    Gift card special
    Peter M.

We recently went back to the UNO's in Portland after not going there for many years, and we enjoyed it, so while we were in Bangor for an appointment we decided to try that branch of the chain. It did not let us down. Our server was great. I ordered a raspberry tea for a change of pace and she brought an extra glass of ice because she knew the ice sometimes melted quickly in tea. It actually didn't melt as fast as she feared, but I still appreciated her proactive move. As a side note, as with soda, you get a free refill on the iced tea. UNO's has a fairly varied menu, but I must confess I always had their signature deep dish pizza back in the past when we went there semi-regularly, and for my two return visits recently, I have ordered the same. If we go often enough I expect to venture elsewhere in the menu. We were there for lunch this time, so we opted for the lunch pizza special. You get the same personal deep dish pizza as with dinner, but it includes a salad or soup and is a much lower price. We had slightly different pizzas, but we both ordered the pumpkin bisque soup to lead off. It was wonderful. The pizza of course was as good as always, and we brought home half of each for a second meal (breakfast of champions!?).. The only downside of the trip was a management thing: they had a special where you receive a $10 gift card with a purchase of a $50 card, but they wouldn't let us do it with two $25 dollar gift cards. Not sure what the difference is, but we settled for one, so the second person on our list won't receive our encouragement to give UNO's a try. We will send them somewhere else, I guess. There are certainly no shortage of good restaurants in the area.

    French Onion soup

Welcomed upon entering. Not very busy at 12:30 in the afternoon. Very kind server. Polite and attentive. Good music playing in the background. Clean establishment. Food was good. Had a kids pepperoni pizza and French onion soup. Soup seemed to have croutons in it. A bit tough. It was hot and tasty otherwise. Apparently the pizza was kid friendly. It was all eaten.

Cheese stick vs Chicago deep dish come on.

Worst pizza and price was crazy. Look at the pics, it said Chicago deep dish laughable, I would of rather of had a store bought dollar pizza from the frozen section. Cheese sticks were better than the pizza. Just a follow up nobody ever contacted me like they said they would. Look again how flat their pizza is. We got one Chicago deep dish and breadsticks for 60.00 delivered. That's 12 hot and ready from little Caesars I should of done that and just stacked them and made a deep dish. Same price. Look at my pics order any place else. Read my other reviews, I am more than fair.

Much better service and experience this time around. Got food and drinks in a reasonable amount of time. Not the fastest service but not slow enough to complain. They had a good selection of beers available and it was tough to choose what food to have to eat. So many options sounded good but, I ended up going with the chicken pesto sandwich. It was a good tasting an filling sandwich with a side of fries. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to try Uno's for the first time.

    yuck salad

I order a particular salad from here almost everyday & today was the last time i fucked around with this place. not only do i have to wait 10 extra minutes when i go inside after already waiting 20, but the salad i got today had lettuce in it that looked like a 10 year old cut it. If i'm paying almost $20 for a salad, it should be good and fresh. It sucks because i really like the salad , but for the price i should be getting better.

I have been numerous times and have never written a review. This is on Dinner and Breakfast: I have considered it my "hidden gem" but after tonight's meal I simply MUST share with everyone! They had a special Valentine's Day menu. It was to DIE for. Wasabi whipped potatoes, goat cheese and spinach tart, vegetable wellington, dark chocolate frangelico cups, and so much more. I had a bite of it all from my table. We all cleared our plates and I told the chef to put the potatoes and wellington on the regular menu. Typically they have wonderful specials and are always worth going for. I have never had a bad meal there. I usually end up with a pasta or seafood dish- they are always so unique and flavorful. Dishes range from traditional Italian, to Indian, to Irish, to French, even Thai and typical American with a twist. The hamburgers are huge and my family loves them (I do not eat meat- only seafood), the steak is always my fathers favorite (very juicy), and its hard to mess up a Caesar salad but they do it perfectly there!
