It the cleanest, but what IGA is? The staff are all very young, college students I guess and it always seems well staffed, never waited in line. They have hand written signs everywhere like "plainclothes police walking in store" which cracks me up considering how small the store is my imagination runs to some poor cop walking around 4 aisles for 8 hours. Now the meat department (sans deli ready cooked meals) look good and next time I'll go for a steak or the like. Looks like they must use a local butcher or do it themselves as they have more cuts of meat then I've ever seen at a grocery store. Also have beer, wine and liquor, and a great selection at that. So stay tuned for part 2 and hopefully better. But remember, stay away from the rotisserie chicken.....

The bread was somewhat dry (especially the crust), the chicken salad itself was also dry as well. It was not flavorful, either. My husband's club sandwich had too much mayonnaise on it, so he ended up donating some of his mayo to my dry sandwich cause. (I didn't try his sandwich, but since his was toasted, he didn't experience the same dry bread issues). The deli seating area and bathroom was clean, and the staff were friendly and the service was fast. I probably would give this another try someday if we needed to have lunch on the way up again, and I'd get something entirely different to compare.

The bbq pulled pork, the mac and cheese were fine, and I didn't risk trying the dumplings, chicken fingers, French fries or chicken pot pie. The desserts, of course were also okay. The chicken broccoli Alfredo and the pineapple rice chicken dish were also okay. No doubt I would have liked it much more if it came with a few of my own comfort food favorites, such as meatballs, kielbasa and peppers/onion, pasta dishes such as spaghetti, American chop suey or lasagna - well, I could go on. The key is to check on Facebook and see what they are cooking for the buffet before you make plans.

She looked at me, plastered on a fake smile and said in a fake voice, "thanks for coming in and I hope you guys have a great day". So freaking fake it was ridiculous and rubbed me the wrong way, you work in the service industry and shouldn't treat customers with that type of attitude. Should've just gone to McDonald's for this sub par food and customer service.
