Ordered 4 sandwiches online and all the sandwiches were incorrect. They left off about 30% of everyone's ingredients. Super upset.

We ordered the Jack's Grand Slam. Menu says, "Our Ultimate Smokehouse Feast All six signature meats…read more-- Brisket, Burnt Ends, Ribs, Pulled Pork, Jerk Chicken, Sausage Served with four sides and two cornbread. No substitutions." For our sides we ordered onion rings, sweet potato fries, pit beans, and macaroni and cheese as our sides. Appetizer - Chips and Queso tasted like nothing - bland. Meats - Brisket had good flavor, but dry. Instead of "fall off the bone" this rib meat was sealed to the bone. Dry. Chicken did not taste good. Pulled pork was decent - average. Sausage was flavorful. Burnt ends were delicious. Sides - Pit beans had good flavor - very sweet. Sweet potato fries were just sliced potato - no salt. Onion rings were solid but the onions were massive so they kinda just slid out of the batter. Macaroni and cheese was by far the biggest letdown. So bland. Cornbread was sweet but not overpowering. Total was $77 before tip and overall super disappointing. I hope to have good barbecue in Michigan one day, but today is not that day. We would not return.

I've now eaten at Sisters Cafe twice, and both visits far exceeded my expectations. From the moment…read moreyou walk in, it's clear this isn't just another café--it's a place that genuinely cares about quality, freshness, and community. The portions are incredibly generous, the prices are very reasonable, and the quality of the ingredients truly stands out. I love that much of their produce comes directly from Eastern Market, so you know everything is fresh. They also proudly display their breads, which come from Crust in Fenton. You can even purchase a loaf to take home, which I thought was such a wonderful touch. It's refreshing to see a locally owned, women-owned business supporting other local businesses. The homemade soups are outstanding. The chicken noodle soup was so delicious that I actually ordered a second serving--which is something I never do. The Italian sandwich is, without question, the best I've ever had. I especially appreciate that you can order it either grilled or cold, depending on your preference. The service is warm, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating. They happily work with reasonable dietary requests, which I always appreciate. The restaurant itself is spotless. I've dined in countless restaurants over the years, and I always notice cleanliness. I honestly couldn't find a speck of dust anywhere. One of the things that impressed me most was seeing the owners actively working alongside their staff. They're present, engaged, and willing to jump in wherever needed. My favorite saying is, "Teamwork makes the dream work," and Sisters Cafe is a perfect example of that philosophy in action. If you have room after your meal, don't skip the bakery case. The display of fresh baked goods is enough to make your mouth water. Next time, I'm definitely planning to save room because that Birthday Cake Muffin has my name written all over it. Everyone at Sisters Cafe seems genuinely happy to be there--whether they're working or enjoying a meal. The restaurant stays busy, and after eating there twice, it's easy to understand why. They've clearly discovered the secret ingredient to success: exceptional food, outstanding service, genuine hospitality, and a true commitment to supporting their local community. I can't wait to go back!

Everything came out hot, fresh, and well above typical fast-food quality. The Mac Bites were amazing, but the Winnebago sauce was definitely the star of the meal. The shake was thick, creamy, and the perfect treat to end the night. Our daughter usually doesn't even like burgers -- unless they're from Bunkhouse.

I tried the Bacon Jam Burger with some regular fries…read more The burger was very good; the bacon jam gives a nice smoky flavor and the spicy pickles added a nice touch. Very much like a traditional smashburger; a little greasy, but mine was not overly greasy. Burgers are served wrapped in wax paper and that coupled with the decor gives a very old-school diner vibe. The fries were cooked perfectly. Golden & crispy on the outside, soft and steamy on the inside. I ordered the regular fries (not the seasoned fries), but they were still a tad bit on the salty side. The staff was young, but they knew what they were doing. The grill man served up a tasty burger and the young lady working the register & delivering food provided service with a smile and answered all my questions as a first time customer. My only knock on this spot is that the lobby/dining room area needs a thorough deep cleaning. The table tops were sticky, the seats had a lot of crumbs and food on them, and the floor could use a mopping. Ketchup & mustard bottles were sticky as well. On the plus side, the kitchen area looked clean and tidy (you can see right into it from where you sit). But the tables and chairs definitely need some TLC.
