I love that it has fresh toppings such a lettuce, tomato, and red onion, but overall, the burger tastes very bland to me. The fries were really good. Commerce has about 95% of the chain fast food restaurants frond in Georgia, a couple of great Korean places, and some mid American establishments. If you know what you want and what you want includes a burger then you will do no better than Culvers. It is good. I have been to this one several times so my review is a summary of those visits. You cannot go wrong with a Butter Burger. It will be tasty, juicy, cooked right, and have some good condiments. And it is an unfortunate situation that you could go to a local place and order a burger and it will be a frozen patty. Listen up Yelpers, Culvers is going to be better! The fries are always crispy and good. And this is the only nearby place that you are going to get some legit curds. So give those a try too. I love the pork tenderloin. It is a delicious treat that you will not find anywhere else nearby. Reminds me of being in Illinois. And that's a good thing. I think the people who own this franchise have been there every time I have visited. They have said hello, checked in on us and our food, and have been welcoming. I ordered culver's for the first time as an online order. I waited around 10-15 minutes after I got there, but considering the restaurant was packed with people AND 15 cars in the drive through. The wait time was very reasonable. The food was freshly made, the mixer was done right, the tea was sweet, the loaded fries I got were freshly made as well with steam still coming off them after I ate my chicken sandwich. which the chicken sandwich was made the way I wanted and was crispy like I asked. While traveling, we stopped at Culver's as they have a reputation for quality food and an extensive menu for everyone. After some back and forth we ordered salads: (1) chicken cashew and (2) fresco garden with chicken. They were indeed fresh and made to order. I would put them up against a five star restaurant. As always, service was top notch. The servers and cashiers were welcoming. Since Culver's is known for custards, I couldn't resist ordering a chocolate shake. It was delicious. I was surprised and delighted to see how clean it was inside this place. Having never been to a Culver's before, I wasn't sure what to expect. The staff was friendly, and everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. The kids especially were thrilled to have a token for a frozen custard after dinner. There is a good amount of seating both indoor and out, and a big enough menu that most people should be able to find something they like. Shopping till we dropped at the nearby outlets, we decided to take a break and didn't want a lengthy lunch or a fast food bulk burger spot. This was a great choice. Greeted immediately by friendly staff. They were patient while we reviewed the expansive menu. After our selections, we grabbed our drinks and found a table in a very clean dining area! Our food arrived within five minutes and exactly as ordered. Very tasty. Hot, fresh meals. I was happy to see the cod fish was lightly battered and not greasy. Fairly decent stop for some custard after a day hiking and shopping. I got a single scoop of the chocolate custard and found it to be the perfect size and for a reasonable price. The custard was creamy and had delicious flavor. The restaurant was not crowded, the employees were very friendly, and our custards (3 in total) were delivered almost instantly upon sitting down. I really liked that they delivered food to us at our table despite being set up as a fast food restaurant. I did not try the regular food items on the menu, so I cannot speak much to that; however, the people I was with said they have very good fries and cheese dip, so I will have to return to try that at some point. They also have a calendar they sell for $5 that comes with coupons valuing nearly $50 similar to what chick-fil-a has done in the past. So if you're someone that likes custard or steakburgers, etc., I'd recommend you check that out! read more

We live in Hawaii and this place is great. Had a Rueben and a burger and the food was very fresh not over salted like so many fast places. I had never been to Culver's before, but one of my favorite YouTubers (Joe is Hungry -- @JoeIsHungry) has stated multiple times that Culver's is the Gold Standard of a good fast food burger, and he was not wrong. Seeing as I was visiting my friend down in Georgia, I had to give it a try. Service was fairly routine for a restaurant that does cook its burgers to order--similar to Chick Fil A. The employees at the Commerce location were quite friendly. I ordered the Pretzel Haus Pub Burger, with a side of cheese curds and a large peanut butter shake. The burger was well cooked, topped with both a slice of cheese and liquid cheese. The shake was delicious, and the ice cream flavor of the day was blackberry cobbler (which I was very tempted to order in addition). We took our order to go, so I cannot say much about the restaurant ambiance, but I polished off the burger in no time. Not super cheap, but definitely high quality fast food that's worth it if you want a reliable burger. read more

