**Below average Subway** Food: Mediocre but what you would expect from Subway. Not sure how other Subways are but the items that were display were the veggies. The meats and cheeses were unable to be seen; which I found very odd. Condiments has other sauce residue on the lids were then transferred to my sandwich, i.e. I asked for no mustard but since there was mustard residue on the salt and pepper shakers it touched and transferred to my sandwich. Very unpleasant and unsettling. Service: Annoyingly comical. Very impatient and unorganized even though everything is prepared in a way to help streamline the process. Kept getting orders mixed up and it was very difficult to understand. Ambiance: This is a Subway. Nothing special but at least it was clean and no sticky tables. On the Subway app I placed an online order for Tuna sub sandwich combo at Subway #27320 600 S. Victoria Avenue in Oxnard. On the Subway app I specifically requested that the multi grain bread be toasted along with specific sides to be added onto the sandwich.I went in to pick up my online order and when I opened the sandwich wrapping the multi grain bread was stone cold. I went up to the counter and asked nicely if they could please re do the sandwich, when a young Hispanic girl argued and said No! That I ordered it not to be toasted on my online order. I asked for the manager and was told they were not there. I asked for a refund and she refused to give me one. I told her I had been to other Subways in Ventura County and never had this problem before. The young woman snapped back "I can't speak for other Subways, this is how we do it! I asked her isn't Subway a Corporation, and shouldn't they have the same policy at all Subways? That's when the other woman server spoke up and offered to remake my sandwich. When I got to finally eat the sandwic, I opened up the sandwich wrapping and noticed the bread was slightly warm and not hot and half of my toppings I requested were not on the sandwich.I was extremely disappointed with not only the quality of the sandwich but the lack of customer service at that Subway.I strongly feel that the manager at the Victoria Avenue Subway in Oxnard needs to re- train their employees on customer service and making the sandwiches correctly to the customer's order read more

When I arrived to subway i was the only customer in the store. The worker was sitting down on her phone and kept talking and barely acknowledged me. Took maybe 2-3 minutes until she got up but when she did she started taking out breads and still had not said anything. It wasn't until after when she finally took my order and I was about to walk out of the store and eat across the street instead. I travel for business and when I get to my hotel late in the evening, I often stop by a Subway. Since it's the end of the day most stores are usually packing up and getting ready to leave. Not this Subway! In all my years of eating at Subway, I've never seen the food prep area so clean and orderly. And this was 30 min before they close. I wanted to take a picture it was so organized but didn't want the two nice ladies to think I was strange. So, I told them how nice the prep area looked instead. BTW, the sandwich was great. I was in the area with my family and wanted to stop by to get something quick to eat and saw Subway was the only thing open. I went on yelp to check reviews bc Subway is notorious for bad reviews but pleasantly surprised when I saw 4 stars. Tony helped me and was thorough with his hand washing/sanitizing. A nice clean subway. People here were nice. My daughter got a kids meal. They had run out of the toys that come with it so they have her a cookie instead. I'm only giving it one star because there isn't a bathroom. Although I'm not sure how many subways have bathrooms. read more

This is the best Subway in the area. There is one across from my house, but I drive the extra 5 minutes to go to this one. Good customer service and the "sandwich artists" don't have attitude like some other locations. Fast, efficient, and really good. The store is always clean! Everything always fresh! read more

Very disappointed they were out of Spinach, which is one reason why I didn't rate this location above avg. Half the employees behind the counter were lackluster and didn't feel like "making my sandwich" and kept passing it along despite no one being in there. However, they were really nice to remind me about the $5 footlong special when I ordered a 6" sub. Its always nice when employees point out specials and actually listen to customers. read more

I like this subway alot. The employees are really nice and do a good job making your sandwich. During lunch hour it can get very busy but these guys move pretty quick to get stuff done. Tony is my favorite there hes very friendly and personable. read more

On of the few Subways that doesn't offer a customer restroom. I walked in and asked if I could use the restroom before I ordered my sandwich. I was told there is no public restroom. I walked out. You can always tell an owner that does not care for their customers, and this is a great example. Will not be back. read more

I ordered food for my siblings and I. On the board it said when you buy a meal you get a free cookie. Me and my siblings each got a meal, at the cashier the cashier charged us for the cookies. I told him that he was charging us and he yelled at me and said "the cookies are free". I went home and he charged me for 6 cookies when I got 3 and those 3 were suppose to be free. I will never go back and highly will not recommend. I'm upset that the man charged me 8$ instead of 0$. read more

I hardly ever write a review for Subway since they all seem the same to me. Nothing stands out for me to go out of my way to write a review. Until I went to this location. Hands down probably my favorite location. The guy (probably the owner) that was making my food was so nice. Unfortunately I came at a bad time because they didn't have a lot of the bread available. He said he was cooking some which didn't really upset me since I know they're probably super busy and I know they keep everything fresh. The place looked super clean, and everything looked really up to date! If it was closer to my house I'd probably be going to this location more often. read more
