In addition to cold sandwiches there are very tasty sandwiches from the grill. This was my first visit to this location and it couldn't have been better. I had an extremely friendly greeting and exceptional service crafting my sandwich. It was exactly how I like it prepared. I dined in and the dining area was extremely clean. A person was cleaning around the beverage station and I could tell my table had just been wiped. I will be in Flint weekly over the next several months and plan to visit this Jersey Mike's location again.

Today I arrived early, let them know my pick up name, and told them I knew I was early and it was fine to wait. Well 6 minutes past my pickup time now (I've been here for 15 minutes now), the business has gotten busier so I decided to go up to the counter and ask about it, was ignored while she asked the lady behind me her name, gave her her order, then I said "do you know if mine is ready?" And she was like "what was the name again" and it was ready and sitting there for minutes and I went completely ignored. I also asked for tomato and onion on only half, there was tomato on half but onion on the whole thing. So that was wrong, which happened last time as well. I work in food service so I understand it gets busy and sometimes things can be forgotten, but time and time again is not ok! Food is always great but service can be better.

Nice bagel/sandwich shop, but definitely not as inexpensive as you might assume…read more Don't get me wrong- this is a nice bagel shop, especially for the mall. They're definitely doing something right. The bagels are incredibly fresh and obviously baked daily, plus the breakfast sandwiches are delicious, as well as their freshly baked cookies. It's obvious some TLC has gone into the mix here. If you expect stale bagels and a commercialized taste, you might be in for a surprise. The food is fresh. I don't think the staff would let a stale bagel leave in a customer's hands. No joke. The only problem is the price. I get that everything is fresh. Shouldn't every bagel shop be selling only the freshest of fresh goodies? I think so. The prices here at Bagel Brothers are a tad high, especially on the baked goods and treats, like cookies, muffins, biscotti, etc. Most of the baked goods are in the $9 price range. I think paying that much for a cookie, as good as it is, is a bit excessive. It's not made of gold. The bagel sandwiches are a bit higher than most of the competition, too, but I don't believe they're as out of line in price as the sweets are. It's just a little bit steep, especially for the area. Located in the former Cinnabon location at GVC, Bagel Brothers opened this year and since then, I have enjoyed their bagels and cookies a few times now. I was actually pretty excited to try it, but not so excited about their prices. Again, considering the area and the competition, it's a little high, but the quality is certainly there. I particularly enjoyed the chocolate muffins and their fresh bagels, which come in a variety of flavors, including pumpernickel, whole wheat and sun dried tomato (my personal favorite). Personally, I think the Lox bagel, with salmon and sprinkled with capers, is the best bet. I think it was about $7. Most of the loaded bagel sandwiches are in the $6-$8 range. Regular toasted bagels with cream cheese are a little over $2 (gourmet cream cheeses are extra, but the regular cream cheese suffices). If you want to spring for the gourmet cream cheese, get the dill. It's worth the extra money. They also have a large selection of sandwich wraps, as well as soups. I haven't tried the soup yet, but the broccoli and cheese looked pretty good. So far, service has been fine, but nothing out of the ordinary either way. The location is great, right on the first floor and away from the food court upstairs, which is occasionally a zoo. There is some seating out front, so you don't need to feel as if you're compelled to plop down on a bench in the middle of the mall to wolf down your bagel sandwich in a New York minute. I think they have a great product, but I don't know if everyone would be willing to spend that much for a few bagels and cookies or a muffin. Just saying. Honestly, it doesn't really bother me that much and I'm willing to spend a little more for the quality, but I'm not certain everyone would feel the same way. Like I said, excellent quality, but slightly exaggerated prices. Overall, I think it's worth it.

It is not just a sandwich shop, it is a sanctuary of sizzle, a monument to meat, and the keeper of my very soul. They lay thinly sliced ribeye upon a screaming hot grill, right before your weeping eyes, onto a roll so soft and pillowy, it holds the heavy burden of glorious steak juices like a protective mother. Then there is the red sauce. It is not a condiment. It is an awakening. A crimson wave of sweet, tangy ecstasy that breathes life into the steak. And the peppers! Those free banana peppers are bright yellow coins of hope, cutting through the rich darkness of the onion-kissed beef. And they have supernatural speed! You order. You hand over your money. Before the register can even click shut, a piping hot, heavy brick of butcher paper is thrust into your trembling hands. How? Is it magic? Is it a glitch in the matrix? Do not question it. Just accept the miracle. My doctor tells me to eat more salads, and they HAVE THOSE TOO! I got one today, the chicken salad with jalapeno ranch. I didn't even have this dream until Big John's told me to dream it. Look, you could go to a lot of different sandwich places in Flint, but seriously do yourself a favor and go here. Choose happiness. Choose Big John's.

I've always enjoys the quality of their meals, but not so much today. Whoever it was that prepared the food today needs more training. The Chicken was tasteless, the mac n cheese was horrible and the green beans tasted like they poured it out of a can and just slightly heated it. I was very disappointed and hope it was just a fluke.
