Further, the kraut on my most recent visit tasted like they ran it through rock tumbler alongside aluminum foil. Besides fried okra, hot dogs are my favorite food in the world. Not only have I checked in at hot dog joints and called them "Mecca," I've also attended City Council meetings and encouraged them to attract more hot dog places. This place needs to do better. I understand that employees probably arrive at the joint around 9 a.m. But could the manager ease up on the throttle with tossing dogs on the grill immediately? And the kraut ... it had a strong metallic taste this time around. I'm a little spoiled on kraut, since I make my own, but I can still stomach the canned stuff. This was beyond that. The quesadilla burger and kontondo burger are our family favorite. The onion rings are hand dipped and you "only" get 4-7 giant rings, but they're totally worth it. I've also had the fried chicken sandwich, other burger styles, and the Philly, none disappointed. My only complaint is they are open til like 8 on week days but close early like 5 pm Saturday. I find my experience to be everything joyous on top of the food being delicious. I will be seeing Tome' in the future. We have a Ribbon cutting at our new build up Reserve at Mott in 2 weeks.
