Creamy, silky, plump, and riding that rice like they've been together since high school. Let me be clear: You don't know fried chicken gumbo. You think you do. The chicken is large, meaty, crispy and seasoned so well, but not greasy! And then there's the biscuits. I'm pretty I've never felt the need to take a picture of a BISCUIT but that's exactly what happened. I hope you can see the flaking, dense, buttery sensation that they've created! We took a dozen to-go for our RV trip. Now, when we are visiting family in Baton Rouge, from Dallas, we will be making a point to stop here for a meal. The door to the safe still exists, and they've repurposed the inside of the safe to a cute little semi-private seating nook.
