    Bacon, eggs, hashbrowns

Located inside the historic Delaware Hotel, Mineral 1886 looked like a great find. The restaurant has a few brick walls and lots of vintage, 100 year old photos on the walls. However, the interior designer mixed in lots of modern touches and furniture so that Mineral 1886 has no architectural continuity. Nothing seems to match or fit with the cool vibe of the historic building. The breakfast of cook to order eggs and crispy fried bacon was alright. However the hashbrowns were rubbery and tasteless. Service was very good, helpful and friendly.

Recommend their brunch! They have their own homemade donuts- recommend trying at least one for the table. The burgers and fries were delicious. The salad was good but had so much dressing it was like soup at the bottom- it was good though, maybe ask for light dressing or on the side. The building is very cute. It's in a hotel and has plenty of natural lighting. No outdoor seating that we noticed.

Lovely historic building. The food was very good. We went after our son and DIL's wedding. The food was very good. Hubby had a pork chop and I have a 1/2 wedge salad. We share a broccolini. The dining area gets a bit warm. They open an outside door but then it gets Chilly. That's an old building for you.

My last two days on race weekend spent recovering in Leadville, CO. I got to spend time with teammates that live in Leadville. My last night they took me to their favorite restaurant in town. Talk about not only restaurant with history. The hotel that Mineral in was built back in 1886. Leadville use to be mining town small town USA and best part at 10,500ft in elevation. The entrance to restaurant next to the front desk. The interior decor love the vibe you sense the history of the building and shows inside. They have few portraits of people assume have significant to the history. The style of the photo old school and gives you different vibe. Cool. The menu has nice diversity and even burger on the menu. I ended up getting the Scottish salmon entree. It was awesome. The salmon has perfect sear on it. Moist and juicy inside. The potatoes and sauce was amazing. Overall great dish would order again. The Black and Blue Wedge Salad was refreshing. The dressing was tasty. Service five stars!! Friends are regulars still waitress on it the whole time. Friendly. Smiles, Positive vibes. Next time visit will be back.

Birthday weekend in Leadville and Mineral 1886 was our breakfast stop on our way back to Denver. First, the good stuff. I'm always impressed by the small touches a dining room or a bar has. Mineral 1886 has a cool, old timey vibe on one hand and some modern touches and decor mixed in, that still fits in, if that makes sense. We stopped in based on the reviews and pics. Breakfast looked great. We ordered the Leadville 100 and the Eggs Benedict. These two for us, didn't hit the spot. The Leadville 100, a skillet bowl was overpowered by the gravy. It was hard to taste any of the other flavors. My eggs benny were bland and the hash browns were not seasoned well. I left more than I ate (which is rare, if ya know me, lol). This reminded me of a diner, maybe a Denny's. On a good note, there are small touches that can be made to get them back into a 4 or 5 star rating. It is the small things. We were in and out pretty quickly.

Amazing brunch place in Leadville in a historic hotel - huge portions and tasty food. Great service as well. Perfect place to stop by before that Melanzana appointment. Dishes ordered: Chicken & Waffles (5/5, $15). Strong chicken & waffle dish - waffle was sweet, came with a delicious side of hash browns. Leadville 100 (5/5, $16). Ordered this in burrito form with bacon, mushroom, cheddar cheese and smothered in sausage gravy. Will be dreaming about this. Drinks: Latte (5/5, $5?). Really good simple latte.

Delicious food and drink in a really cool historic hotel. We have never thought about staying here but after the great breakfast hospitality we had, I will look the next time I am going to Leadville.

Chicken and waffles with extra crispy hash browns and a side of gray- heaven!

Mineral 1886 continues to decline. Seems they have changed chefs. Ordered my usual sides of hashbrowns extra crispy and gravy. It was gross. Potatoes weren't extra crispy and sausage in gravy didn't appear done. It was more sausage than gravy and all dumped on one plate. Other party: the bacon was burnt and the butter pats on the toast never melted.

The food was very good as was the coffee (Dazbog). Good service even on a very busy morning.

WOW!! Great vibes, great music, great service, GREAT food!! I highly recommend coming to Mineral 1886, as the food is impeccable! Everything came out hot and delicious. They have great coffee and it's REALLY good, not like that regular diner coffee at all! We also got the sunrise juice with turmeric, carrots, apple and orange juice, YUM!! I also recommend going on your birthday for a free donut because they are the best donuts I've ever had, from the thick texture and flavor, WOW!! I will definitely be back!! Thanks Diane!!

It wasn't busy. We were seated and waited, and waited, and waited. No drink order, nothing. We left.

This was…read moreeasily one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten, the crust was perfectly crisp (I think it's made in a brick oven but I'm not entirely sure) either way it was DELISH. The cheese was so good and had a great pull to it too. We also had buffalo wings, they were very good and quite a good size but I didn't get a picture of them before we dug in. The service was pretty good as well, you order up front and pay then you can take a seat inside or out at the patio, they give you a number and bring your food out to your table (pretty quickly I might add) I didn't see much of the inside since we sat in the patio area and it was very nice. There was a good variety of tables and how many chairs at each table, most tables were shaded but there were a few that weren't. I also seen a flyer saying they had live music on Thursdays so that might make it an even better experience if you enjoy live music. Overall this place far exceeded my expectations and was easily one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten 5/5 stars

Walking in on a cold February day, the mood and ambiance were warm and inviting. The downstairs bar was lively, and the wood ceiling and decor definitely gave off a classic aged lodge feel. We were seated upstairs per our Yelp reservations. A collection of canteens hung on the wall, which sparked a fun conversation and history lesson for my twins. Since they're part of the CamelBak and Stanley cup generation, they hadn't seen anything like them before. My son was impressed by the size of the kids' burger, and the fries were great. The rest of us had the NY Strip. I'd say it was good, but not great--though I did appreciate the blackened seasoning and the chimichurri. The grilled asparagus, however, was simply fantastic. The showstopper was the upside-down apple pie with what seemed to be homemade vanilla ice cream. Both were generous portions and kindly comped by our server for my birthday. I ordered my standard Ranch Water, though it unfortunately didn't come in their traditional canteen cup. Overall, it's a great spot. I look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Colorado.
