Not one to leave bad reviews, but this experience definitely warrants one. My family and I visited the Subway in Sneads Ferry this evening. I had double-checked the hours beforehand to ensure we had time to sit and eat, as my daughter had practice later. We arrived around 8:30 PM, well before the posted closing time. However, we immediately noticed all the chairs were already flipped onto the tables. Still, we walked in -- there were five of us -- and were not greeted by the young woman sweeping the floor or the gentleman behind the counter. My husband politely asked if they were closing, and the young woman responded bluntly (and quite rudely), "No, we're open, but our lobby closes at 6." Lobby hours? That was news to us. There was no signage posted about the lobby closing earlier, and even a quick Google search didn't show anything about separate lobby hours. To make matters worse, when my daughter attempted to use the restroom, she was told they were already closed as well. Between the rudeness, the lack of any visible communication about lobby hours, and the very uncomfortable, unwelcoming atmosphere, we decided to leave. Thankfully, we went to Jersey Mike's, where we were greeted kindly and treated professionally. We understand policies exist -- but the way they're communicated (or not) and the way customers are treated makes a big difference. We won't be returning to this location. read more

The food is good but reason is for the 1 star is the customer service, me and my mom just went to subway and this girl with black and green hair did not greet us whatsoever and asked us "what do you want" very rudely and had a whole attitude the whole time while making the sub the other worker she was polite and got us at the register while the girl with the black and green hair came up giving my mom an attitude grabbed my moms card to just tap to pay then afterwards walked off rolling her eyes acting all very sassy afterwards and I did not tolerate that whatsoever and I'm still surprised she's still working there after the reviews told about her. read more

The best Subway I have ever had! The ladies were wonderful and the sandwiches had plenty of meats and cheeses. The toppings were fresh and did I mention that the ladies there were wonderful? If you are having a sandwich anywhere else you need to stop in here! read more

The food is not the problem. The customer service with the girl with black and green hair, I think her name is Alyssa is terrible. She started off by saying "what do you want" instead of a nice greet or anything. She gave us the death stare the whole time we were in there and it made me very uncomfortable. This Subway has improved through the years that I have been a customer. In 2012 I couldn't understand how they stayed in business with the poor service and attitudes that I had to deal with. In 2014 I decided to give them a try again and was positively impressed with the management, cleanliness, service, and quality of the standard Subway menu. This review brings me forward to my many visits to this restaurant in 2016. I think I spent two months on the "Subway Diet" because this location was convenient, well run, clean and had fresh options that so many fast food places are short on. My request for piles of lettuce, lots of tomatoes, pickles and peppers was always accommodated. My request to avoid contact with onions due to an allergy for one person in our party was also carefully followed with the manager changing her gloves, using a clean knife and avoiding cross contamination. Every sandwich, every time we ordered exceeded our expectations. I also appreciated their willingness to apply frequent purchase points to our daughters loyalty card by merely giving the phone number associated with the card. With the number of sandwiches we purchased she will have earned several free sandwiches. A plus for many people in this area is that this is one of the only Subway Sandwich Shops that I have seen with a drive-thru. To accommodate the men and women of the surrounding Marine Corp Bases they offer a call and order drive-thru service since the military members are prohibited from going to restaurants and stores in uniform. Although I didn't need that service I am glad that local restaurants are willing to offer their food in an acceptable way to the members of the military. Subway you rock! This particular location has some awesome ladies working in it. And I say ladies because every time I've went it's always been ladies( so gentlemen if you are here I'm sure you all rock too! Haha) Upon entering you are immediately greeting and that makes such a difference when going to a restaurant or store! It shows right off that bat hey welcome we appreciate you being here! I appreciate it very much! I've never encountered a problem here at all. The vegetables have always been fresh as well as the meats and breads. The inside is very tidy and bathroom is as well. Not sure if people know but they do have a subway card that each time you get a sub etc you can slide this subway points card and get points for each purchase you make. It adds up and before you know you have enough for a free sub with chips and a drink. So if you frequent subway be sure to ask about this as those points add up . I personally have 280 points and I think I can get a couple of subs and drinks so hey that's pretty awesome. It's always a pleasure to visit this location! If you are in the area stop by grab a few subs, drinks and head over to the beach! Don't forget to ask about the subway point card!! read more

Super fast and friendly Subway! I honestly try not to give fast food workers crap for their attitudes because I know how working in the industry is, but they were so nice! It didn't feel like they were trying to rush me out of the line even with it back to the door and they had online orders, drive-thru orders, and catering to do. Ordered my regular: footlong tuna on Italian herbs and cheese. Delicious! Everything tasted fresh and was put together nicely. You know how they sometimes like to throw your stuff together? Not this time! And the bread wasn't crispy, crackly, fall-apart-to-dust!~ The only thing that could have made it better... some sweet peppers. Y'all look into getting some of them! read more

I know the owner personally of this Subway and let me tell you she Rock she runs all the time I don't know how she does it she's there when it opens and most of the time she's there when it closes at 6 in the morning you can have a cup of coffee with her and I really enjoy being there I do is a great place to go and get sandwiches and drinks and salads and the cookies are to die for the breads are always fresh the meats are out of this world I've been eating there ever since they opened and I'm so happy that Miss Amy has been able to hang on through this coronavirus it's hurting everybody but she's hanging in there we're all going to hang in there together Miss Amy and Pam I wish you all the best may God be gracious to us and thank you so much for fixing food and being there for us see you in the future keep on keepin on Kathy Parker read more

Not the best, workers seem pissed when a new customer walks in! The toppings are not that fresh, do not get the tomatoes, nasty! I love tomatoes too! The bread tastes stale and the meat smells funky! Nasty! Restaurant Impossible or Restaurant takeover needs to give them some useful tips, but then again, if you have bad habits, might take awhile to snap out of it! Not going back :( read more

Wow, it's Subway! I ate fresh. The best sandwich is hands down the chicken bacon ranch with creamy Sriracha sauce.

This subway is one of the best I have ever been to. I have an allergy to raw onions so it gets a little difficult when going to places like this. The employees always greet me with kind words and expressions. Also they are very understanding when I ask for clean gloves and a clean knife (that way my food isn't contaminated with onion juice). They always indulge my request with understanding and caring. They even go so far as to make sure they look through the lettuce and tomato to make sure they haven't touched any onions. I also like this subway because it has a pickup window, This subway not only services the civilians but the military in the community as well. The Marines that go pick up chow there are most of the time not allowed to get out of their vehicles because the daily uniform isn't allowed to be worn out in town. So this subways has come up with a system of telephone requests and a drive through pick up window. It is a healthier alternative to most other places with drive through windows. I would definitely recommend this subway to others but just a word of caution. During the summer, at lunch time, this store can be a bit busy (tourists from the local island beach, Marines and Sailors from the local military instillation, and residents/employees of businesses in the area all come during lunch time during the summer). read more
