The lady that claimed to be the manager made a comment about how she was so glad people weren't using coupons anymore because it was weeding out the trash that was coming unto her store. After seeing the coupon in my hand. She then said she would have to charge my husband extra if he wanted more spinach. I posted the pictures he has maybe 6 pieces on each side of his FL. The music that was playing belonged in a strip club not in a family restaurant. HOPEFULLY SOMETHING IS DONE ! Update spoke with the "store manager " who informed me that I could make a complaint to subway but sense they are a franchise the complaint will just go to her and the owner will NEVER be informed. She also tried to justify her comments about the rift raf that use coupons. Saying that indeed the rift raf uses coupons and cause trouble in the store and in the parking lot. This lady is EXTREMELY unprofessional and tried to put words in my husband's mouth. Both her and her rude employee seemed more concerned with listening to their sexually explicit music and getting us out of there as fast as possible so they could use their drugs. was my go to subway, this day i stop there for 2 footlongs, lady with tatoos, red, orange and green hair was about to take my order. I ask if she was required to wear hair net as I did not want her hair in my food. She went off on me, said she knew my ass was trouble when I walked through the door, she requested i go to another subway other than the south alpine location in Rockford IL. the other 2 ladies that had helped me previously just stood there and let this weird woman go off on me. I asked for her name she said none of my dam business. I could not get a word in, she was like on crack or drugs as I could not get a word in, she was shouting and calling me names. my only question was are you required to wear a hair net. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS LOCATION AT 3269 SOUTH ALPINE RD, ROCKFORD, IL STORE #2890, i am a loyalty member, i go at least 2 times a month. had never seen this person before. I believe the other 2 workers was scared of her due to the way they just stood there and not say a word. I even tried to talk to them, they knew me from previous visits. highly do not recommend this location! ordered a protein bowl, and I got a bowl with the amount of lettuce that they put on a 6" inch sub sandwich and a few meatballs. when I questioned them on where the lettuce and spinach was I was told they are only to put amount of lettuce used on a sandwich! this person clearly doesn't understand how a prot bowl is to be made and when question why 10.00for what I received, I was told it was for the meatballs.... The staff has horrible customer service. They are very rude to customers. I just had a horrible experience. I order 4 sandwiches that were supposed to have double meat and were supposed to be toasted and none of them were made according to ticket. My tickets were on the floor and they refused to pick them up. One of my sandwiches couldn't even be made because they ran out of ingredients for it. read more

I went in with my family and they treated us like we were a nuisance to have. The two employees there tonight knew nothing about what they were selling and didn't speak up and spoke too fast. Went to the S. Alpine store yesterday and ordered a sandwich to go. I'm presuming the store manager was there at the cash register (light-skinned African-American woman) exercised a severe attitude problem when I was waiting for my sandwich to be completed. I had requested extra onions and she was looking at it like I had just committed a robbery there. Completely shameful. Rude, nasty, and a complete turnoff. Also, she tried to hurry me up (twice) to which I replied, "I'll be there when I'm ready." I observed the other staff working there and by the looks on their faces they didn't enjoy working there. This sub shop used to be really great to go for lunch. Not anymore. This alleged "store manager" is a disgrace. Never going there again. read more

06/10/2019 at 11:28 Am: My family and I stopped to get gas and eat at the same time at the gas station next to the Subway. I chose this location just because of the Subway and Gas Station. We were driving from Milwaukee to different state, so after 3 hours of driving, the first thing that we wanted to do is "going to the restroom" before eat. I am sure that everyone of us would do the same. My family of 6 went to the restroom while I was waiting by the door, The manager of Subway came to me and asked "yall gonna order here or no". I said that was the plan and thats why we were here. She kept making sure couple times and gave us the look for "poor people" I told my family that we are not gonna eat here, go to the car and wait for me. I went to tell her that we were planning to eat but not anymore, but please show me the sign that stated that "restroom is for only subway customers" and she said there is no sign. I did asked her name but she refused to give me her name. I did purchase a drink just to keep the proof of the location, the time and everything. read more

Visited this Subway restaurant for lunch today ordered a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup a 6 inch piece of Italian cheese bread and a small drink they charged me $3.50 for the piece of bread and the soup was scorched and had burned chunks of cheese in it. My total bill for the three items was almost $10 ridiculous $3.50 for a piece of bread! And the soup was terrible it was burned it was terrible. read more
