We tried a little of everything.... burgers, breakfast biscuits, onion rings, fries, other things. Everything hot, everything well cooked, everything generously portioned. The burgers were EXCELLENT. The fries were hot and salted perfectly, as if this place actually CARED about what they were serving. Just absolutely an excellent food experience for the price. If they had a Whataburger in my area I would never ever have to eat any other burger -- that includes YOU, Five Guys, and you know how I feel about you! My only little complaint is the cheap styro cups they use for drinks. When I opened my lid, there were flecks of styro floating in my drink that had been abraded off the cup when they put the lid on. That needs to be addressed. Next time (if I get back to GA) I will say "no lid."

You cannot go wrong with a Butter Burger. It will be tasty, juicy, cooked right, and have some good condiments. And it is an unfortunate situation that you could go to a local place and order a burger and it will be a frozen patty. Listen up Yelpers, Culvers is going to be better! The fries are always crispy and good. And this is the only nearby place that you are going to get some legit curds. So give those a try too. I love the pork tenderloin. It is a delicious treat that you will not find anywhere else nearby. Reminds me of being in Illinois. And that's a good thing. I think the people who own this franchise have been there every time I have visited. They have said hello, checked in on us and our food, and have been welcoming. I also generally ignore the attitude of the staff, though some of the other places around this town could probably do for a lesson in friendliness or general customer service. It makes me wonder if it's just some weird misunderstanding from customer to employee over the years that makes them so yuck to deal with. Though then again... there are some really nice people at some of these restaurants too. Customers are the pits, definitely, I get it, but not all of us are bad, no? Anyways, I give them a three since I still think their chicken sandwich is pretty good. But if it ever comes back as dry as the catfish and the chicken on the salad, then oh well. P.S. Overall, I liked Guthrie's but didn't love it, and probably won't return unless I suffer a mental break which causes me to lose all of my previous memories or opinions!
