The employee was very welcoming. All was going ok She started our sandwiches, then another couple came in. Leaving ours to get cold,as they were roasted, and began their order. I've never seen this happen before. We had to ask her to finish our sandwiches first. THEN she apologized to them for making them wait.WHAT?? How is this even ok?? There were several restaurants in Leadvillle but we needed a quick bite and there was this Subway. At 330pm the place was empty but still showed a huge mess that the lunch crowd left, the floor was dirty and all 12 tables were also dirty. I asked the girl if she could clean us a table. I dont know if she begruged my request or did not know how to wipe a table. She slopped the rag over the table and seats leaving enough water that i would have wet my pants if i had sit there. I use a couple of the few napkins that they gave us to clear the water. She did not clean any of the other tables but made herself a sandwich and went to the back.The food was on par with your average subway. read more

The restaurant was clean and the food looked fresh. The bread was fresh and our sandwiches tasted good. The cookies were cooked perfectly and the tea was good and fresh. The beverage station was a little dirty, the syrup caked up at the bottom a little. The main reason it lost a star was because when it was time to pay, the cashier seemed to be out of focus or maybe she just had a hard time remembering what we were telling her. Drove thru town and stopped here. There were two girls who probably were in high school. They had male visitors there distracting them, so they were talking very inappropriately. Steve, get your wife out of your businesses, she's the reason no one will work for you. If she likes intimidating and bullying other women more than she likes making money, in the long run she'll put your store under. No one would recommend that their friends or family work at your store after dealing with her one-on-one. She'll say she didn't say anything to me, but I'm not sure if her level of sobriety supports a good memory. I've never had a woman get upset for no reason and then get that mean. She's too stressed out to run a franchise. Something is wrong and she needs to take a break. I had my fiance sitting in the store at night while I closed up by myself because more than one drunken dude openly asked me for sex at the register and over the store phone. His colleagues at the PD wouldn't do ANYTHING to at least figure out who was calling and some of these pervert cops ended up asking me for sex as well. I told Brandon, the dude trying to hook up with any 18-22 year old employee, but he didn't do shit either and my man had to say something more than once to guys at the register asking me for sex. They weren't asking for a date, they were asking for specific sex acts because they just came from that awful bar down the street where women turn out for drugs. BTW, Brandon, I don't judge you but, truth, you're not the best moral example in that company. You shouldn't have told an 18 year old female employee that you were "emotionally connected" to her after she and you hot-boxed your car in the parking lot and you tried to buy her love with groceries. I started losing weight to date again and I got too sexy to close up the shop by myself. I was even getting followed when I left at night and I was really scared because I've been attacked before. I feel like you let Melissa bully me as well. She KNEW I was getting harassed by both guests and Bacillio Mercado who had just left prison for a rape charge and blew up my phone on Christmas eve of that year because he wasn't getting what he wanted from me. Melissa wouldn't fire him and she and her husband were so, so inappropriate with me. She was always making up stories about me and other people actually quit over her shit talking because my team never treated each other with abusiveness. Her ethic was off-base and she was contributing to the stalking and watching me all of the time so I WALKED. Anyway, I got married and I'm really happy now. I just make sandwiches for my husband at this point since these other dudes can't be respectful. Steve, I don't know what happened, but your wife is pretty insecure. God bless her and her family. Why is there no manager on site during a busy lunch rush on a holiday weekend? Two employees are overwhelmed and stressed causing them to be rude to customers. The price on the board states one price but rang up at another. Manager would not honor the posted price. Once said manager walks in he confronted the family, who was not in the wrong. While he should back up his employees he should also listen to what the customers were saying instead of telling them to get out of his store. Both the employees and "manager" needs training with customer service. That "manager" shouldn't even be a manger if he can not be there during a rush, can not honor posted prices and can not resolve and save a handful of customers. I have never felt so inclined to write a Yelp review rather than eat my Subway sandwich. The wait was absurd, four people were in front of us but we must have been in line for 20 minutes - Cody and Michael are obviously not the employees of the month. The sandwich was horrible. The bread was far and away the worst part, it was burnt to a crisp and fell apart right when I picked it up. At this point I was still fairly content with my meal until they informed me they had no forks (probably because this happens fairly often). Overheated meatballs that were almost hard on bread that looked like flat bread more than regular subway bread. Food aside, we had to put up with ridiculously loud, annoying music that made having a conversation difficult, and a parking lot that resembled a skating rink on a hill. We come through here all the time and this will be crossed off our list of places to eat at. I always feel for owners of places where unsupervised employees are on their cell phones in the view of customers. Makes me worry about the germs on their phones ending up in the food they prepare and question how the entire place is run if the owner doesn't have an issue with their employees on their cell phones. read more

I'm so apathetic about my life and my sandwiches. When they ask me what type of bread I want theyre tone reminds me of my father who I could never please. The trip down dissapointing memory lane continued as I struggled to portray the gray masterpiece my mind had quickly thrown together which was neither helped nor deterred by the staff. I felt naked in the staring eyes of my servers and quickly began to sense boredom oozing from their body language. I settled with a turkey cold cut with pepperjack cheese in order to move the process along. The person putting vegetables on my sandwich did not ask me how my day was going. I didnt mind though. Nobody ever does. He hurried me slowly along and gave me a look of ditaste at the mention of spinach on my sub. Unless you want to be sick all night don't eat at Leadville subway. They do not put any of their meats or Cheese or Vegies on ice. So bacteria forms on all of it, causing Salmonella poisoning. The 3rd times a charm sick each time, they need to be shut down. read more
