The Manager is a complete WACKO .... Our online order was terrible and we called ..they told us to come back in the next day with the receipt and they would refund the wrong item (we are talking $8.00 here). We stopped in and the manager said "NO" ... "CALL CORPORATE" "DONT EVER COME BACK TO MY STORE AGAIN" ... she is getting her wish ... we won't go back where a mental case argues over an $8.00 refund .... what the hell has happened to basic customer service.... She is losing a lot of business as my husband goes there a lot .. NO MORE ....WACKO .... read more

I eat here about two times per month. The food is consistent as with most subway restaurants that I have been to. It's funny, but they always seem to be training new employees. I get the tunafish sub, which makes me think I'm eating healthier. I know all that mayonnaise in there means that I'm kidding myself. All in all, nothing extraordinary, but a safe place to eat lunch. read more

I had the most phenomonal customer service experience from Kaitlyn the Assistant Manager at the 3670 Soco Rd Maggie Valley, NC 28751 location. My daughter who was traveling through that state en route to our home on the East Coast, accidentally left her purse. Multiple attempts to arrange the pick up and delivery of the item through fed ex went horribly wrong for their utter lack of comptency. Thankfully as horrific as Fed ex was, it was my luck to have been in the capable hands of Kaitlyn at Subway who took ownership of the issue. She filled out the forms and even dropped off the item to a fed ex drop box for my daughter and I after multiple missed attempts by fed ex to pick up the item. To be several states away without my daughters purse filled with id, credit cards and other important personal items was very nerve wracking. To the deal with the travesty of failure on every contact with the company whose sole purpose for business is the pick up and delivery of items, to accomplish that, made it the worst experience ever. Kaitlyn was our Godsend. I cannot stress how appreciative my daughter and I are that Subway employs a worker who truly empathized with my situation and took action to resolve a problem that she bore no responsibility for. read more

I, in my fifties and my wife her early sixties are not accustomed to being treated like five year old children; the manager of this Subway didn't seem to see it that way. The food was typical Subway fare, except for the soft drinks which were quite flat. When we informed the manager of the issue and requested a bottled soda for our meal she (the manager) promptly and rudely said ONE! It only takes a minute to fix the problem! I suppose we should have somehow known in advance how the mechanics of a soda fountain operate and that the people on staff had the tools and skill to effect a repair. In hindsight I doubt they do if their repair skills follow the same path as their customer service skills. A few minutes after this refreshing exchange my wife and I were talking in the dining area when the manager injected herself into the conversation and tried to start an argument with me. I simply ignored her as to not create confusion about who was who (some types of people should not be argued with as they will drag you to their level and then beat you with experience) A word of caution to anyone eating here; do not expect that this manager will know that your conversation is none of her business. read more
