Sandwich was good until I found a long black hair in it, immediately lost my appetite. Not sure I'll go back.

Wait staff flying thru and bringing dishes minutes after forcing parties to wait to eat. Winter time - icy parking lot - HUGE big truck at doorway - No handicapped was available. Decided to try again - again food straggles out - the prices went up as well - the salad they give for a $25 plate of food is served in a child kitchen dishes set - am I wrong?--- (also went up a $30) Smart TV playing all the magnificent journey the owner went on. Here is a poor town with many people desperately trying to make ends meet. 1. Most can't afford this prices- $30 -requires a real full dish salad - 2. Most people want to be able to enjoy all eateries, fairs, parades, festivals, ice cream stands, food stands instead of running to local bodega for a piece of beef jersey and a beer. 3. The ready made food is ok sometimes but I'd love to have a porterhouse and king crab legs too - and choose to order -- not just what is made for the day. We tried the burrito- they add potatoes- no one ever adds potatoes- and they won't take the out. White potato is inflammatory- can't eat it. Was hoping breakfast items had more Gluten free variety & dairy alternatives: goat milk - lots of goat farms around - all sell goat milk in supermarkets- I checked I think this area suffers enough and everyone should experience a meal in any eatery in Dover Foxcroft- You all represent businesses in the area and the communities people pay your bill(s). I'd love to see more accommodating prices - open every day so ALL MAINERS can find a seat at your establishment. MAke affordable meals as well as your expensive ones ---People should choose. DId you say cake? can you cut a real normal piece? this is not NYC- only place ever served so ski skimpy like yours ---was at Tavern on The Green--NYC Other things distracting- owners sitting with "special or favorite" Again- small town - Owners-Chef should greet and hear compliments from all patrons. All patrons should be able to give constructive criticism on what they are served. I can critique as we had a very successful restaurant and a grocery store. Being part of community- store owners have an obligation to uphold certain business ethics as they enrich the community and the community looks at you and how you handle your staff and your store. We hope to see and hear changes so all people who expressed the issues at your store can walk in and have dinner without breaking the bank or robbing money from Little Lucia's piggy bank. GOD BLESS Be the Example

Owners need to take a business class and do a S.W.O.T. analysis on themselves and their place of business and serve the community better! Try the Bears den for some good home cooked meals, or McDonald's lol.. was forced to give 1 star or no review...

Yet indeed, I have no revelations or big reveals after revisiting this popular local haunt. The ice cream is still very good and the window service polite and capable. We also recently decided on a rare sit down meal here. We fancied some seafood for a change of pace and rather than driving a dozen or more miles away to frequent our favorite seafood restaurant, we opted to eat locally. And besides, we had tried Lakeshore's clams and scallops when we first moved here and liked them. So one of us ordered the scallop platter and the other clams (full-bellied of course). The servings were slightly smaller than at our favorite place, but also a bit less expensive, so it is a choice whether you would rather take some home for a second meal or save a few dollars in the short term. As we remembered, the food was good, so no complaints. If I push the issue, I have to say the meal didn't quite live up to the other restaurant, but that is why we have fave places, isn't it? It is only logical to occasionally test to see if others are ready to take over top spot! But there have a varied menu. And as a side note, the town of Dexter has implemented a remarkable renewal and improvement project of the neighboring beach and facilities, including building a new covered dining and activity area, which can be reserved or used more spur of the moment as available. There is a fair bit of parking , though very busy with locals and nearby camp visitors, and there are public restrooms just behind the restaurant.

They're is a deck with tables and lots of folks standing on it with cocktails in their hands. When we went inside we were immediately sat at a booth. As we walked past patrons who were eating, the food looked delicious and generously portioned. Our server took a minute to come over to us, giving us a chance to look at the menus. We decided on a Reuben $20 and upgraded to the onion rings rather than fried that cone with it. That was an upcharge of $4. The Etienne came on marble rye and was grilled to perfection. I think the sandwich could have used a bit more corned beef and dressing, but it was delicious. I gobbled it up! The onion rings were top notch, crunchy batter and thick cut onion. They were fried too the perfect golden brown and tasted so good. We also ordered the Mac and cheese which came with a side salad that was fresh and a breadstick that was warm, but didn't seem scratch made. The mac and chess was creamy with s but if crunchy topping, lots of cheesy goodness and my personal favorite, cavatappi pasta. Highly recommend this spot. My photo only shows 1/2 of my Reuben and an onion ring because I forgot to photo before eating...ooops!

So today was our day to visit. Unbelievable that we got parking right in front of the building. Walked and hoped on line. They have a pleasant atmosphere with fresh flowers on their tables and staff willing and able to assist walking the floor making sure everything is clean and tidy too. Popcorn chicken and waffle fries for my guys and for me a Chicken Caesar cool wrap with "grilled" chicken. Requested crispy chicken modification and was denied, they can not substitute. What?!? How hard an ask is that?! Apparently not allowed. We were given a plastic table tent and sat down indoors. As we sat I got to look around a bit. They have coloring for kids as well as a cute "Sit with the cow" program. Scan the QR code and you get to have the cow sit with you at your table. Fun idea. Our food arrived in a timely manner and boy did we time it right. While eating the line for dining in went out the door. After that wave another Sunami came through, two athletic teams from UMFC arrived. First their baseball team then 10 minutes later their soccer team arrived. Talk about popular. So now for the quality of the food. The p popcorn chicken were really good. No sauce needed. The waffle fries were delicious, crispy in the outside and soft I. The inside. Now for the wrap, not so great. As you will see, where's the chicken?? Looks more like deli meat than real grilled chicken. It was a dry sandwich to boot. Thankfully you get a sauce to go with, ranch for me. I ate the whole thing with the help of the sauce. Lemonade was good. The reason the substitution was not acceptable, it's pre made in a sealed plastic container. Not really sure what the hype is about this place, maybe it's the service from start to finish, maybe it's the atmosphere that makes you feel welcome, or maybe they have a favorite that keeps them coming back. I suppose I'll have to come back and find my favorite.
