I exchanged a few emails with the manager or owner of this location. She really wasn't helpful. I got her to admit that there isn't any extra meat on the sandwich pictured (hardly any meat at all). But, she didn't offer to refund me the $3.00 I paid for extra meat on this sandwich or the sandwich I ordered just prior to that which was also missing what I paid for. Not to mention the tips.. NEVER TIP THIS PLACE UNTIL YOU GET YOUR FOOD.. Make sure they earned it, first. She offered me a couple of sandwiches which I'm guessing they would have gotten wrong or even spit in them at this point. No thanks. Since then, I have been enjoying Jersey Mike's at other locations, and they don't seem to have the same problems. Stay away from this place. Totally didn't know what those unfamiliar foods were on the printed menu and what to order. After a long while they brought us a picture menu which helped immensely. The food is good, but they cannot follow simple instructions in an online order, we request they cut the sandwiches in 1/2, yet they insist on cutting them into quarters. I work close by and have been going to this Jersey Mikes since it opened. I always use the app to order so I can quickly get my food since I only get 30 minutes for lunch. I ordered and was given a 20 minute time frame. I came in 20 minutes and they had not even started my sandwich, then they said they had to help those in line first and 15 minutes later I finally got my sandwich. No apology, nothing even though I had ordered before the people in line. I won't be going back because I don't have the time for lunch to hassle with the wait, that's why I order ahead of time. read more

I'm a big Jersey Mike's fan and I advocated for it over Subway when my family wanted to pick up sandwiches for our picnic at Mount Baker. We decided to get one of the giant subs after we were told that we could make each half a different sandwich. My brother and I chose the turkey and provolone while my parents had one of the meat combos. They were able to cut our sandwich into quarters and top it with whatever toppings each of would like. We appreciated the flexibility because we all like different toppings on our sandwiches. Personally, I always go Mike's Way minus the onions. I'd never had a sub without mayo and mustard before coming to Mike's and although I know that they do offer it as an add-on, I've always thought that Mike's Way was flavorful enough on it's own and I don't miss the extra calories of the mayo. All the ingredients are fresh and I really like that the meat and cheese is sliced right in front of you. read more

This place is usually pretty good but today wasn't one of those days. The hot sandwiches were great, but the cold sandwiches had so much olive oil/vinegar on one and only vinegar on the other that the bread turned soggy & mushy within 20 minutes of getting them home. Although friendly, polite, and clean, it is one of the slowest Jersey Mike's on earth. Not happy to spend 30 minutes just to order and pick-up a couple of "fast food" sandwiches. The product was fine after the incredibly long wait, and parking was no problem. It was just way too slow. Could have prepared and cooked a thick crust pizza or multi course meal faster than it took to get a sandwich here. Please work on your efficiency and be attentive to walk ins who get the short end of the stick in terms of time wasting delays. Wow! That's teamwork (and poor service). I placed my order using their app about 50 minutes in advance ( soonest time I could get). Then, when I walk in to grab my order, NOT MADE. "We're out of white bread!", one girl started shouting to me across the store. Just really poor service. Don't go to the Mount Vernon location if you're used to decent service from othe Mike's. I love sandwiches. A sandwich done right typically goes unnoticed. My most recent Italian Sub from Jersey Mike's is an exception. I was celebrating my birthday (Free regular sandwich and drink if you join their club) and ordered my next day's lunch. (The aforementioned Italian.) First off, I love watching my food being prepared, and watching the cheese and meat being sliced specifically for my meal is absolutely astounding. And it doesn't stop there. The made-to- order sandwich looked perfect! Everything was to my exacting standards. I took the sandwich home and stuck it in my refrigerator. They don't really have much of a menu but the food is made right in front of you and always fresh. I have only been to Jersey Mikes a couple of times and never had a horrible experience. Right off of the I-5 so a good place to stop at to eat a sandwich in the car while driving. The staff was 3 happy young girls who gave me suggestions and cut the meat and cheese as I was ordering. Ordered the Italian on Rosemary bread. Very good but man did homegirl put a lot of oil and vinegar on it. It didn't ruin my sandwich but it was very overpowering. The ppl who wrk here intend good and mean well but aren't really trying as hard as they should They over charged me for a sandwich. The sandwiches are great. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is cause the staff isn't trained right. They don't help each other, they are stressed out from the long line and loose their minds. The cashier just sits there and waits for the even slower guy doing the toppings. I mean slow, like putting one piece at a time and make sure it's perfectly placed.
