I ordered the four piece tender combo with original and spicy tenders. The meal was thirteen dollars and worth every dollar. Many new chicken tender spots serve hot food with no flavor. Layne's does not fall into that group. The tenders were hot, juicy, and seasoned. The spicy tenders pushed the flavor even higher. This is strong performance for fast food. The fries impressed me. They had crunch on the outside and plenty of salt. They stopped right before too much salt. Most places fail here. Layne's did not. The toast was simple, buttery, and toasted well. I ended up ordering: Small Turkey Original Sandwich, $8.19 prior to tax- Although you may think this sandwich is small, it is pretty hefty, as it is packed with smoked turkey, genoa salami, cotto salami, sliced red onions, black olives, sliced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and 3 different types of cheese (cheddar, parmesan and mozzarella) on sourdough bread. A very tasty and possibly messy sandwich, but the hearty sourdough bread stands up well to the filling. You will get full off of the small size (although you could always order the medium or giant size) and you will love it and feel satisfied like I did. My sandwich was cut in half, which makes it easier for me to eat. Would order this sandwich again. ----------------------- (Total= $8.90 after tax) After I ordered, I was given a pager.
