Fresh. This is the main ingredient for a sub sandwich. They do it exceptionally well here and they give you lots of meat. (Pro tip- it blows a Subway sandwich out of the water) I like getting my money's worth here. Service was very quick, I ordered on the app from my car, walked in, sat down and in about 3 minutes they called my name. Last point, it's not fancy but it was clean and if you wanted they have outdoor seating. The only thing I missed was being on the boardwalk in Pt Pleasant and getting a Kohr's custard to top off a great sub. I'll be back and soon. read more

Not entirely impressed with this Jersey Mikes. Was good, but I've had better and the food took over 30 minutes for a sandwich. Me and my mom thought the bread was oddly stale and despite the wait our hot subs were cold, we ate inside too. Staff weren't very friendly but after a lunch rush I don't expect anything more, so I totally understand that. Restaurant was clean and had plenty of seats though. read more

What makes the sub for me is the freshness of their ingredients as well as the breads that are used and Jersey Mike's does well with both. Jersey Mike's are all pretty similar. The issue I had here was the speed on getting half our order, when the restaurant was not busy. I had the original Italian. We also got a chicken cheesecake and it took about 10 minutes longer. Not a big deal but was annoying at the time. read more

Worst experience ever at 11am when you would think it would be easy. Their only 1 young lady working the counter and was so inexperienced and very very slow! There was only a couple in front of us and it took us 20 minutes to get our food. And they also had 1 other lady making the food orders on people coming in and people coming to pick up online orders!! As a former owner of a smoothie franchise in a huge shopping mall food court in Colorado i couldn't understand why they were so understaffed on a Saturday. Plus they had no condiments, teas, straws or lids. Only thing I wish is that they have oil and vinegar packets to go because sometimes the sandwich can get a little soggy if you don't eat it fast enough but aside of that.... A pub sub is to subs what lenders is to bagels, perfectly fine if it's all you've ever known but while not quite the abomination that a bad bagel is, it certainly doesn't come close to a real sub. And if you've had the real thing, you know I'm not lying. Jersey Mike's is as close as you can get in Florida to a real sub, it's still not exact and it's certainly not a Whitehouse or even a Tastee (true Jersey institutions) but in a pinch it will do nicely. This location is clean, masks are worn and the subs a good size, a giant will fed 2 normal people. Grab a brownie too, they're worth every calorie. read more

This is the first sub place I've tried since moving here. The subs were very good, maybe on the pricey side, but they were good. I ordered online and picked up. So that process was very easy. You can even schedule a pick up time, which I did. The hot subs were still hot and they were delicious. I wish they did a better job at explaining the sub sizes online. I definitely should've got the largest size the first time, as that's a typical large sub. I learned my lesson for the second time though. read more

Unbelievable--I ordered a regular sub at $10. I only wanted to water to drink. They then told me they are out of water cups, and to have water, they would have to charge me the price of a cookie for the only cups they have (the soda ones). Dear Jersey Mike's: a lack of planning on your part (running out of cups) doesn't mean I am required to pay some up charge. Do the right thing--when you run out of water cups, provide whatever cup you have at no charge. (And with no sass.) read more

The sub was pretty good. It had a very nice fresh taste. I enjoy the fact that they make the sub right there in front of you. However, as I am telling my desired toppings to the staff member I don't appreciate having to say them again because he was more concerned about chatting to the other staff member. Now with that being said, if you are answering a question that is related to the operation of the restaurant, I do not mind, but when it is about dating, it can wait. I had the Italian Cold Sub, regular sized and my wife went with a Regular sized Philly. Neither of us made our subs a combo, but I did get a regular sized drink. I think the total was $20. So I ordered here because of their commercials. So good marketing. I ordered a tuna bowl and finished the whole bowl and wished for more immediately. We stopped in here one day because it was so busy a few doors down and I had been wanting to try them anyway. Apparently I have eaten at one before but I do not remember it and it must have been in another state. When we arrived it was not busy and we had to peruse the menu before ordering. I went with an Italian because they are my favorite. On the plus side the subs were excellent and the service was very friendly. I would probably go back just based on that. On the minus side was the pricing. They are the most expensive sub shop I have ever been in and I prefer a few others. This one just happens to be closer to us than any I prefer by quite a distance. My other issue is the amount of bread you get. While the sandwich looks impressive, who needs to eat an entire loaf of bread in a meal. Overall they make a good sandwich and if you have to choose, spend the extra money here. read more

Best subs around (sorry Publix!). Nothing beats a good Italian Mike's way. The roast beef and provolone is delicious and don't count out the BLT... it's loaded with bacon. One of my favorite things about Jersey Mike's is that you can get any sub turned into a sandwich.... sub in a tub :). They roll the meat and cheese and it's like a charcuterie salad. I am a huge Jersey Mike's fan. I order a sub around two times per week, and frequently order for my entire office. I love their subs and this review is not about the company or its products, but about the service level of this specific store location in Davenport, FL. I ordered 4 subs. My wife has never eaten cheese, and I am extremely careful about placing orders for her and ensuring that cheese is removed form the order. In this case, apparently, checking the "no cheese" box on the phone app either did not record or was messed up by the app. But mistakes happen. My wife called the store, explained the error, the employee said he did not feel that it was the store's fault and to bring the sandwich back, which my wife did. When she arrived, the store manager would not come out from behind but apparently instructed the employee to refuse to replace the sandwich. First, if that was the store's policy, they should have advised before she headed back to the store to replace the sandwich. Secondly, and more importantly, as mistakes happen on both sides of the counter, handling a customer that way is so unprofessional and unwarranted that this store manager should not be in management. That said, I would strongly endorse Jersey Mikes for great subs. But I would definitely advise staying away from this particular storefront in Champion's Gate. read more

I'm glad to see more businesses opening in Champions Gate. It took us a bit, but my wife and I finally went right before hurricane Irma. Their subs are on the pricey side, but they do load you up on meat. So they don't skimp. But to me, their meat isn't as flavorful as a certain supermarket nearby. Our service was good. There wasn't a line when we came in, but the tables hadn't been wiped down. Maybe it's me, but I hate to wipe down a dirty table in order to eat in. read more
