Since we only wanted to eat light that day, we just shared one small pizza, but I am excited to go back to one of their locations near my home now to try their other dishes. Their deep dish pizza tasted just like the Chicago deep dish with its pie like crust! The only different is that this pizza does have the toppings more on the top rather than inside the pizza like a pie. Either way, it was delicious and I can't wait to get it another time! They had a special Valentine's Day menu. It was to DIE for. Wasabi whipped potatoes, goat cheese and spinach tart, vegetable wellington, dark chocolate frangelico cups, and so much more. We ordered a couple of local beers; she gave wifey a chocolate for Mother's Day too! When she asked if we wanted a menu we balked for a moment. However I'm glad she did ask! Neither of us was too hungry, but she wanted a nibble. So she ordered a bowl of NE clam chowder. So glad she did! Bartender said it's homemade and told a funny story too. I figured I'd follow suit and though it was a bit light in the bacon department I found it quite flavorful. Just enough briny goodness to balance with the velvety creaminess.
