Locals know how people are treated behind the scenes, which is why many of the customers seem to come from out of town. The owner has a reputation for tearing down other small businesses instead of supporting them, and constantly copies ideas from others rather than creating anything original. Competition clearly isn't handled professionally here. Beyond that, cleanliness was a major concern. I personally noticed signs of mice and roaches in the store, which made me very uncomfortable shopping there. Some products are nice, but many can be purchased directly from the original vendors instead. Small towns thrive when businesses support each other and treat people with respect. Unfortunately, that is not the experience here.
