We come here at least 2-3 times a week. Lately we have been very disappointed. Last week they were out of sourdough bread for the sandwiches. This week they are out of chips along with a bunch of other items, per the cashier. I can't understand how a facility such as Panera Bread, can't ensure they have enough supplies, to serve their customers. Food was good but it took over 25 minutes to get our food (at the drive through) and there were several mistakes to our order. When we arrived to our destination we discovered that our soup was missing entirely, as were the kids' apples. They did throw in some chips, and bread, and 2 cookies to try to make up for the wait. Unfortunately, not receiving the soup we paid for was disappointing. And the mix n match sandwich I ordered was put in as a full, and we were charged for that rather than the half. read more

My friends and I stopped on Sunday after an event in Puyallup; we spent an HOUR in the drive thru. We entered the drive at 3:06 with 3-4 cars in front of us. We waited for 40-45 minutes before we could even place the order at the speaker. When we got to the window we were made to wait to pay, and then to receive our food despite seeing the bag within plain sight. To be clear, we ordered a single sandwich and a cup of water. Having multiple items unavailable on your food items is a little odd. Usually like Panera and came to this location in a pinch because we wanted a sandwich from Costco and the food courts closed for repairs. When ordering the sandwich I usually get it had an item that was out of stock, then after ordering we were waiting for 10 minutes they came up to me asking about another item being not in stock and if it was ok to make it. Many thanks to this Panera location for preparing a very last minute catering lunch order. I placed the order online prior to leaving, roughly an hour before pick up. Danielle and her team were very courteous, and efficient. Unlike most locations in Western WA it sits within its on lot allowing for a great number parking spots. Ordered a bacon and an artichoke souffle which is like an egg quiche croissant type pastry. The Cashier took my order without telling me they don't have an Artichoke soufflé. I received a chopped bacon and plain cheese soufflé. It took them 8 min to heat it up. It did not taste like a pastry but a doughy over baked frozen pizza dough like egg thing for $16. Well, well, well kiddos just imagine I have thrown out the ever fleeting five stars. Five stars because honestly, the cashier was a saint waiting on my husband to make a choice of some sort as he was going between the two and so I just ordered the sandwich he wanted to order and honestly I wasn't expecting much . To report that I was beyond thrilled with everything in the same visit at the same place at the same time , the service , the cleanliness and everybody's being polite and nice. The table was spotless, but the best part is that dang salad and that crazy good sandwich. Hubby said salad was very good but the wonderful bread with spectacular Italian beef was beyond stupendous and of course you always have a dessert, the everything kitchen sink cookie is still a winner. If I could have one American chain in Canada it would be Panera. I always stop in when shopping stateside for a tomato soup and sangy! Panera Bread is a fave, and the staff at this one is usually Friendly & helpful. I stop here on my way to & from Canada. It's next to a Costco Gas (cheap cheap), and costco. It's a standard format restaurant layout for Panera bread. The you pick two is a favorite (broccoli cheese soup & sandwich or green goddess salad). The parking lot can be a little awkward mixing with Costco traffic. But definitely worth the stop. read more

I am very upset at my experience. We experienced a problem within every area of this restaurant. The food was very gross. My family and I had ordered two mac and cheeses, and a "You pick two" with wild rice soup and a sandwhich. The sandwhich and one of the max and cheese were good. How ever, the other mac and cheese was disgusting to put it simply. It wasnt the right texture and tasted very odd. The cheese was very thick and tasted sort of old. The wild rice soul was also messed up, my daughter said it tasted sour and I tried it and agreed. The wait time for our order was very long. The employees were very friendly though. It is very basic food, and it is like the smallest omit that slides away from your toast better get eaten, die do the high cost. I totally get the negative reviews, but I've had an overwhelmingly positive expirence at this location. The staff may not be the most friendly- but they seem to be patient for first time customers. The food is what you'd expect from a chain. Not the freshest, but it's decent. I started to enjoy this location more after they added flat-bread pepperoni pizza- and I've been coming here more often. Although not the best place to eat, there's not a whole lot of better places for quick dining at a chain restaurant in this area. I think it's this, Five Guy's and Olive Garden? Bear Claw Pastry - not healthy, but who cares, it was freshly baked and delicious The dining area was clean, bright and well maintained. It was comfortable and kid friendly. The young man working at the register named Alex deserves the world. This guy put forth so much effort into serving me, recommended me sandwiches, and even came over for a taste test to see if I liked it. This guy cares more about his job than I currently care about anything in life and it was very clear he was putting forth as much effort as possible to do his job perfectly. This is genuinely a remarkable young man and it was really refreshing to see how polite and professional he was. Genuinely this guy should be put to work somewhere more valuable and he deserves a raise. I've never met such a professional fast food employee in my life. In the nicest way imaginable, this employee is on the spectrum and truly goes to show that his disability does not stand in his way. Good quick and friendly service sums it all up. I love Panera bread seems like I cannot get enough. Came here to pick up a dozen bagels for $6.99. Their bagel are made daily and are huge. Love them. Order accuracy to me has been between 50% and 60% for some time. Staff frequently fails to bring food to cars a curb side, store has historically run out of bread frequently. Not an issue with other Panama Bread / St. Louis Bread Co restaurants I've been to. Shame the one in my home town can't figure it out. read more

Tonight was hands down the worst owner experience I've ever had. I got there a little before 7:30 which I thought was enough time since the store closed at 8. No one was there to greet me at the door so I took advantage of the kiosk. Shortly after an employee greeted me and was extremely nice. After that things took a turn for the worse. The employees in the prep station begin yelling and complaining that I ordered once they were closed. I could hear them calling me profanities and an idiot for ordering so late. Next they turned off the lights and told me this is what happens when you order from a closed store. Then the person vacuuming began ramming the vacuum into the bench I was seated at. When I was finally able to pick up my food the employee would not give me a drink cup. This is the first time I've ever felt unsafe at a Panera and will not be returning. I did not eat the food out of fear that something was done to it. read more
