Me and 4 other people were in there Saturday around 3/4 ish. We walked in and a young woman working there, she had blonde braided hair, I think her name was Kennedy. Anyways she stared straight through us as we walked in in amaze and I said hello how are you and she ignored me and said how many? I said 3 because two of us ate less than an hour or two ago. She asked what bread and one of us says Italian and she gives us all three white bread. The person saying Italian was cut off by her when he was trying to say Italian herbs and cheese... instead he got cut off by her saying okay white. Us three start ordering what is on our subs and everytime any of us spoke she immediately spoke in the middle of our sentence and said okay what's next. She was very rude and acted like it was so horrible for her to do her job she gets paid to do. It's actually very sad because I go into subway a lot and her rudeness might of made me just never come back again. If you don't know how to be nice then you don't need to be in customer service. It was not only that one singular time either because I had friends who came in earlier that day and said she was the exact same way: slamming the bread down, not letting customers speak before she would ask what's next, overall she was very rude and that is the only time anyone has ever been rude to me at subway! read more

This is a very funny and sad case of extremely poor customer service. I ordered a 6" BMT, and noticed they had two different containers/bottles of sweet onion sauces. One had Sweet Onion typed on the top of the bottle, while the other Sweet Onion Teriyaki. I politely asked the blond lady making the sandwich, if the Sweet Onion was just Sweet Onion and no Teriyaki...she clearly said yes. So I requested the Sweet Onion sauce on my BMT...it came out dark brown, and I politely enquired that the Sweet Onion sauce is a light translucent brown, not dark brown. They seemed confused. When I tasted the sandwich...it was Sweet Onion Teriyaki sauce...yuck on a BMT, due to the teriyaki. So I politely went back to the counter and indicated the Sweet Onion sauce had Teriyaki in it. They acted very aggressively toward me...would not let me talk, constantly raised their voices as I asked if I could finish my point...they instead said I can leave or they will call the Police. I politely said, please do call the Police, so they can see there are two different typed Sweet Onion sauces in their prep area...they did not call...and they would not replace the sandwich nor offered a refund. Unbelievable experience regarding Sweet Onion sauce. For Everybody's information, Subway used to have just a Sweet Onion sauce with no Teriyaki. It was my go to sauce on the BMT. About 4-5 years ago Subway replaced the Sweet Onion sauce with Sweet Onion Teriyaki...again not good on a BMT. So, one can deduce my excitement when I saw the has just Sweet Onion sauce. The blonde lady did mention at one point (while interrupting me) that the sometimes run out of the typed caps of the Sweet Onion Teriyaki...and use the Sweet Onion marked caps...geez...why didn't she say that about 10 minutes ago...when I asked about the Teriyaki. Also, the vegetables in the bin used to make sandwiches had brownish lettuce, not very appetizing. I hope Subway management sees this review and puts some training resources towards this location. One should not be threatened by Subway workers to call the Police because they were not on the ball with their ingredients...shame on this location for this type of atrocious behavior towards long time (40 years), customers. read more

Ordered mobile order. When I got it home. It was totally wrong. I specifically removed lettuce from my order due to food intolerance. Asked for spinach instead. Sandwich looked like it had just been thrown together. Covered in lettuce no spinach to be seen. Alice's avocado turned into avocado mash. Called store and manger aid that the lettuce was checked even though I can see my order detail. She was very short with her response and never offered to make it right. Never again. read more

This restaurant has become to be awful. They are limiting the vegetables on the subs while still charge premium prices. Subway standard is 6 tomatoes on a footlong sub. Every time I have visited lately they cut 3 tomatoes in half and put them on the sub or only place the 3 tomatoes out across the entire sub. They get defensive if you ask for extra onions or green peppers and start talking about vegetables shortage. I then over heard the management tell the employee to NOT put any amount of vegetables on any subs. And said by skimming subs all day they were increasing their profits and saving hundreds per month by shorting customers. This is disgraceful. Especially with the footlong sub meals now being more expensive than dinner at a better quality and more appropriated steakhouse restaurant. I DO NOT recommend supporting this facility until they change their practices and start appropriating their customers better. I have been driving 12 miles north to Subway in Boone's Mill to a different franchise and they are wonderful and better respectful to their customers. And I urge others to do the same. read more

Horrible attitudes from the smart mouthed employees I encountered while there today caused me to walk out without my subs and ensured that I will not buy subs there again. I guess "customer service" is a lost skill nowadays. read more

Placed an order in the app, waited outside and it said it was ready and someone would bring it out. Then still waited, called inside and the phone was given to a very rude manager and said the curbside was not available at the store, but the app said it was and allowed me too. Also had to wait for the food to be made once I got inside even though on the app it said it was ready. read more

Placed an order on the app, selected curbside pickup..... showed up 5 min before the due time, checked in on the app and waited..... for 15 minutes after it showed my order was ready!! Had to walk inside to get and it was sitting on the counter just waiting..... why didn't they bring it out? 4 people working, 2 customers inside.... why were we waiting for our order that was done yet not brought out? You know what to expect from subway, but this restaurant in Rocky Mount has two things no other store in the area has- Seafood sensation, and s staff that will advise you and they are always pleasant! I drive down from Roanoke just to get the seafood and get the added benefit of great service. Thanks- great job!! read more

Normally this establishment is "OK". But Last Friday evening it was just a joke, and have forever lost my business due to their disrespect. Sarah the lead person (can not call her the manager, because she had zero management skills. We walked in and their was a line, Friday night, its to be expected, but Sarah is up hooting and hollering with what seemed to be friends of hers. After she finished that, she decided online orders was her sole priority, and she announces that she has 7 online orders she needs to get caught up (their was 4 employees on the floor) and we (and the rest of the line would have to wait.) Then she tersely ask if we gonna wait, and we said "I guess we will have to" And Sarah (if that's her real name) says with attitudes like that you can just leave and she proceeded to throw us, a elderly couple (70s) and another man out . And to top it off she also decided to discipline an young man right in front of us because he joked with the same people she was joking with when we arrived. Telling him we don't have time for that we are busy, And telling him to get back to work. With 4 people why did she not put two on online orders and 2 on front duty. People are willing to wait if they see you are working, And if you ask a question, and they answer it they do not deserve to be kicked out. Shame on this Subway and the owner who allows this type of behavior. read more

Bread is always old. Service has gotten better in the last 5 months before tht people were so rude. I live in the area and i prefer to drive 25 min to boones mill because they are alwys polite and the tuna and other are so fresh its crazy the difference between the two places. read more

Unfortunately have to give 1 star or will not let post review. Not worth 1!! Went to subway in Rocky Mount va on March 22nd and found a string in my sub. I know it came from Subway as prior to being in store the Manager, Jamie, had to pick fuzz etc off of her employees shirt while she was making my sub!!!! I reached out by email and owner told me he would send coupons to replace. Eveb offered picture to show. Texted per his request and nothing. Resent email and text April 15th and still NO response from anyone. Very poor Customer Service. Not surprising from other claims I have seen lately! Will NOT eat from this location again! read more

I waited in line for 20 mins with only 3 people in front of me. When i sat at my table my soup was ICE cold and the employees were not sympathetic AT ALL. The bread is not fresh and employees don't know what they are doing and are very rude. read more
