Okay, when it comes to pizza, I usually prefer small, family-owned restaurants. Sure, I've had a few bad experiences, but that's still my favorite way to discover hidden gems. That said, when it comes to pizza chains, Flippers is at the top of my list. I moved to Florida 10 years ago, and their pizza has always been solid. The crust is great, the sauce is amazing, and the toppings are always fresh and delicious. No matter which location you visit, you'll find great service, friendly staff, and a very clean restaurant. Their pizza is also very consistent from location to location, which is something I really appreciate. I highly recommend Flippers. I've tried many of their pizzas, and while they're all good, my favorite is the Rustica. I tried the Jam & Pepp this past weekend and it was really good as well. However, the bacon jam was a bit too sweet for my taste. I'm not a big fan of sweet flavors on pizza--but that's just my personal preference. So I'll probably stick with the Rustica next time. I loved it. It was $45 for meatballs, breadsticks and a medium pizza which is pretty standard. They have a patio and a dining room. The pizza is a thin but it's the kind I like The service is good They do a Disney cast member discount but you have to show it in person. The meatballs are soooo goood! Given that this place is within a five minute radius of us, I'm gonna guess we're gonna be coming here a lot. Their pizza was absolutely delicious! The crust on the end of the pizza was a little thick for my liking, but the pizza crust itself with all the toppings was the perfect thickness. The toppings on top were delicious and the Italian sausage was very flavorful. We ordered breadstick bites and holy smokes. I could eat a whole container of that by myself! Poor delivery service from this restaurant. The pizza there is decent; we've eaten there twice. Last night we had baseball loving family visiting and we gathered to watch the final WCB game btw US & Venezuela. Perfect pizza event. We ordered a large pie for delivery through one of the home delivery services. We ordered and paid for the pizza on the Flippers website. We even paid for "Priority Delivery", choosing that option on the Flippers website. That was a frustrating joke. We ordered the pizza at around 8:15. At around 9:10 the delivery driver, a rare conscientious person, called us to say that he was at the restaurant, had been there for 10 - 15 minutes, and was still waiting for our pizza. We live roughly 20 minutes' distance from the pizza shop. We did not get the pizza until 9:45. Next we've got a pizza craving, we will choose another pizza place for delivery. read more

Welcome to the neighborhood Flippers. We didn't feel like making dinner, so we thought that would be a great excuse to try out this new Flippers location. When we arrived we noticed it was pretty busy, but there were still a few tables available. We took a seat at an open table and were pretty quickly greeted. We were also advised that they were busy and that it might take about 40 minutes for our pizza. We appreciated the upfront heads up and we were ok with the anticipated wait. We both ordered the create-your-own-personal pie and an order of the meatballs. Everything was delivered to our table in about 20 minutes or so. The pizzas were both hot and fresh, the same for the meatballs. Everything tasted wonderful and very fresh. The meatballs very well could be some frozen meatballs and sauce from a can or jar, but we both agreed that they tasted great and if they were indeed frozen and from a jar then they were darn good. I've had flippers before at other locations so I knew a little what to expect. I was not disappointed at all. I ordered online for a carry out order of a large Hawaiian. I love pineapple on pizza despite others beliefs. This location is near my house and brand new. I have been waiting for it to open. I walked in and surprised they had seating for people to eat in and a good number of the tables had guest. The restaurant was nothing fancy but definitely nicely appointed and comfortable. There were no feelings of the tables being an after thought. They greeted me right when I walked in at which point I told them I was picking up. Their pizza isnt good as ordered. You will have to doctor it up. I ordered through DoorDash. They charged me for a topping I didn't receive, I guess it's a great way to save money. The toppings can rack up quickly as it is and it becomes an expensive pizza. I called in to let them know and was put on hold to talk to the manager for a while, so I just hung up. If you want your pizza made how they want to make it not how you request, when you have to pay for it and eat it, it's a great place to go. If you want to have to re-cook your pizza because they don't cook it well the first time, also it would be a great place to go. If you like soggy pizza bread, also a great place to go. If you like watery red sauce on your pizza, which is probably why the pizza dough is soggy, this is your spot. I'm not sure why the ranch tastes like mayo with seasoning... smh. Everyone had their choice between classics or build your own. Each tried an assortment of styles so I think it's safe to say that all are delicious.
