I would leave a no star review. They could not get the order right. The taste was off and it was expensive. 46.00 for 2 6" and 1 12"

Ordered here on a whim just to see what YouTuber fast food tastes like. To sum up: not great. The…read morefirst thing to understand is that is not a standalone restaurant. This particular location is actually Golden Corral buffet. Not off to a great start. To get your food you need to walk all the way to the back and ask for you order from someone manning the grill. A little clumsy to say the least. We ordered the chicken tender sandwich, Chandler style burger, seasoned fries and chocolate chunk cookie. Of all these items only the burger was passable. Actually, it was pretty good. Perhaps overly salty, but a very decent rendition of a smash burger. They charge you $0.25 for ketchup (!) which I politely passed on and added myself at home. The burger gets a thumbs up. Stop reading here if you don't want this story to take a turn for the worse. The chicken tender sandwich had thick breading which made it a chore to bite into. The chicken itself was good quality and tender but the breading was a problem. The sandwich added pickles, mayo and shredded lettuce, all of which were forgettable. The seasoned fries were crinkle cut and ok but unremarkable. The seasoning added a tiny bit of spice and not much else. As for the cookie, it was an astounding $3 and hard as a rock. I don't know how you make a cookie like this but I had a bite and threw it out. Ick. In sum, $27 for a very iffy meal with no drink and had to pick it up. I could have paid $10 at Arby's and felt like I had a better experience. Putting this "place" in a buffet restaurant isn't a great idea either. Jimmy's a pretty inventive guy but this isn't his finest hour. They need to have better control of these locations and how the food is being made. How do you ruin a chocolate chip cookie? The cost is pretty outrageous too. Stick with the burger.. or skip it altogether.

I literally had to great her with a smile and say hello face to face 3x before she smiled and said hi back. Fast forward to my order. I placed it I substituted all 3 coleslaws for extra toast as my kiddos requested. When I picked up my order and took it to the table my kids were starting to eat their food and told me they were missing their extra bread . I went back to T and she ask me to bring my my whole order to the front I told her my said after my kids started eating already and stood quiet and then I said ok let me take the food away from them. She then said never mind forget it. That's when I asked for her name "May I get your name please. She said My name is T. I said thank you. She continued in front of customers asking if I have a problem with her? Me being a manager before in food and beverage was shocked for her being so confrontational in front of customers like that. I told Her no only because that is not the place to discuss that. She asked for the breads on the fly. I'm waiting for the bread she continues and said if you have a problem or have something to say about me you can ask for my manager. I said ok. Again very UNPROFESSIONAL. When I said No she should have left it alone. When I asked for her name she should have should have just stayed quiet due to the fact that she had a line of customers. I showed my employees when I was in this industry when someone asks for your name let me know if I'm available so I can approach the table while they are here and figure out what's going on and do some customer satisfaction revival to prevent any bad reviews. And if it was for a compliment then Thank Goodness but never become confrontational with a customer I front of other customers as T did bc the lady she was dealing with at that time while acting out her eyes were getting big and I saw she was getting tensed and that's why I chose to leave it alone. Otherwise the place was clean so kudos to them on this!

It took awhile to get my food with the dining room pretty slow. The teens behind the counter were busy playing on the intercom because their friends were there. Once my food was up, it was tossed at me when I walked up. My food was SALLLLLLLLLTTTYYYY. I only ate two chicken fingers and a pinch of fries. I'm gonna come back and see if my experience will be different but as of right now, it was a horrible experience. I will say, the gentleman that took my order was phenomenal, but after that it went down hill. Let me know your experience here.

It's a bit shocking, but this mall food court stall is currently my favorite Mexican restaurant in…read morethe Saint Paul area. Consistently great cooking, good technique, very fresh ingredients. I have observed them preparing lengua and cabeza on the chopping block from cryovac cuts instead of having a bunch of crap frozen in plastic wrap ready to warm up and go. Once I was there with my wife and they delayed making her simpler dish, and when asked about it it was to have everything ready and hot at the same time in our order. You know, like they would do at a restaurant. Great salsas. Best value: burrito (no surprise here). Have had different meat versions of the burrito, street tacos, torta, birria, quesadilla, probably some others, plus elotes and chips/guac. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the torta, but it turns out I just don't like tortas, not their fault. There's a Maya in Minneapolis and there used to be one in the Rosedale Mall that got closed when the mall decided to gut and refurbish the wing they were in. That place was pretty good as well but seemed to struggle, and I wonder if they wound up picking the best staff from that restaurant and the taqueria here. This food court has a number of surprises in it: Maya, Blueprint Burgers, Taste of Saigon, Charlie's, and Twin Cities Crepes & Waffles (not in the food court but in the mall) are all good places, but Maya is by far the best and most consistent, and I go out of my way just to eat there. I'm always a little angry when I go here and the longest line is for Panda Express.

Overall Score: 4/5 Solid spot for a Chicago-style fast food…read morefix. Messy, greasy, and flavor-forward in the way you want. Food [2/3] Let's talk flavor and execution. Philly Sandwich Steak - This was a well-built sandwich. The onions, peppers, steak, and cheese came together in a cohesive mix, so each bite included a little of everything rather than feeling uneven or scattered. The cheese melted into the filling nicely, acting almost like a binder that brought the flavors together. The roll looked oversized at first, but its soft, airy texture created an excellent meat-to-bread ratio. My only criticism is that the beef seemed slightly overcooked, which introduced a touch of dryness. That may vary from sandwich to sandwich, but it was noticeable here. The sandwich can feel a bit heavy bite-after-bite. Italian Beef Sandwich with The Works - "The Works" included hot peppers, dipped in broth, and American cheese. Presentation-wise, this sandwich did not make the best first impression. The pale roll and heavily soaked exterior were not especially appealing visually, and with the extra dip, this is absolutely a sandwich best eaten fresh on-site rather than taken to go. But the first bite changed everything. The jus soaked into the bread and delivered a rush of flavor, while the beef was sliced and portioned in a way that made every bite feel substantial and satisfying. The giardiniera brought welcome heat and acidity, cutting through the richness and keeping the sandwich from feeling too heavy. The American cheese stayed in the background, but that actually worked to the sandwich's advantage by allowing the broth and beef to remain the focal point. This was the standout item, and easily the reason I would return. Cheese Curd - These were lightly battered, which let the cheese take center stage. For a fast-food setting, they were quite good and better than expected. Breaded Mushrooms - These are good if you miss and crave breaded mushrooms. Biting into these, one would expect a hot oily broth to flow out adding to the mushroom flavor, but there was no broth and the mushroom flavor was light. The marinara type sauce didn't pair well, so I did get a side of ranch to dip these in. Would order these again only if I crave bread mushrooms. Service[1/1] Service was exactly what it needed to be for a fast-food restaurant: prompt, clear, and helpful. The cashier took my order efficiently, clarified the available add-ons for the Italian beef, and responded well when I asked for a water cup. When I came back for ranch, he accommodated that request without issue. It was not full-service dining, nor should it be judged as such, but it met the standard for good quick-service hospitality. Atmosphere/Ambiance[0/1] The dining area is functional but not inviting. Seating is limited to a handful of booths and a small round table, and while the tables had been cleared, they were not especially clean. Flickering menu boards added to the worn fast-food feel, and the steady presence of people coming in to use the ATM created a somewhat distracting atmosphere. It gets the job done, but ambiance is not part of the appeal here.
