Food is okay... but the touch screen to order is way not cool. Maybe as an option but a requirement... don't like it.

Sandwiches are the best of all the Subways. The staff were amazing. The owner was so nice and friendly. We will definitely be back.

The language barrier is real here and the herbs and cheese bread is not being made correctly.

This review gets a four out of respect for Dolly and providing a promising Truck/Travel stop…read moreexperience. We aren't quite there yet. The concept looks solid.plenty of truck parking. A great looking building. Then it sort of flops when you try the buffet. I went on a Saturday around 6pm. The fried catfish and barbecue chicken were drier than Gandhi's flip flops. The mac & cheese noodle was good but they use a bad cheese product. The tossed spaghetti and meat sauce wasn't great. The bread pudding was stuck to the pan like spackle. Looking forward to grabbing a shower and a beer upstairs later. I hope they figure out the buffet before the Gem of Tennessee comes in on June 24th. That's the rumor anyway. ...Oh almost forgot, they had a country music artist playing for diner. I thought that was cool. If more people hear about this, maybe the food might not be as dry? Anyway, Good luck Tennessean. We'll be out on tour so won't get to see Dolly. Edit: went back in today. The trucker showers are huge, just missing sink space and hooks to hang your bag. Towels were real nice. Tried round 2 at the buffet. Slightly better. The apple bread pudding was good today. Meatloaf was good again. They can't seem to put out good chicken. The BBQ glazed chicken was rock hard and almost dry. They had some chicken patties in gravy that also wasn't great. The people are nice here, but I don't think they've got the right people in the kitchen just yet.

The famous cinnamon bread is available for purchase and is absolutely worth the wait. Whether you choose the all-you-can-eat country buffet or order from the menu, there are plenty of options to satisfy everyone. The brisket was cooked perfectly--tender, moist, and full of rich, smoky flavor. The selection of sides, available from both the buffet and the menu, offers something for every taste. The chicken, unfortunately, was a bit dry, although it still had decent flavor. To finish the meal, I tried the peach cobbler, which was absolutely delectable. It would have been even better served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The service was slow. It seemed like the waitress wasn't quick to serve or refill drinks. Waitressing isn't an easy job by all means, but there were many times when we wouldn't see our waitress for awhile. The atmosphere is inviting. There are murals and guitars all over. The guitars are beautifully decorated. Overall, Dolly's Travel Stops is a worthwhile stop for good comfort food, delicious baked goods, and unique souvenirs.

Everybody I know loves their Granny's collards best, but I swear that these are truly outstanding. The werewolf was great, I really liked the slaw/collard/mayo synergy, with a generous amount of roast beef. Service was great today, so I am assuming my previous visit was the exception. Every time I pass through (or near to) Columbia, I shall be back.

Ollie and Finn's Counter…read more Tucked away in a little brewery near the Columbia square is this little sandwich shop. I have been recommended this place by multiple people throughout the years and finally got a chance to give it a try. (Well, I say that but mainly because I go to Gold's Deli everytime I'm in Columbia. So it was time to share the love) They have a pretty large menu of various sandwiches, I wish I had grabbed a picture of them. I asked the cashier if she had to pick one sandwich which one would it be, she gave me a list of about 3 that all sounded amazing. The fourth she suggested was if you're overwhelmed or unsure just get the Italian. I LOVE Italian sandwiches so that is what I ended up with. Everything here is fresh so I waited about 5-10 minutes for my sandwich to get made. I will definitely be trying out some of the more adventurous creations next time but this was so good. This Italian has a freshness to it that I have a hard time describing but their olive oil blend is lovely, the olives, banana peppers and lettuce helped with that fresh taste as well I'm sure. The bread is incredible! It taste house baked, crisp outer crust with a pillowy interior. The house chips were also really good and salted perfectly. The inside is cool, it's a microbrewery and there's subtle like alien themes throughout? Overall can't wait to try it out again, stop by if you're ever down in Columbia!

When we arrived, we were warmly greeted. Inside is clean with 4 tables for sitting inside to eat. The restaurant is small and cutely decorated. The display cases with meats, cheeses and different salads and condiments looked great. The deli meats for the subs is sliced very thin. We started with lasagna and garlic bread that Dave and I shared. The filling had beef and Italian sausage and it was delicious. The cheese pull was good and not too much. The red sauce was very good. 5/5 We ordered foods to go after eating the lasagna in store. I failed to take a picture of the lasagna. Suffice it to say it was inhaled quickly. We tried the eggplant panini in store too. Everything else was to go. I ordered a Bruno Sub and asked for roasted red peppers to be added. Honestly I couldn't taste the roasted red peppers as there weren't very many added. There was a thin slice of 1 onion ring on the sub so I couldn't taste any onion at all. For me that's a fail as I like to taste ingredients. 4/5 The eggplant panini came with a side of marinara. I have had eggplant panini's before and was anticipating this one. When I saw it, I was very disappointed. There were 2 very thin slices of eggplant inside a sub roll that had been put in a panini press or under bricks to smash the bread down. The only taste was bread. Marinara was good but couldn't rescue the panini. 1/5 We bought 1 arancini and it came with marinara. I heated it up along with the marinara. One bite in and I was sold. I would definitely go back and order arancini again. The meat inside was flavored well and the marinara made everything come together well. 5/5 We ordered a pastrami. For us there was way too much fat and we couldn't remove the fat like we can in a Jewish deli because this meat was sliced paper thin. 3/5 The potato salad was lacking in flavor to me. There was a significant amount of mayo in my opinion. Dave liked it. 3/5 The marinated artichokes were delicious and so were the white bean salad. 5/5 Dave ordered a Super Sub. It had 4 meats plus lettuce, tomato, and cheese. There was a tiny sliver of onion but we couldn't taste it. He loved his sub. 5/5 The two cannoli's were delicious. I favored the vanilla and Dave favored the chocolate. 5/5 We will return as the food was good. If you are missing an Italian Deli taste, please stop by. This place makes everything from scratch. It was worth the trip.

I'm giving it three stars because it was my first visit and I never want to really pass judgement…read moreon one visit. Anybody can have an off day, so, will give it another try and see how it goes. What I don't like is that you can't see them making the sandwich. When you can see it , you can stop a situation from turning into a sandwich you hate. I ordered a ham sub. I told a girl that I would like to have it toasted. And then I told her that I liked it to where it was a little over toasted, and would she do that and she replied yes. And then when she gave it to me so, I asked if it had been toasted and she replied, yes. When I got home the sandwich had not been toasted at all. The cheese and everything in the sandwich was still like it just came out of refrigerator. I knew when I took it out of the bag and could feel how cold the sandwich was that it had not been toasted. So I took all the condiments off and put bread and cheese in my toaster. By the time I got that done, and reassemble my sandwich, all of the condiments were wilted and mushy and tasted pretty bad. The ham seem to be a really good quality meat. I really hate that it had to be so poorly made. The other thing when, is that when she put spinach on the sandwich, and lieu of lettuce, I couldn't find it. So I didn't investigation into my sandwich while it was torn apart and I finally found one and a half leaves of spinach on my sandwich. But I guess that was good under the circumstances because it looked like it had been through the washing machine because it had been so long since the sandwich was made before I could eat it. It's a sandwich have been filled with that kind of thing I might not have been able to even eat it. That would have been really unappealing to look at and then eat. It was a bad experience all the way around. I'm going to go another couple of times because I always do like to make room for that sometimes it's just a bad day. I have a job and I go to work and sometimes I just have a bad day . so we'll see how this goes next time and I'll come back and let you know if I can get a sandwich toasted with some spinach. Have a great day and happy eating!
