Again, maybe he was having a bad day or the heat was getting to him but this kind of attitude and service a little shocking. Even though I told him to cancel my order he still made the Deluxe Italian combo sandwich. After the exchange in the restaurant I really wanted to hate the sandwich but I have to admit it was very good. 4 stars for the sandwich, minus 2 stars for the attitude. The aisles are stacked with snacks, drinks, candy, and necessities. Located just off the highway (I- 95) on Rt 32 it is easy off and easy on to get in and out quickly. There are no left turns out of here but you can brave a U-turn at the light if you are headed North towards Salem or I-395. They have freshly packed sandwiches, salads, coffee, and pastries to go. I was hoping to see some of the legendary fountain drinks but it looks like this location doesn't have those... yet? The staff was very nice and offered help more than once as I snapped some great shots of their selection in the aisles. I recommend checking out this new convenience store and fuel station to any weary traveler!

The pupusas had that nice crispy outside with a soft, cheesy center, and they didn't feel overly greasy like some spots. The tacos were simple but done right, good flavor, fresh toppings, and decent portions. What stood out most was the price. You can get a full plate like this without feeling like you just got robbed, which is rare now. It's not trying to be trendy or over the top, just consistently good food that hits the spot. Definitely the kind of place I'd come back to when I want something quick, filling, and actually worth the money.

After that negative interaction, we decided to shake it off and eat some cookies in our car by the beach. Unfortunately, our cookies were stale and many of the cookies tasted the same despite being completely different kinds...2/5 experience, however I will update with another visit to see if that changes or if I just came at a bad time.