I can understand a little slower service if your food is hot. But, our meals have been cold the past 4 visits. Such a shame because we were excited to have this place open near us. The Gainesville location is amazing! Even the ice creams are pitiful at the Commerce location. They need to put more toppings on and serve it before it's melted. *edited- when I went to return my burger the owner slung the bag across the store. We stopped in to Culver's for a cold treat. We ordered the Salted Caramel Concrete Mix. Looking at the picture on the menu, I could not wait. The cashier kept asking me what 2 toppings I wanted on it. Looking at the picture, I didn't think it needed anything else. So I choose not to add anything else to it. We paid and took our seat. Service was prompt and very friendly. But when I got my Salted Carmel Concrete Mix it looked just like a cup of Vanilla. I was so disappointed with the looks of it I didn't even want to eat it. So I decided it had to at least taste good. When I tried it there was no flavor just plain. I don't understand how you can show pictures of a product and serve something completely different. We came here after a long day of hiking and sightseeing and were welcomed so heartily by the staff. They had a daily special for a two buck double cheeseburger and it was absolutely delicious guilty pleasure food, with perfect onions & pickles like you would find at a family cookout. Win. So this was my first time in a Culver's! I have been really excited about trying this and as a foodie and food blogger that reviews restaurants all over North Georgia I tend to eat local and not reviews chains as much. But deciding here recently that chains tho all have different methods of running business both good and bad are still worth reviewing. Hey when you are in a rush you still need a good place to eat! Anyways, my self and two of my really good friends finally mad it up to Cluver's and before I even begin the review I was very impressed at the cleanliness of the entrance and dining room. Going up to order I was greeted from a very informative sweet cashier who even took the time to comment on my smile. After ordering I was a little taken back by the total price but wasn't quick to dismiss it as I had never ate here before and I'm a firm believer good food has a price. I'll also say that the price was not out of the normal for the size of food and great atmosphere atmosphere you get in the dining room. Our order came out in about 7 min by a very nice gentleman. Needing more mayo I went to the counter and they was very attentive. Got me what I wanted with a smile. The food, the food was great I had a double butter bacon burger, fries, four tenders and cheese curds ( I shared) now you can see why I said I dismissed the total amount. The food was excellent, the customer service was spot on even tho they are in the search for a manager at the moment they still didn't miss a beat. Wanting to get the full experience I had to try the Custer which was ammmmazing needless to say this visit will not be my last! The food was outstanding. The service was horrible. They were training a new guy and evidently he messed up the order. Which happens. I had an order of onion rings with each hamburger. We got one order of onion rings and one order of friend cheese puffs. Which I notified the front of the mistake they said I didn't order two orders of onion rings and to check with my girlfriend. I said we both ordered onion rings and they said they heard her say cheese puffs and the manager told me to check with her as if I wasn't there. Then the manager came and took the cheese puffs and took the receipt. After 20 min the onion rings were still not here, my girlfriend went up to ask about them and she was ignored. Eventually they brought the onion rings but never brought the receipt back. When you make a mistake just admit it, it's easy really. Accusing customers of lying is not how to do business. Maybe my experience will be better next time, if I come back. read more

It didn't offer dine in service which was fine. The drive thru service was bad, though. The order taker couldn't get our order correct and it was frustrating. When we got to the service window and got our order the order didn't have all our food as we anticipated given the experience with giving the order. When we told the attendant at the service window she could care less; she was unprofessional but you don't expect much from a teenager; however this is more of a reflection on the manager. If Culver's values there business image it would behoove them to look into this and improve this at this store. This restaurant is a blend of fast food and fast casual that seems to appeal to a lot of people. Perhaps the best feature is a really wide variety of food on the menu. For groups and/or family with diverse tastes, most anyone should find something to like on the menu. Hubby and I had an early lunch at the one in Commerce, and the staff was both friendly and efficient. He ordered the Deluxe Burger basket and I got a pot roast sandwich and a bowl of chicken noodle soup. We got our food really quickly. By the time we left, there were quite a few customers. We thought the food was good but not exceptional. The service was outstanding, and the prices were a bit higher than we usually pay for this caliber of food. Were I in the area, I would eat there again, especially if having a lot of choices would help keep folks happy. read more

I love this place. They have the best spicy chicken sandwich (the non-spicy is good also), and the pot roast sandwich is great, too. My kid loves the cheeseburger. The chocolate custard is amazing--so many fantastic flavors of the day! The 4-pint pack to take home is a really good deal--we get it often. My absolute favorite menu item is the pretzel bites; I am so glad they are a permanent menu item now. The staff are really friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I don't understand why Chick fil A is so popular when Culver's has a much better chicken sandwich! Do expect to wait a few minutes for your order because they cook to order (your food will be hot and fresh and worth the wait). read more
