Did not expect so much from this location as its in a gas station , unfortunately had a mid age woman who kept asking what ingredients we wanted over and over as if she was high. She was handling our food we ended up with food poisoning. First we noticed she would reuse the white papers they make your sub on, so our subs were only wrapped in one layer of paper wich is the one with their branding and its see through and she would cross contaminate by reusing the white paper on other subs. They probably use old ingredients my bread felt very stale. Safer eating the McDonalds or burger king. 3.5/5 stars. This Subway is inside the Pilot. It's a small place. They have most of the regular things Subway carries but not roast beef. I don't know if it's them or Subway not carrying it. But I miss it. :) We selected 2 ham 12" sandwiches so we could have lunch the next day. One with cheese and no veg. Mine with all the veggies on half and veg on the side for the other half. My side veggies were missing but the sandwiches were good. Subway always seems to have standard sandwiches that are tasty. Nothing extraordinaire but good. The girl behind the counter had a mask and gloves. There was a cover on all the items so they were well protected. I would stop there again. read more

The Subway food was the usual goodness; what I'm yelping about is the Thrifty Ice Cream near the back of the store. WORTH IT! Even with limited choices for flavors; I mean the size of the scoops and the general flavor are the cat's meow. I'm guessing it's the brand of ice cream? Not sure, all I know is that it's a good time whenever we come here for a bathroom break and/or gas or Subway eats. Worth your consideration! read more

Our situation was on 9/1/2024 at lunch time. This information is important as we were upset and did not get the lady's name. We were most appreciative of her. We also felt bad about not being hungry. We were traveling from Mesa to Yuma when our RV had a blow out. No problem call AAA. Nope, absolutely no phone service in Gila Bend. Went in to the Shell statin to inquire a website or something we could try, and the young man behind the counter was quite curt and advised no phone service and no public website and basically turned his back to us. So went back to the Subway Counter, and in a matter of second, offered their office phone. She was absolute a lifesaver to these two single women. Subway needs to upgrade their bread. It is mostly air, no substance. That applys to their brand not this particular Subway. However, the lettuce at this subway was brown and wilted. No excuse, if it's not fresh throw it out. As far a ambiance, it could use some updating. read more

When I walked into the store I saw a worker so I assumed I'd be helped pretty quickly... When I approached it was "Ana" there to take my order. I said hello and she said nothing back to me. I stood around for a few minutes before finally asking if they were even opened cus the whole i I was standing there she was just unloading bread from trays. After I asked she snapped at me and said " I SAID I'll help you in a minute"... like I get it if you're busy and you need to get stuff done but it was an empty store, she was just doing side work what I can't understand is why it was such a big problem to just take my order?? She never did take my order, another guy from the back had to come out and help he was fantastic... definitely won't be returning to this location though read more

This is one of the first stops as you enter Gila Bend, Arizona. The Subway sign is to your right as you enter the town coming in from the west. Inside is actually a good size convenient store with just about everything you need, plus your Subway. The outside has a self service gas pumps with plenty of parking if you are stopping just to stop. The funny part of my life, is this, no matter where I happen to be, no matter where I happen to stop, people always want to talk to me, like as if they have known me all my life. THEY ARE SO GREEDY!! they seriously barely give any meat, weather it be a chicken teriyaki, a meatball sub, etc.. they don't put enough that covers whatever size you order. other subways do, this one doesn't. If you speak up, they get bitchy and then double char you as if the customer is the problem. A lot of Truckers pass through here who are hungry. Walked in on 6-20-2018 @ 11:40...no one at the counter waited for approximately 5 minutes. Could hear someone washing dishes...5 more people behind us...walked out!! After several requests, this site still does not have paper covers for their toilets. When you enter a stall you see toilet paper on the floor, most likely from use as seat covers. They do not realize people are wasting more toilet paper. The cost of which can be used for paper seat covers. read more

Food was good, but there was little beetle bugs all over the floor dead and alive which made me kind of ill to my stomach as I was eating.

My sandwich was good, not skimping on any of the ingredients I requested. Just wished it didn't take so long to order as there was only 1 person working. read more
