This was a big let down today. I usually get sandwiches at Jersey Mike's or Jimmy John's because, quite honestly, they re both higher quality meats and veggies than Subway. But I had time, was hungry and was waiting for my wife right next door to a Subway so I thought I'd give em a try. Again. I wanted a bowl. It's been 5-6 years since I'd had one but basically they take the ingredients of a sandwich, sans the bread, chop them all up in a steel bowl with a mezzaluna, then add the lettuce, a bit of dressing and viola! You have a bowl. Pretty much low carb and tasty. Well, first off they dumped lettuce in a small plastic serving bowl, plus the remaining veggies, including whole slices of tomato, spinach and red onion slivers. Then he took the meats and sorta tried to slice them with an obviously dull knife, which failed to cut them at all. This was then dumped on top of veggies with four half slices of provolone and a small amount of my chosen dressing, plus a bit more lettuce on top of that, and that was it! Nothing was mixed together. The meat, once I started eating was mostly large chunks all stuck together, big slices of cheese that were anything but bite sized and very little dressing. This made it very difficult to eat with a plastic fork. I also bought a bottle of water. The cost of this meal? Nearly $18.00!!! It was very disappointing to say the least. I'll not come back to this Subway. In fact I'll probably not ever go to another Subway ANYWHERE. I'll stick with Jersey Mikes or Jimmy John's where they aren't as concerned with pinching pennies by serving inferior fake meats and old, not fresh veggies. read more

We have always enjoyed going to Subway, but we will never go back to the one located in Sedro-Woolley, Wa., We ordered 3 cold cut combos, one on a wrap. Not only were they out of cold cut combos, they were out of olives, and he didn't put the cheese we requested 3 times on 2 of them. The employee was really rude that helped us. He wasn't listening to what we were saying and kept asking the same questions over and over. He did not change his gloves. When we asked for extra vegetable on the sandwich sandwiches, he barely put any. He then threw our sandwiches counter which unwrapped the sandwiches. when we then opened our sandwiches the guacamole that of sandwiches was disgusting tasted like vinegar and brown. overall was a bad experience and not be eating here again. read more

