Historically, I've not been a fan of Subway. So I was pleasantly surprised when visiting this store today and everything went like clockwork (and good food.) It was a little after 6pm when I went in. And surprised to find no other patrons in the store. The sole worker I saw immediately stepped up take my order, then set out assembling it. Black Forest Ham Sub, 12". White Bread. All toppings. Including Jalapeño. Toasted. Slathered with Mayo. And I was gone in less than 10 minutes. Back at home, the Black Forest Ham Sub was excellent. I will certainly be repeating that. read more

Worst customer service, kid making the sandwich didn't speak and only one person could operate the register.

This has to be one of the worst Subways that I have ever been to. First visit: My husband and I walked up to the counter and the girls says with an actual rude demeanor, "what do you want?" Second and last: ordered a regular through the app (not a chopped salad - actually thought that they weren't doing those anymore) and they chopped it so small that it looked like it was a mix for a sandwich. Tried to call about it after my husband returned home with the food but they, for a day and a half, have not answered the phone. I mean, there are a few other subways in the area so ,no love lost there. read more

Stopped at this Subway on the way from Richmond to Busch Gardens for breakfast, and I have to say the experience was less than what I expected it would be. The layout is your typical Subway, small tables near the door, counter where they make your subs, chip rack, etc., though add a very low thermostat temperature to it to get a good idea of what it was like. My lady friend and I were two of only four customers in the place at the time, though our order took forever to be made (having only one employee is understandable at non-peak business hours, though you should ensure that one employee is capable of being quick). When my friend asked for coffee, the employee responded "Oh, I don't know if it's working or not". Really? You don't know if your Keurig coffee maker is functional, despite the likelihood that many of your AM customers are going to request it? That's unfortunate. She waited for a few moments to see if my friend would change her drink order, though when she didn't, the employee attempted to fiddle with the machine for a while. Keurigs are notoriously simple to use, yet the fiddling process took over 8 minutes and she only managed to produce a 3/4 full coffee cup for my friend. I don't see a position at Starbucks in her future. The food was good, despite having to wait a lengthy period of time to receive it. If your only concern is getting breakfast food and everything else be damned, this place will take care of that for you. Otherwise, keep on driving. Overall: 2.0 stars -------------- Pros: - Food is good, typical Subway quality. - Lots of parking in the lot outside. Cons: - One of the worst service experiences I've had in a long time. How do you not know if you have coffee to serve your AM guests? Kind of basic. I go to this one pretty often and it is consistently one of the better subways I have been to. The place is always clean and the folks always greet me. Some are friendlier than others but no one is ever rude. Food is always prepared following my directions with no issues. Top employee is JD as he is always friendly and efficient! read more

For customer service, this subway gets 2 stars. It was the lunch rush. There were not enough employees working, and those that were working were moving at a snail's pace. If you know. It's a weekday and it's lunchtime, and you're busy during lunch, staff accordingly. Also, train your employees to have a sense of urgency when the line is to the door. Pick up the pace and move people along. With that being said, my sandwich was very good. The produce was fresh and it was prepared as asked. We stopped here while driving home from a trip, so I probably won't be stopping here again. If you do stop here, don't do it during the lunch rush! read more

Clean shop. I came in on a Saturday night and the staff was polite and helpful. Sandwich was made quick and it was fresh. They had a clean restroom (for you travelers needing a stop on I-64. I did note many police cars in the surrounding parking lots. But all in all, a good Subway to eat at and get a bio break. read more

I'm never coming to this subway again. I got to the register and asked for a cup for water and they gave me a little puny plastic cup. Seeing as I'm going to get my blood drawn, I asked if I could have a larger cup just for water so that I'd be hydrated enough. They said if I wanted a paper cup for water, I would have to pay $2 extra. For water. I'm not sure if this is a corporate policy or not, but either way doesn't change the fact that the employees were incredibly rude. They also didn't offer me a receipt, and I forgot to grab my chips, so I can't go back in and get them. read more

This location never honors the nationwide promotions that are available. Workers are rude and abrupt when asked questions...they act like you are bothering them, even when there are no other customers there. read more

Worst Subway ever. During this COVID-19 outbreak, I have been trying to support my local businesses, I have used the app twice to order from this store. Both times they got my order wrong. With the second wrong order I complained online, instead of trying to correct the issue, they asked me not to return to this store. Why would I with this repeat of poor service? read more

Ridiculous loud music! This is the country not an urban location. Other than that it's a Subway like all others

The employee was rude and put no effort into my order. When I walked up to the counter, the employee just stared at me and said nothing. After I began go order they added ingredients I didn't ask for and when I pointed this out, they passive-aggressively blamed me saying "you're gonna need to speak louder." I didn't see any dressings or condiments anywhere, so I don't bother asking for it. The sandwich was horribly wrapped. As soon as I pulled it out of the bag, it opened up and spilled the toppings everywhere. I would give it one star, but the food itself (once I put it back together myself) lives up to the usual subway standards. read more

Unusually love Subway. This location was terrible. They were rude and very sloppy. Usually subway is fairly precise abo to how they make the sandwiches but this location literally just threw the stuff on scattering ingredients across the counter and even the floor. Came in tonight because it was an easy stop off the highway. The young man working behind the counter didn't even try to care, and the two other kids barely poked their heads out to help. The girl was coughing all over, which made me feel super comfortable. I worked at a subway as a kid and I can count 3 separate health code violations. Touching his phone then touching the meat was just one. Moreover he overcharged us, didn't give us the sub of the day deal and didn't seem worried that both iced teas were out, as was the Dr Pepper and coke. Whoever manages this store needs to do more supervision of these kids. Let's all pray we don't get food poisoning from tonight because I wouldn't be surprised. read more

Subway has gone WAY downhill in the last few years! The chicken is a poorer quality the McDonalds. The service was terrible at this location. The veggies were gross. We both feel sick after eating there. AVOID at all costs! Food Lion next door has better sandwiches and much better prices. read more

We had traveled a long way from out of state and we were starving and found this Subway restaurant. It was 9:30pm on Wednesday 08Apr2015. When we walked in the lady behind the counter rolled her eyes. While she was ringing us up she said to her colleague, "as soon as these people leave we're locking the door." She asked if we would like a bag for our food and I said "no, we were just going to eat it here." She looked up at the clock and said we're almost closed. I said, "oh, the door said you're open until 10:00". She said no we close at 9:45 because we need to be out at 10:00. I have never heard of such a thing. You can tell they don't own the restaurant because an owner would take pride in their business and respect the customers that walk through the door. I think if the employees need to be out at 10:00, then for the kindness to the customers, the time on the door should say it closes at 9:30, to allow the staff to clean up and leave at 10:00. I'm sure I'll never be passing through this town in the near future but if I were, I'd not stop at this Subway. Shameful. read more
