Around 4pm my Family decided to eat here. It's called "Chef's Table inside. It's nice cozy restaurant you can either sit inside or outside , there also a little place in the middle where you can also dine inside. We first greeted by Raquel, Raquel helped us to be seated she was so sweet! Our waiter was Blaine, he asked us if we had any questions and we did. He answered them so beautifully! We ordered European Seabass mixed vegetables and rice, Norwegian Salmon broccoli, carrots and rice, Baked Atlantic Cod mixed vegetables and rice, Beef Stroganoff with broccoli and carrots. For dessert we got 3 lemons bars . Everything was super delicious! Blaine was super polite, sweet, kind, caring, super down to earth! Blaine has this super positive energy about himself that really radiates! As we were finishing up the Chef Harold came to our table so sweet & kind of him! He had asked if everything was ok? It wasn't ok! It's was spot on delicious, the dishes were so savory, we really enjoyed our meals!! Their price points are spot on & the portions are great too! The ordering process was easy enough, but the next part was a little confusing. The clerk at the cash register mentioned that to wait and we'd be called when the order was ready. However, I was trying to figure out how I'd get my salad when I had the choice of salad bar items. My husband suggested I go up to the counter and show my ticket. The clerk from the cash register asked me if I wanted to get my salad and I said yes. She then asked me if I wanted romaine or spring mix. I opted for the spring mix and then commenced with my food options from the salad bar. Once I had finished with the salad, I then joined my husband in waiting for his wrap. There was a large party in front of us that we didn't realize we were waiting on for them to get their food first. I'd say in total we waited about 10 minutes. The restaurant was clean and the staff were busy with ensuring that everything was fresh for the salad bar as well as cleaning up and stocking items (straws, napkins, etc.). They definitely were of the mind of keeping busy and not standing around idle. Once order was in hand, we took it back to the hotel and ate there. My salad was very good and my husband's wrap was also very filling and tasty. I'll definitely be coming back to this place in the future. The food is good and high quality. Just wish we had something like this back in Whittier, I think it'd be very popular.

The tuna had a faint taste of rotten citrus, and the salmon was fishy. Crab was OK. The woman at the cash register was super nice but the woman who served my friend was extremely rude and kept rolling her eyes at her when she asked a question about a topping because they have literally no menu or labels for what you're getting. We returned our food shortly after and they were very nice about it.

Steak was exceptionally cooked, rice and beans were delicious. It even came with a mini chimichanga that was amazing. The wife ordered 2 shrimp tacos and the shrimp were jumbo size with great spices and they were a meal in its self. This place is amazing and they have a really huge bar area. Even though I don't drink. I will be returning real soon!! Service was great as well.

However, I have to give 3 stars for the overall execution of my meal. I had a half of a Hammer sandwich which was about $8. It's ham, soppressata, cheese, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, dijon, vinegar, oil, garlic sauce. Unfortunately, I felt that my sandwich came with skimpy toppings. I got a pretty thinly stacked layer of ham and 2 little ovals of soppressata. The cheese was barely present. I also would have loved more tomato. I got a good amount of lettuce and banana peppers, though! Unfortunately, I just couldn't taste the meat and cheese toppings super well due to their being not much of them on the sandwich. The flavor of all the other ingredients were good, though. My friend got the Scramwich on Foccacia for $14. Looking at it, I could also tell it had not much proscuitto. Upon further inspection opening one of the halves of the sandwich... it was definitely only a few little smaller pieces of proscuitto. (The other toppings were on the other piece of bread, don't worry, those were fine) Sorry for the ugly photo - hard to really capture it without dissecting the thing. I also just noticed while looking at the photo again that one of the pieces of arugula also had black spots on it... Definitely not very fresh. My friend still enjoyed the foccacia, sundried tomatoes, and other toppings, but also felt there wasn't enough proscuitto. For the price, I would hope for a sufficient amount of meat. Heard a lot of hype about Quisty's and I see great potential in their quality and concepts! With better execution I'd definitely consider coming back. It's just hard to justify paying as much as we did for sandwiches that were skimpy on arguably one of the most important toppings!