Really disappointed in this Subway. They seem to be notorious for getting online orders wrong. How can you mess up a sandwich when the steps are listed right in front of you? Zero stars if I could. Two men on staff, neither spoke a lick of English. One was giving directions to the other in another language. I had to stop one fella repeatedly to motion him to not put something ON the sandwich or to take something OFF the sandwich. The other sandwich was a disaster. sandwiches were not toasted, even though that's how they were ordered. My churro was uncooked doused in cinnamon and sugar. When I called the store to tell them of these issues they let it ring and then it said no one's available And to call back so I did then they turned the phone off. I waited a minute and I called back again by the fourth time I got a hold of someone finally they asked for my name and then hung up on me. This location used to be not bad, and now, with the new owners, they are just terrible. Tried to cheat me on double meat by only doing a regular layer of meat, but even that was very sparse. They put on as little of the vegetables as possible, as well. A sight barrier has been placed under the glass where you used to be able to see what they were doing with the meat and the cheese while putting it on the bread. Now, with the barrier, they are able to hide the quality of the meat and cheese as well as how much they put on. Or, more accurately, how little they put on. Shockingly bad. FOUR employees none of whom even looked my way. I do g even know what the hell they wet doing because I was the only person waiting. After 5 minutes, I had to ask one she was going to serve me. Then she looked up and said "I'm doing an online order" and went back to ignoring me. Another other oblivious employee behind (whom I had to ask to serve me) her slapped meat and cheese on my sandwich and then let three sandwiches go ahead of mine into the toaster. These were online orders they hadn't bothered to make and when customers showed up decided to make them as I waited. Forever. Serve the human in front of you. It was clear nobody gives a shit about their job because all I hear was their gossip and bitching. It's a job, and you are getting paid. Another one was complaining about how she had "things to do" and kept checking her phone. All of these young women need some HR training in the most BASIC of costumer service skills. Zero excuse to be this disorganized with so many people; nobody seemed remotely competent so what can I say, other than avoid this place unless desperate for food and a bathroom (which was dirty) before heading off the grid. I went here last night with my boyfriend, I order a foot long veggie, he orders a meat sub. The woman who was making the sandwhich s actually asked me "do you want me to make yours first, so it doesn't touch the meat?" In the 22 years I've been a vegetarian I have NEVER been asked that! I said "yeah?" And she actually made mine first, and was it was so good! I am still totally floored by her thoughtfulness. Also the toppings were on point and the overall service was great. Subsequent to the most awful experience in the history of lunch, I was compelled to write the manager of Sedo-Woolley Subway the following email in hopes of raising awareness about the sub-standard employee practices and lack of regard for customers. I have yet to receive an apology. I guess they only issue those to customers returning incorrect orders? SHAME ON YOU SUBWAY!!! Anyhow, back to the email: My partner and I had a truly awful experience at this store. Not only did it effect my decision to discontinue patronage of the establishment, but the treatment we received was nothing short of discriminatory- causing considerable emotional distress. My partner and I are vegetarians. Meaning we abstain from all animal flesh- and cannot have any sort of meat contaminating anything we consume. Eating at Subway has never previously proved to be an issue for either of us. There are vegetarian options, and all the proper preventions against cross contamination per HACCP seemed to be in place. But apparently- according to the employee I had almost made the mistake of commissioning to create my lunch- this particular store has an aversion to following proper health and safety guidelines. As usual- I politely asked the employee to change her gloves. Reason being- that the person who starts the sandwich is also the one who is responsible for the meats and cheeses, and having just piled loads of bacon onto the previous customers sandwich, the gloves would have transferred the grease onto MY sandwich. I always make a point to apologize for any inconvenience and give a brief explanation of our dietary restrictions, so as not to mistakingly offend the employee by implying any sort of hygiene issue. It only takes a second- and our request has always been met with understanding, until our visit to Sedro Woolley Subway. This girl was angry. She literally snarled in retort to the inquiry. Her exact words, in a completely inappropriate tone and volume- "Yeah well, I'll change my gloves- but just for your information, we aren't very Jew friendly around here. There's TONS of meat mixed ALL up in these veggies anyway. Pork juice everywhere. So if you're sooooo scared of "meat germs"- I'd think twice about coming back. But I'll make your food I guess. What do you want?" I had never even used the term "meat germs". I just asked if she could change her gloves, and apologized for the inconvenience. Obviously, at this point- I didn't want anything. Aside from her admission to the restaurants lack of basic food safety application- we were humiliated publicly. The customers and employees alike were laughing at her very animated anti-Jew demonstration. She literally threw up her hands and waved them around at her mention of "meat germs". We left. It was disgusting. I am still appalled at her complete intolerance, and the disregard we were shown by the rest of the team right along with her. It honestly took 3 minutes out of the day to make us feel less than human. Definitely opting for a sack lunch this week. read more

I despise this subway. The workers are usually very lazy and unhelpful. I always get bread that should NOT be served!!! It's hard and crunchy and I never have a problem with any other subway. Also fruit flies are seen flying around the veggies. I have been treated crappy by a few different people there. One guy has been very helpful one time out of the few times I've been there. I think the place is nice..clean...but I think I've only ever encountered one friendly person who worked behind the counter. I also always get the terrible bread they should have all ready thrown away. It's dry and terrible. Also when ever I ask them to check the bread they always tell me it's fine and it's not fine. We stopped on the way home from an adventure. First off, it was so hot! The fans were going but it was still pretty warm. My five month old daughter loved the fans. As we ordered our food I'm so glad the girl who made our food was in a decent mood, because the other girl with the glasses was terrible. She was visibly frustrated and being so rude to customers and storming off and around the store. She had an attitude about every question someone asked her. After we paid and were eating the line had died down. I would have thought her mood would have changed, nope. This girl got so upset that the mayo ran out and if I were the customer she making the sand which for I would have felt so uncomfortable. Then an employee from the neighboring ampm came in and she actually said she hated working here. I mean jeeze could she be more negative. All the while the other female employee stayed busy and had a smile and even joked with us during our order. If I were the manager I'd fire the other girl, especially because she stated she hated her job. It was a bad vibe all around. I'm sure other customers felt the same. read more
