche and their sandwiches are awesome as well!

My wife and I spent a week in the Payson area and we wanted to enjoy some really good food, so the Old Country Inn was on our radar. Pine is a unique town with a lot of natural beauty, so we sat on the patio. The highway was busy, but that didn't matter because it was a gorgeous day. Our server Joyce was great. She made recommendations and helped us select the Burrata Pie based on her description. It did not disappoint. I wish I had taken a photo of the whole pizza before we ate the entire thing. Several things stood out. The crust is soooooo good. The char from the wood-fired oven was perfect. The pepperoni was also the best I've ever tried. Now add the dollops of Burrata Cheese, hot honey, fresh basil, and cracked pepper. Best. Pizza. Ever! I've enjoyed the numerous varieties of pizza that are available. And I've eaten at that famous one in Phoenix. Sorry, but I would choose the pie that requires a four-hour round trip over the local fav. Make the drive and you won't be disappointed! Even their gluten free crust pizza was good. They do that thing where the pepperonis curl up and are crunchy. Yummy!! Yes we had to go down there on a Saturday night to order to go and yes they told us an hour wait. So we sat at the bar, ordered drinks and watched the kitchen staff kill it calmly and professionally. Lots of outdoor seating, games to occupy the kids and yesterday they were celebrating St Patrick's Day with style. Fun vibe. By the way, we got our pizza in less than an hour!

This innovative dish, for a Mexican place, was based with a yellow rice mixed with the tender chicken, mixed (basic) vegetables, and freshly-cooked green peppers, broccoli, onions and mushrooms. For style and taste, fresh tomatoes and avocado slices were on the edges of the plate. The sauce was mildly salty with a light soy and green chili taste - held together with thick gooey Monterrey cheese. I enjoyed this the richness of this dish. My eating partner had the Polle Mole (pun). This was chicken breast in a dark mole sauce, with the earthiness of chocolate and some sweetness to bring out the flavor. Unexpectedly good eating. Yay!
