Worst customer service ever . Went in and he said they only accepted cards so I went outside to grab my card out the car. Came back he had the door locked .... He came to the door ask me if I had a pick up like I wasn't just there ... anyways asked him if I could buy something as I'm standing outside in the COLD he proceeded to say yes and before I could even attempt to grab the door to walk back in he closed the door in my face smh . He realized I wasn't behind him and came back to open the door he had locked and asked me if I wanted to spend my money in there .... NO THANK YOU !!! Smh worst ever . read more

WORST SERVICE, this location is in front of a hospital so I expect it to be a good location (and my daughter was in the hospital I didn't want to leave her for long time) but it was the opposite. My order was wrong had missing toppings and I could barely see the chicken in it, it was literally a lettuce sandwich (they could've just told me they didn't have no more chicken and gave me a refund ‍) I came back to get a refund and the first thing I see is one of the workers smoking weed right outside the door, no wonder they got my order all wrong. I went in to get my refund and they told me I had to wait 15 minutes for the manager to come, I waited 45 MINUTES!!! No manager. Then manager stop answering the phone for the workers. So I took the food and went back the next day early with the food just to find out that the manager was STILL NOT THERE!! And they "COULDN'T" give me a refund without the manager. Absolutely the worst customer service ever. I went to grab a sub and went to go to the bathroom before I ordered and was greeted by a nasty lady asking me if I could read the sign on door stating bathrooms were for customers only. I explained I was going to eat but going to bathroom before ordering and she acted like I needed to order first. So I decided I would just get a drink out of the cooler instead which is available and she snapped at me again and said they would get it for me and that I couldn't grab it and pay - so I waited for customers in front of me before they would the drink for me out of the cooler. Can I just say that every time I come here they a get me order right. That just makes me so happy! I always get a meet sub with cheese and onions and they always give me the correct order. I love this place! read more

My mom and I visited today for lunch. I felt sorry for the worker, as he was all by himself. He did a great job getting orders out, and we appreciated his thoroughness and doing the best he could as no other staff members appeared to be there. Food was great! read more

Absolutely unacceptable. Placed an order 30 min ahead of time. Went to pickup, no one there. Called, no answer. Mobile order was already paid for. Their hours are 8AM - 12AM. Then I called over and over.. finally someone answered. They admitted that they got there late- i turned around to go back and get my order. Asked for a drink for free. since they were the ones in the wrong and said no... so here's your great subway by the hosptial and dr offices. read more

This has to be one of the worst Subway I've ever been to. On August 26th, I visited my brother at the hospital across the street, who had a stroke and heart attack, and I decided to stop at this location, 1749 Sunset Drive, Columbia, SC, to grab something quick to eat. The staff that day weren't friendly at all. There were two young African-American females and an Indian guy, and none of them were friendly. The two females didn't seem happy for some reason. They were just there. I spoke to them and smiled when I ordered, but they didn't care. I asked if they were okay, and one answered, "Yup," and the other turned her head and walked away. My sandwich was very sloppy. I also needed to use the restroom while I was there, and the men's room wasn't working, so one of the young ladies gave me the key to the female bathroom. There was no hand soap or paper towels to dry my hands, and the bathroom smelled putrid. When I gave the young lady back the key and told her there was no soap or paper towels in the restroom, she rolled her eyes, took the key, and never said a word. On top of that, they told me they don't accept coupons at that location, and I couldn't scan the QR Code to earn points. I would not recommend this location at all. They're horrible!!! read more

I walked in and waited for someone to come help me. And I waited. What I presume was the manager continued her conversation. When she was done, she walked back behind the counter without acknowledging me. One employee continued his conversation while he washed his hands. A third employee looked at me from behind a shelf (he/she was at least amusing because they reminded me a plastic mole in a whack-a-mole game). All three made eye contact. There was no greeting, no acknowledgement. I felt like I was a bastard at a family reunion instead of a paying customer. Why is it that when you are particular about your food and the way it is prepared it tends to offend other people? This makes no sense to me, but that is always my experience at Subway. I don't do meat, cheese, mayo, egg or other by products. So, when I ask that you not use a meat-cheese-mayo laden knife to cut my vege sandwich.....don't get an attitude with me! I thought I was supposed to get it served my way at this joint....or is that Burger King? Either way, it is this kind of "stellar" service that keeps me from frequenting junk food joints like this. read more

I try to steer away from writing reviews on the big chain fast food places like Subway, but feel in this case I should write one. I used to work at Palmetto Health Richland and this Subway was within walking distance of the hospital and served as an alternative to eating the wonderful (note my sarcasm) cafteria food that was an option. In the 4.5 years that I worked at the hospital, this Subway was ALWAYS BUSY during lunch and always dreaded going here (because of the long wait) and bad customer service. You would walk in and be at the back of the line at the door and the girl at the other end of the counter would be already asking you what you wanted (mind you she already had taken the 10 orders before me). This always seemed to be a problem because more often than not, there would be a problem with the meat, bread or cheese and would have to correct the order by the time you got to the counter. Such a shame as this was pretty much Subway has a Monopoly going on here since this (and one other place) are the only two restaurants within walking distance of the hospital and an alternative to the cafeteria and two other delis services on the Palmetto Health Campus. I started working in the area again several weeks ago and this Subway is within driving distance to where I currently work and thought I would give this Subway another shot. Mind you it has been about 1.5 years since I left Palmetto Health. What a year and a half makes. 98% of the employees have been replaced and there has hardly been a wait the several times I have stopped in over the past couple of weeks. Hopefully I am not jinxing myself now. On the other hand, in the years I worked at Palmetto Health, the dinner hours were never busy, so when all else fails, dinner is another option here. The only downfall is parking. If you can't get one of the spots in front of the store, it can be tricky with the spots where you park diagonally. read more

This is one of the few Subways in the city that is pretty good. Always clean. Always welcoming. Always cordial. We had 2 friendly employees make our sandwiches tonight and both were pleasant and accommodating. We love coming here during our lunch breaks at the hospital, and will return often! read more
