Stopped in for a bite to eat while traveling. First thing we see is the manager lady leaving, leaving A single employee (I asked her name - Julie) to run the store by herself. Julie fixed great sandwiches... main part of store was clean. My problem is the women's restroom. There were urine drops all over the seat, and brown splatters in the bowl. On top of that, no paper towels. (I went in to wash hands after eating and found the issues.) Obviously not serviced in a while. The young lady (Julie) is doing foodservice - she absolute should not be cleaning the bathroom as well. My big issue is the manager... she left a single employee to manage all customers without verifying things were shipshape elsewhere, and Apparently she left for the day. Lady, whoever you are, you are a pathetic excuse of a manager. Your job is to look out for the store and your employees - you did neither. Owner - you'd better deal with this manager or she'll ruin your business. read more

Don't like writing bad reviews but after going to this place for over a year I'm finally done. The biggest problem that still exists is they are extremely slow. Usually takes 20 minutes for 4 six inches sandwiches, no matter if we're the only people there or not. The newest problem that started about 3 weeks ago is the bread is hard, hurts the sides of your mouth while you're eating. There's no reason this should be happening. I'm giving at least one star because (you need at least that for a yelp review)..the store is clean like everything else is in Champion's Gate and they have "Agua Fresca" drinks that are a nice change from the usual fountain drinks. But that's end of it. To be clear, the day that I accept a Subway employee making my sandwich the way THEY want to, is the day that the sandwich will be free. The middle-aged employee with small eyeglasses and long wavy blonde hair apparently thought she could be rude and ignore my requests. I can't even begin to understand how she still has a job. I asked her to put mayo on my sandwich and she wouldn't do it and proceeded to move on to making the sandwich I was paying for. I actually had to ask her FOURRRRR times to put the mayo on. She finally ROLLED HER EYES, SUCKED HER TEETH and put the mayo on. I was literally in disbelief. Other than her horrible customer service and all around initial bad attitude as soon as she started making my sandwich, I just don't see a need to come here. THEY SOLD MY MONEY I placed an order on the subway app. I went in to pick it up and was told them never received it, at which point I should the email confirmation. I was told sorry there was nothing he could do and was trying to get to the next customer. I asked him what to do and he told me to call corporate and was told he didn't have the number. And of course there is no number for corporate. Send an email, was told they would look into it, nothing back. I PAID AND HAVE A CONFIRMATION AND THEY DID NOTHING!!!!!!!! Several visits to this location. I'm sorry to say that it appears chronically understaffed. Moreover, the operations of this location strike me as if it is run by a distant Private Equity owner trying to squeeze every cent out of the location at the expense of food quality. I have received stale bread on multiple occasions. There are times when I did not ask for lettuce, in spite of the fact that lettuce is one of my typical vegetable selections because the staff were trying to utilize lettuce that was nearly brown and wilted and certainly past it's "use by" timeframe. On the weekends it is not uncommon to have a 20 minute plus wait before you are served. The staff seem like nice folks and it strikes me as the origins of these complaints are the result of a short term profitability mindset. Ownership needs to do a better job and help it's staff here. read more

On the way to St. Petersburg, we needed to munch on something. Pulled off the fwy and ended up at some shopping centre where this Subway was located. My husband had a huge shocker when the guy behind the counter (Angel) told him that they don't carry veggie patties. The vegetarian sandwich is basically vegetables on bread. I ended up getting ham and cheese. It was the worst sandwich I've ever had. I don't know if they use different ingredients and bake different bread in Florida. The bread was chewy and tasteless. The employees don't wear masks or wear them incorrectly, when I asked why he wouldn't cover his nose too, especially while preparing food and talking to customers. He replied that sometimes it's hard to breathe so he leave it uncovered, all the time while talking to me pulling the mask off of his face. Subway isn't a real sandwich shop and that's a given. I was in a pinch, starving and this is all that's around (unless you want greasy fast food across the street-Wendy's) It was around 1pm and not very busy. I understand that senior citizens need to work but the whole point of Subway or any fast food place is FAST service. It took FOREVER to get a 6" sub. There were four people ahead of me (2 couples) and I must have been in line for 15 minutes. Finally when it came to my turn, the woman who was making my sandwich had to look at EVERY SINGLE person who came in the door or even said a word. Like a real busy body. THEN she was talking/yelling to people while holding my sandwich near her face. All I could think was "she's spitting on my sandwich" NEVER EVER AGAIN. read more

I stopped in to this location to grab a sandwich tonight (Saturday 10/24/20). Amiri was the employee working. When I arrived there were 2 people in front of me and, moments later, 3 behind. Regardless of the long line, Amiri fulfilled every covid safety precaution necessary between customers and before and after checking out customers on the register. He didn't cut any corners when it came to washing hands, changing gloves, etc. He was kind and attentive. My only complaint is that I wish he had another employee working with him. It was quite busy in the restaurant, even at 8:00pm, and it would've been nice to see another employee present to help divide the workload during a busy weekend night like tonight. The fact that he had to work alone is the only reason my experience was a 4/5! Otherwise, it was great!!! read more

Quite possibly the slowest subway I have ever been in. Two people working, but apparently only one can touch food.

Newly built, which means it's clean and the bathrooms are clean. The food is up the the usual quality you expect from Subway.

Slow and sloppy. They had four workers but only two were doing anything during the lunch rush. It took them roughly 15 minutes to make our sandwiches--which was after we stood in line for 20 minutes. It would have been faster to go to the Publix next door, buy Sandwhich ingredients, and make our own in the parking lot. read more
