Sandwich was a mess, couldn't hold it to take a bite without every condiment on my hand and fingers. Won't be visiting this location again and I recommend others order here with caution. I ordered 2 subs and a bottle of hot sauce. Apparently that isn't common there. I was accused of stealing my pick up order and showed my receipt, then after seeing that my hot sauce was missing I let them know and after they checked with their manager, I was offered a soufflé cup. So I took my bottle and left but was followed out and again accused of stealing even after they had already seen my receipt. I always enjoyed Firehouse subs, but my new job has me close to a Jersey Mike's, which has been consistently good. So, in the area, I stopped by to get a firehouse sub. I got a medium beef brisket sub combo and it came to just over 17 dollars. The sandwich took a very long time and after waiting 10 minutes, it arrived with no sauce and barely any meat. It was gross and a total waste of money. Jersey Mikes doesn't have as many options but when it comes down to friendly service and quality food, there's no comparison. If I could give it a zero I would. A coworker and myself were trying to order a sandwich when we where rudely intercepted and told we needed to leave for not wearing a mask by a young woman in the store. The stupidity that surrounds the logic of me wearing a mask in a store where they have on mask how am I going to effect you. I hope this place goes under. Went next door to fives guys no masks cut up made joke with the cooks about firehouses stupidity and unjustified harassment by the young woman working in there. Calling people "Stupid white folks". I have witnesses who are signing sworn affidavits. Had a terrible experience with this place tonight. My newly widowed dad has had a hard time getting and keeping his appetite. He hadn't eaten all day and tonight at around 8:30pm I finally get him to name something that sounded good to him, he's always loved their Hook & Ladder . We get to Firehouse, open the door and we're immediately stopped by a female employee (didn't get her name) and she says "we're closing. I looked at my phone which was in my hand and the time was 8:43pm. I then asked the girl are y'all closed or closing? And she kind of got an attitude when she replied back louder "we're closed" like I was deaf and dumb. She then grabbed the door and shut and locked it. They're supposed to be open until 9 and my dad didn't want anything else. I took him all the way back to his house without stopping anywhere else. Forgot the kids treats (thank goodness we ate in), gave my kid the butt end of the turkey slices (I realize it's sliced meat, but one whole slice had the skin part on one side like it was the very end of the meat. I've been coming to firehouse subs a long time and it's disappointing to see them starting to slide down hill. I usually don't leave bad reviews but I'm to the point I have to or there can never be any change. No greeting when you enter. No ice. No tea. Probably 1/4 teaspoon to the cups of Sorensen sauce. Sandwich not near a big as used to be. Had to go back and ask for the cookie I ordered. One guy texting on his phone instead of making orders. Very disappointed in the way they are being ran. "Welcome to fire house" was the greeting I got. Walking in it smelt delicious. The whole staff was friendly and professional I got my food in about 10 minutes. I did notice that the dinning room floors needed to be swept however, it was 1240 when I walked in right after the lunch rush. Before the CoVid Pandemic, Lakewood Village Firehouse Sub was our go-to sub restaurant about once every 2 weeks. We have tried pick up at this location in NLR twice during the pandemic, including today at 3:30 pm. The person behind the counter does NOT listen to ingredient instructions. Today's sandwich was a complete disaster and 90% wrong. My husband told them what I wanted on my sandwich and showed them my note identifying what to include and what NOT to include as telling them didn't work last time. After opening my disaster sandwich at home, I called to speak with the manager and was told she would not be in until noon the next day. The person on the phone referred to my 65 year old husband as a dude. He then told me to take off the items I didn't want. It was impossible to remove the shredded lettuce and mustard-like substance. I asked him for his name and he refused and hung up on me. We will NEVER return to the Lakewood Village NLR Firehouse Sub location! If I could have given them a ZERO rating, I would have! read more

I know places get busy and workers still want to be friendly but if the guy was paying attention to making the food instead of talking so much maybe my order wouldn't have been messed up. The subs are fantastic. I personally get the number 6 club on a sub. Place is very clean and staff are always very friendly. Only downfall in my opinion is it can take a while to get your food and that sucks if you have a short lunch. Catch up to the jimmy johns pace!!!! read more

Placed my order over the internet. Paid for it also. When we got up there to pick it up there was no order to get. Did not get an order number. I went up there and took proof that it had been withdrawn. Talked to the general manager aka franchise owner who was of no help. Was told there was no money that came in from an online order.
